Third picking

Third picking of the raspberries.
These will be dropped off at Mom and Dad's house tomorrow morning so Elsa can have fresh raspberries with her breakfast. :)

Blueberries!

The extent of my blueberry harvest-to-be this year.

Nasturtiums are getting ready to bloom...

And the currant harvest this evening:

First Raspberries! (And more currants!)

I picked the first two raspberries today. The deluge has begun!

And tonight's currant harvest (before the storms):

Currants, Day 4

Yesterday, I stopped at mom and dad's house on the way home from work. We planted more tomatoes and some Malabar spinach. By the time I got home and fed and watered everyone, I barely had enough daylight to pick the currants, but I went out and picked them anyway.

Last Day

My last day of vacation before I go back to work. :(
I will miss 2pm in the backyard.

Garden 2014

I've been busy working out in the garden and outside in the yard. Planted most of the big garden--it looks really good right now! And I mulched it, too.
My Raintree order came, so I planted that yesterday evening. Five blueberries and three grapes. We'll see how they do on the hill.
I have a plumber coming tomorrow to fix my leak, make the upstairs bathroom workable (yay and hopefully), and fix the leaky pipe in the downstairs bathroom as well. This should be interesting. Hopefully...
