Dreaming of Being Chased
It can terrify you when you’re dreaming of being chased. Whether that’s by an animal or a person with a knife or gun. Most people focus on who is chasing them, which is important. Yet it’s vital to know why you’re running away.
Interpretation of Dreaming of Being ChasedThere are generic dream meanings of being chased in a dream dictionary. Keep in mind any symbols or actions in a dream can have endless messages depending upon the dreamer’s unique dream language, upbringing, relationships, present issues, and more.
Here are ten interpretations for dreaming of being chased:
Someone wants to or is hurting you.You need space from someone. You aren’t feeling safe in life. You’re not dealing with something in your life. You have to stop running away from past issues.A person in your life isn’t respecting your boundaries.Your dream is a past life dream. You’re afraid of becoming involved and committed in a relationship. An animal chasing you means to acknowledge or heal this animal’s characteristics and traits within you.You are having a precognitive dream warning you to take precautions with a person/situation before it harms you.Again, none of those meanings are written in stone.
Click for Books
How to Interpret Your Being Chased DreamNow, compare the ten generic meanings to your dream. If none of them fits, then it’s time to dig deeper into your dream.
Go Within and ReflectYou may want to take your dream journal with you to record the answers. Find a quiet spot, close your eyes, breathe deeply, and allow yourself five to thirty minutes to reflect on one or more of these six questions:
Who does the person symbolize in your life? What does the animal mean to you and could it be characteristics of you?Who or what could the monster or unknown thing be?What problems or issues are occurring in your life? When and where did this happen if it’s a past event in your dream? What actions can you take today?Allow yourself not to think hard about the answers, while accepting whatever comes up. Sometimes you won’t receive any answers, which is okay. The answers may occur when you least expect it; for example, taking a shower or in another dream.
What’s Pamela Dreaming? When I moved to North Carolina, my dreaming of being chased turned into recurring dreams. Here’s the dream theme:
I was running away from evil people who were trying to kill me and the group of people I was with. We would hide in a river, house, and other places while the people search for us. It was scary!
Two MeaningsA past life where this actually occurred.I wasn’t feeling accepted for who I was and felt threatened by those who thought differently than me.My ReflectionThis could have been a past life dream where I was harmed or killed with a group of people.
Although it fit better in this lifetime, as these dreams were symbolic of me being a Northerner who was now living in the South. My woo-woo thinking and lifestyle didn’t fit with the Bible Belt’s way of life.
These recurring dreams were showing me to find people who I could connect with and to be myself. However, I needed to not reveal certain aspects of myself to those who weren’t safe or accepting of who I was to avoid being hurt.

My Book from Hair Dreams
No, my book from hair dreams didn’t happen overnight. Instead, it took time to happen. Our dreams of the nighttime often give guidance steps for us to take in life. It’s up to us to do the action steps.
Back in May 2020, I had a precognitive dream about my hair and a couple of hairstylists, which prompted me to stop dyeing my hair. This hair dream inspired me to write the blog, Hair Dream Meanings. That began many life changing experiences while transitioning to my natural hair color.
My Book from Hair Dreams ContinuesA couple of months ago, I received information when I wasn’t fully awake. You can learn more about the in-between state of being awake and asleep on this blog. The guidance was to put aside the book I had been writing about spiritual dreams, instead focus on a book about transitioning from hair dye.
This surprised me, yet once I began, the words flowed quickly. It took me a week to write the rough draft!
Then I had two dreams while the book was being edited by my editors and I was deciding upon which cover to use. Both dreams were about how popular this eBook would become. Honestly, I wasn’t thinking about my book becoming popular, instead I felt an urge to complete it. Time will tell whether the dreams were precognitive or my subconscious desire.

Following Dreams’ GuidanceDream interpretation is so important to discover your dreams’ guidance and wisdom. It’s actually similar to listening to your intuition. How many times have you ignored your intuition and regretted it later? The same is true of dreams’ messages.
If I had disregarded my dreams, intuition, and the in-between state wisdom, I would not have grown in my life. Plus, I would have missed out on saving time and money, having healthier hair, meeting new people, learning how to take care of my curly hair, and writing a new book.
This Curly Woman Went GrayThe title of my eBook is This Curly Woman Went Gray. I was having a tough time figuring out a title and the love of my life blurted out, “This curly girl went gray,” while he was driving the car. Hmm, not bad, I thought and wrote myself an email to remember it. Obviously I took his suggestion, yet changed it to curly woman. Why? Because Curly Girl is a well-known term from Lorraine Massey books and could be trademarked. That happened to a friend of mine and she had to change the title of her book and website to avoid a lawsuit. What a nightmare she went through! Besides, I’m approaching the BIG 60 and not a girl.
Here’s the blurb from the eBook:A dream about her dead hairstylist inspired Pamela to stop dyeing her hair. She discovered growing out her silvers is NOT an easy path, yet filled with many powerful lessons. Pamela shares what she learned to ease your journey, whether you’re thinking about starting or already transitioning to gray hair.
In This Curly Woman Went Gray, you will learn three methods to choose from to return to your natural hair color. There are tips to help you go through the awkward beginning stages. They include how to recognize the four types of unsolicited advice and what actions to take with these polite hair trolls. During this voyage, you may need to look at your hair story and use the steps provided to heal any hair trauma.
There’s also a chapter about how to take care of your curly hair. Whatever texture your hair is, this eBook is for you.
Where to Find the BookIf you preorder the eBook, you will save a dollar. The release date is June 9, 2022. You can find This Curly Woman Went Gray at the USA Amazon website here https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B2TN3JDF. If you live outside of the States, please click here https://books2read.com/GrayCurly
I wish you many sweet dreams that brings wisdom and guidance for your life.

What to Do After You Interpret Your Dreams
So you want to know what a dream means, but have you thought about what to do after you interpret your dreams? This reminds me of someone who wants to write a book, reads all the how-to books, attends seminars, and has a coach. Yet, this person never sits down to write and apply all the information they learned. After doing a dream interpretation and understanding the dream’s wisdom – it’s time to apply it to your life.
Occasionally, a dream’s message is crystal clear. Sometimes it will take more than one dream for you to get the messages, which is why recurring themes and dreams occur. A dream journal is useful to reflect on your dreams to dig into deeper meanings. It also exercises your interpretation muscle.
What to Do After You Interpret Your DreamsOne dream can have many meanings and you need to be open to several interpretations. However, your gut often knows whether it’s one message or aspects of all the different interpretations. Before taking action on the wisdom of your dream, it’s time to ponder on how this relates to your life. Use one or more of the following six reflections:
Does the dream relate to a current problem? Is the dream pointing out something you have been denying?Could this dream be about your past that hasn’t been resolved yet?Are there any solutions in the dream that can help you?Does this dream have clues regarding your future? Is the dream helping your personal and spiritual growth?Once you have a clearer understanding of where the dream’s message fits into your life, then you can take the steps to use and apply the helpful information.
Click for Books
Two Examples of What to Do After You Interpret Your DreamsI’ll use two dream examples to help you apply your dream’s information. Or to clear up any misunderstandings of what I am referring to.
Dream OneYour right foot hurts while walking and you need a cane to walk better.
Let’s apply the first three questions to this dream.
Current Problems – if your right foot has been bothering you, then it’s time to make an appointment with a podiatrist. If you don’t go to the foot doctor, there could be worse problems in the future.Denial – the dream is showing you the truth about your love relationship that you have been denying. You think your lover isn’t important, but if you walked away, it would hurt. And you really need them to enhance your life. Tell him/her how important they are to you and show it through your actions.Unresolved Past – your childhood wasn’t stable because you grew up in an orphanage and were in many foster homes. Now it’s time to get some help and find a support system to help you move into the future.Dream TwoYou realize that the outfit you’re wearing isn’t appropriate for your job and have some time to buy what you want from a mall within walking distance. When you’re inside the mall, none of the stores appeals to you, but everyone else has shopping bags and seems satisfied. Then you realize that you’re going to have to wear what you’re wearing or you’ll be late to work.
Now, I’ll use the last three questions for this dream.
Solutions for the Dreamer – it’s important for you to be satisfied with who you are and not to be someone else to satisfy other people’s viewpoint of what’s appropriate. Be yourself!Future Clues – you will no longer fit in with your current job. It will take time to find work that will fulfill you and don’t take a job of what others think is right for you. Perhaps, self-employment is the way to go. Yet it’s not time to quit your job.Personal and Spiritual Growth – you are in the process of outgrowing your current self. There’s a part of you that wants instant growth of yourself and spirituality. But you need to accept yourself where you’re at, work on yourself, and know that you have time to grow and transform.Final ThoughtsNow that you have a clearer idea of what to do after you interpret your dreams, I hope you will take your dream’s message and put it into action. An action step like going to see the foot doctor or look for a job. Or to do internal action by realizing how much you need your lover or to be satisfied with who you are. If you don’t then you could end up like the want-to-be author I described at the beginning of this blog.

Dream Meanings for Lion
Are you wondering what the dream meanings for lion are? Or why you dreamed about a lion in the first place? Whether you’re a cat lover or not, the lion symbol can appear in your dreams. Lions have powerful symbolism that is useful for your unique dream language.
In this blog post, I will go into five dream meanings for lion. However, with any symbol, there is always an abundance of possible messages. Therefore, it’s important to ponder upon the lion message in your dream. Here are five questions you can ask yourself:
What does the lion symbol mean to me?Do I have any memories of lions from my past?Could the lion represent a person I know?Is there a situation in my life today the lion might symbolize? What feelings did I have about the lion – was I scared, excited, happy…?Use these five questions for different dream symbols, too. You can always add your own questions if you like.
Five Dream Meanings for LionThe following are five general meanings for lions for you to use for your dream.
Click for your free gift!
King of the JungleIt’s time for you to survey your territory or life situation. Are you in control of what is happening? Or are you out of control? Are people invading your territory with their demands? Do you protect what is yours?
The king of the jungle is symbolic for power and boundaries, which are male-like characteristics. Women and men need to create limits and have some control over their destiny. Don’t allow others to take advantage or abuse you. Instead, take your power back.
PrideThere are two meanings for pride regarding lions. First, let’s look at the pride of lions as a symbol for your family. This can also mean your friends who are like family. Examine what’s happening with you and your loved ones.
Lions are very protective. Are you protecting your family? Maybe you’re overprotective? There’s a hierocracy in a pride of lions. Does this work in your pride? Is it time to allow more equality?
The other meaning of pride is to be proud. It’s time to take pride in your life and of who you are. Or do you need to stop being so prideful?
RoarA lion’s roar is powerful and expressive! It’s time to voice yourself and say what is on your mind. This could also mean that you are a powerful speaker. Or you need to go into a career where talking is a major part of it. Think about if the expression means more than speaking; for example, expressing your individuality.
When a lion roars, it also can sound angry. If you are angry, it’s time to voice your anger. This will help you let it go… Anger can also be about creating boundaries to become the king of your own jungle.
LyingThis isn’t to say that lions are liars. Rather, it’s your subconscious doing a play on words. Are you lying to yourself or others? Or is someone lying to you? Whatever one it is, it’s important to get to the truth and be truthful.
CourageLions need courage to hunt, fight off enemies, and survive the hardships of their landscapes. These actions seem courageous to humans. Courage is an inside job and why the Cowardly Lion needed to look within to find his courage in the Wizard of Oz.
What’s Pamela Dreaming? This blog was inspired by a dream that I had of nine lions. Here’s one brief scene from my long dream:
Three teenager lions were in my room. A male sat next to me, wanting me to pet him. I kneeled by him and started petting the side of his jaw. The lion was enjoying me petting him, yet I was terrified that he could hurt me. I thought to myself – don’t show him you’re afraid to keep him from hurting you, show no fear.
Obviously, that dream scene was about me having the courage to walk through my fear.
Final ThoughtsIf you didn’t resonate with any of those five meanings, then use the five questions instead. To learn more about lions, I encourage you to watch documentaries about them. An oldie, but a great movie and book is Born Free, which is about Joy Adamson reintroducing the lion cub, Elsa, she raised back into the wild. This movie made me want a lion cub. Giggle. It’s safer to have cats and they’re my little lions.

Learning Dream Interpretation Takes Time
Every day, people visit my website to quickly find out what their dream meanings, yet learning dream interpretation takes time. Dream dictionary apps/books might give a small clue about a dream’s message. Reading a blog about a symbol, dream category, and how to do interpretation adds another piece of the puzzle. Yet there’s so much more to learn about dreams, which takes time.
Would you expect to learn how to play a musical instrument by reading a few blogs or watching a couple of videos? How about finishing a college course instantly? Perhaps you could master yoga within a week? Good luck mastering yoga in a week! It took me four months of practicing yoga before I could reach my toes in forward fold and years later there are still poses I can’t do well.
Learning Dream Interpretation Takes TimeSince it takes time to learn, master, and become an expert with a musical instrument, a major in college, and yoga; wouldn’t it make sense the same is true about analyzing dreams? We need dedication to learn dream interpretation and any other skill. The more you attempt to interpret your dreams, the more your interpretation skill grow and become stronger. Warning: it can take decades to a lifetime before you may feel like you’re an expert.
To begin to understand your dreams, you need to remember them and a method to record it. This gift package tells you how. My free eBook Got Dreams? Discover Your Ideal Dream Journal is included in the package. But if you just desire the eBook, you can download it to your phone at the Google Play or Apple store. Or find it at Kobo, Smashwords, and Barnes & Noble.
Two Main Reasons Learning Dream Interpretation Takes TimeThe two main reasons are dream language and dream categories. Let’s go over each of these.
Dream LanguageDream language is different than the English language or any language people use when they are awake. There are words in English that often have more than one meaning; for example, fall, nails, and squash. In a dream, one word, action, and symbol can have dozens upon dozens of meanings in the universal dream language.
Then there is the individual dream language, which is unique to each person. Your feeling in a dream will change one symbol and action meaning. Therefore, the symbol and action meaning will change depending if you’re happy, sad, fearful, jealous, angry… Your past and present obstacles can also alter the message with the one symbol and action in the same dream.
Now, imagine adding other symbols and another person’s action in the same dream? That’s right, even more possible meanings. This is why it’s so important to record your dreams to begin to understand your unique symbols and personal dream language, while noticing repeating patterns or themes.
Dream CategoriesDreams can have different categories; for instance, solution, recurring, and precognitive. To help you understand this, I’m going to use the following dream example:
You’re hiking up an enormous mountain, and your legs are becoming tired. So you stop for a moment and take a deep breath.
This solution dream is reinforcing how difficult it is at your company to reach the top and how tired you are of feeling unstable in your current position. It’s time to become centered and reflect on your next career steps.Your recurring dream will keep repeating until you realize you need to stop and figure out how to stop creating mountains out of molehills in your life. This precognitive dream is showing you a glimpse into the future where you will live in the mountains. And how you need to start exercising so you’ll have the stamina to live there.Hopefully, you have a better understanding about how dream categories change a dream meanings and the need to explore each category.
Final ThoughtsThere are other reasons of why learning dream interpretation takes time; such as your current obstacles or life experiences. When you understand your dream meanings, you’re learning more about who you are. Also, your dreams provide wisdom to use in every area of your life.

Flower Dream Meanings
This article about flower dream meanings will first cover the general symbolism. Then we will go over the Bouquet card interpretation in a Lenormand reading. And finally, I’ll show how emotions, actions, and what’s happening in your life affect interpreting the flower symbol.
General Flower Dream MeaningsHere are eight generic meanings for dreaming about flowers:
A gift is coming into your life. It’s time to slow down and smell the roses. You will be dating. There will be upcoming romantic times with your partner.Your mate will give you flowers for Valentine’s Day.A new beginning will occur in your life.An upcoming death of a loved one and you will attend their funeral. You or a loved one are having health issues and could wind up in the hospital.Lenormand Bouquet Card MeaningsSome readers call the bouquet card, the flower card in Lenormand. I thought the interpretation of this card would be useful for flower dream meanings. These are ten interpretations of this card:
Happy times.A beautiful and charming person.A small gift that doesn’t last long.An unexpected visit.Invitation to an event.Showing or having gratitude.A florist.A gardener.Allergies.Alternative medicine.Depending upon the layout of other cards and who is reading the Lenormand cards, there are many more interpretations for the bouquet card.
Merlin’s Purrfect Lenormand Click to Learn MoreEffects on Flower Dream MeaningsAll the above meanings for flowers make sense, yet each dreamer is different. Everyone has their own unique experiences, emotions, and current life lessons, hence creating many meanings for the flower symbol. Let’s take three different types of flowers to demonstrate this theory.
Red RosesA woman dreams of receiving red roses from a man.
One woman awakes, thrilled that her crush gave her flowers.Another woman wakes up terrified because her stalker has been sending her red roses.A third woman feels sad because her deceased husband sent her red roses every birthday and Valentine’s Day.HoneysuckleYou’re in your bedroom with the window open and smell the scent of honeysuckle.
This dream is a nightmare to a little boy because his dad gave him a whipping in his bedroom, while he smelled honeysuckle. For a man who in his first week of basic training in the army, he wakes up feeling homesick, and wishes he was home with his wife whom he calls Honeysuckle. For myself, this would be a pleasant dream because we have a honeysuckle bush outside our bedroom window. I love the scent of these flowers and it reminds me of Spring.LilacsA man dreams of lilac flowers and his grandmother.
One man feels happy because he considers it a visitation from his deceased grandmother since lilacs were her favorite flowers.Another man is disgusted as it is a reminder of when his grandma was in a coffin and the mortician drenched her in lilac perfume.A third man thinks this dream is a sign to visit his grandmother considering he hasn’t visited her in two years.Final Thoughts on Flowers Dream MeaningsThose general meanings and three simple dreams are just the tip of the iceberg of what the flower’s dream means. If there are other symbols, people, and actions in dreams, then you added even more interpretations. Sprinkle in your past, present obstacles, and possible future to create even more flower dream meanings!

Three Methods to Prevent Nightmares
If you are suffering from horrendous dreams, these three methods to prevent nightmares will help you. Nobody enjoys nightmares, although they happen during our sleep to grab our attention. Why? To show us what changes are needed in our lives.
Three Methods to Prevent NightmaresThe following are three main reasons why we have nightmares and actions to stop nightmares from occurring.
Sleeping EnvironmentWhere you sleep may affect your dreams. If wolves are howling while you’re camping, you may have dreams about being surrounded by wolves. While your dreams might be sweet when staying at a luxury hotel.
Who you are sleeping with might cause nightmares. I once had a nightmare about not being able to move my legs and wasn’t able to walk. Upon awakening, I realized that my mate was spooning me, while one cat was sleeping by my stomach, and another was next to my legs.
A messy bedroom could seep into your dreams. For instance, a man complained about how he always had nightmares. When I asked what his bedroom was like, he informed me that he painted his walls black. No wonder he had nightmares!
If you desire sweet dreams, clean up your sleeping area. This will also help your waking life. Here’s an interesting article about “8 Psychological Problems a Messy Home Can Reveal About Us.”
Click Your Your Free Gift!
Nighttime RitualsThe following will encourage nightmares, especially right before bed:
The news.Horror movies and books.Violent movies and books.Anything negative.Problems in your life.Instead, take these actions an hour or so before sleeping:
Don’t watch the news.Watch positive or funny shows, movies, or videos.Let go of what you can’t control at the moment.Focus on the positive.Write or think about three things that you are grateful for.ObstaclesWhile it’s not productive to focus on your life obstacles right before bedtime, this doesn’t mean ignoring them either. You need to deal with childhood issues, work on changing bad behaviors, and find solutions to your problems.
I have received angry and negative feedback from the following quote taken from the book I authored Learn the Secret Language of Dreams:
Nightmares are a gift because the person is being forced awake to look at an issue that they have been avoiding to find a solution.
Pamela Cummins
Again, nobody enjoys a nightmare; nonetheless, they are often triggered by unresolved issues and problems. It is a gift to be alerted on what behaviors you need to change, what issues you have been denying, and where you’re stuck in your life.
If you suffered abuse in your childhood and haven’t dealt with the trauma, then this can either trigger nightmares or posttraumatic stress disorder dreams. Are you ignoring the red flags in your relationship? You will be shown the truth of your relationship through an uncomfortable nightmare. Addictions and bad behaviors are revealed through horrendous dreams.
Your entire being will improve by working on your stuff! There are times when it can be difficult and uncomfortable emotions can occur. Yet, once you’re through the issue, it diminishes and eventually disappears. Freedom from obstacles brings about a more joyful life!
In ConclusionMay you take whatever method that works best for you, although please don’t ignore your obstacles. If you need assistance with this, check out my services for dream interpretation and personal/spiritual growth.

Auto-narrated Audiobooks
Learn the Secret Language of Dreams and my other eBooks are now available as auto-narrated audiobooks. Basically it’s an audiobook using technology from Google. To learn more about this format, please read the article on my Pamela Cummins website.
Advantages of Auto-Narrated AudiobooksLong ago, I researched the process and cost of audiobooks. Depending upon the narrator it could cost up to $250.00 an hour, which can add up to thousands of dollars depending on the book size. Which is why audiobooks cost so much more than eBooks, publishers desire to cover the initial cost and hope to make a profit. I decided not to proceed since I’m an Indie author and would have to cover the cost.
When I discovered that Google Play had created auto-narrated audiobooks – I just had to learn more. Personally, I felt their voice technology was well done and so did some of my friends and family members. So I went for it…
At this time Google isn’t charging for this service. There was a recent discussion on what to price these audiobooks in an author’s group that I belong to. Here’s my answer, “I priced them the same as my nonfiction eBooks because I felt that was fair.”
Right now, these eBooks are only on Google Play. Human voices are only allowed on Audible and the two audiobook distributors Findaway and Author Republic. Although an author mentioned that Kobo was accepting the auto-narrated format and I’ll check that out.
You can find Learn the Secret Language of Dreams and my other audiobooks at Google Play. If you would like to hear a sample of the auto-narrated audiobook, listen to the video below.

Relapse Dreams
Most of society thinks that relapse dreams are only for recovering alcoholics and drug addicts. They wouldn’t be wrong as it can be devastating for someone who is sober for years to dream about gulping down a couple of beers. Or a heroin user dreaming of shooting up when he’s only been clean for a couple of months. However, relapse dreams aren’t just about drugs and alcohol.
Relapse Dreams in Different AreasWe humans can be addicted to other things besides drugs or alcohol. When we add in bad behavior and lifestyles, it creates many different areas to dream about relapsing. Here are sixteen examples:
OvereatingBulimiaJunk food.CigarettesWorkGamblingSexShoppingAngerGossipingBullyingAccepting abusive behavior.CodependencyRelationshipsAn ex-lover/spouse.Dyeing hair.Let’s review two of these topics:
An ExIn actuality, we could also lump in codependency and relationships for an ex, too. There was a time when my business focused mainly on relationships, while dream interpretation was secondary. I attracted more women clients than men. Some of these women were in unhealthy relationships that they had trouble leaving. Hence issues with relationship addiction and codependency.
One of these clients, whom I will call Debra, left a bad relationship. Debra was having a difficult time with her he-dox, which is a clever play on the word for detox created by Greg Behrendt, who is the author of He’s Just Not That Into You. Debra called me in a panic because she had a dream that she went back to her ex and he kept her as a prisoner in his home.
Click Your Your Free Gift! Dyeing HairPerhaps you’re wondering how could dreaming about using hair dye be considered a relapse dream. If you haven’t noticed, there’s a silver revolution where women have stopped dying their hair. Women are choosing to do this process cold turkey, highlights, or chopping their hair short. I am a part of this revolution prompted by a dream, which inspired me to write a blog about Dream Meanings for Hair.
Women who are embracing their hair are joining social media groups for support or as lifeline for those with critical family members and friends. This isn’t an easy process, especially for those of us who choose to take the cold turkey route. Quite a few posts are written on the topic of awakening in horror from a dream where they colored their hair! They are so grateful it was only a dream and all their hard work didn’t go down the drain.
Why Do We Have Relapse Dreams? The reason for relapse dreams varies with each person. However, there are three major reasons that I’ll go over.
Desire to Go Back to Old BehaviorThis is especially true for people who are quitting an addiction or behavior for the wrong reasons, such as pleasing another person. They don’t want to or are afraid of change. There might even be trauma that their subconscious has buried and they aren’t ready to deal with it. Those with bad behaviors who repeat their patterns can create illness, financial problems, and havoc in their relationships. While alcoholics and drug addicts that continue to carry on with their addiction will either hit a horrendous bottom or die.
How Much Their Recovery Means to ThemIn a sense, a relapse dream can be a blessing. For someone who have abstained from addiction or released an old way of living, these dreams are demonstrating how this no longer works for them. Plus, how much better their lives are with this change. Hence the reason why their relapse dream was so horrifying to them. Their dream keeps them inspired to continue down the path…
AnniversaryRight before or on an anniversary can trigger a relapse dreams, whether they have been abstinent for a year or decades. Again, it’s reminding them how much better their lives are and to keep on this journey. And sometimes it’s a reminder when someone forgets their old way of living. On October 1st, 2021, I awoke from a dream about buying cigarettes at the store and for a few minutes felt baffled. Then I remembered that I quit smoking on that date back in 1990. I’ve been a nonsmoker for so many years that I rarely think of it; nevertheless, it is important to be grateful for living a smoke free life!
Final ThoughtsWhether, you had a relapse dream about your addiction or something else, please ponder on why you had it. Could it be one of the three reasons above? Or is it something else? Do you need the support of a group or therapist? Are you willing to do the work to continue a better way of living? Or do you want to continue your addiction or bad behavior, even if it brings you pain or death? Dreams are always a gift for they encourage you to grow…
