Week

Spinning silk...

Weaving scarves...

Weaving bands...

And picking produce. That's been my week, other than the day job.

Rewrite

I have been hard at work on the rewrite/revision of By Any Other Name, so sorry about the lack of posts. I've also been bust weaving (and spinning) while thinking about what happens next! I've woven three scarves this weekend. Here is one of them, with bonus kitty pictures:

A Glint of Silver

A Glint of Silver, finished at 8:07pm tonight!
February 16- August 3169 days, with an average of 721.59 words per day, all handwritten.
This actually occurs right around/before the time of Fire and Water. The next book will continue that story arc.

Weaving Room #2

So the BGL lives in the upstairs weaving room along with most of my yarn and weaving supplies. Talia, the little floor loom, lives downstairs along with more yarn and other supplies (and my CPW.)
This room is also where I warp my rigid heddle looms because there's plenty of space.
Yesterday, it was time to clean and rearrange in that room, and also time to convert Talia from a 4h/4t loom to a 2h/2t loom. That went well, and so did the cleaning. I even posted auctions on eBay!

There was a project already on it when it arrived yesterday. I finished it this evening. I love using this loom!

It was made by F. Ellmauer from Cedarburg, WI. I haven't looked the maker up yet. It was, according to the seller, made from plans published in a Latvian newsletter about Latv...
