Huge Sale at My Etsy Shop
I am having a huge sale at my Etsy Shop on my physical products because I decided to shut it down. Why? The Dream Mystic shop was extremely neglected as a result of my focus being on other aspects of my full business plate. Since it’s a New Year, I decided to lighten the load on the plate to avoid it from breaking. Therefore, I’m shutting the shop down at the end of January 2022.
Huge Sale at My Etsy ShopHere are the two physical products that are on sale:
50% off Analyze Your Dreams Oracle Cards.
20% off Learn the Secret Language of Dreams paperback.
Learn more and find these products by clicking Dream Mystic *Please note that my digital products are not on sale and will be available at Payhip.
Future Analyze Your Dreams Oracle CardsThere are less than twenty decks left in my inventory and once they’re sold it will be a while before new decks will be available. Next on my list is to begin writing my seventh book. Once the book is published, then I’ll create a different version of Analyze Your Dreams Oracle Cards. The new deck will most likely be available as print on demand at Game Crafter where my other decks are. This company does a much better job at packaging and shipping products than I do.
Final ThoughtsI will keep you posted on the progress of my new book, then the second version of the deck. May you release what is no longer needed on your plate and have a fantastic 2022!

Purse Symbolism in Dreams
This blog about purse symbolism in dreams was inspired by two of my recent dreams. First, let’s cover the general meanings for purse, handbag, and pocketbooks; whatever you choose to call it. Please note this information is also valid for backpacks and wallets, too.
Purse Symbolism in DreamsThese are six general meanings for handbags and wallets:
IdentityMoneySelf-worthPersonal valuables.Baggage that a person carries around.Social status depending upon the name brand of purse or wallet. However, it’s important to know this dream symbol could have hundreds upon hundreds of messages. Why? You need to consider all of the following within the dream: emotions, actions, people, location, present situations, and more… Perhaps my dreams and their interpretations will help you to understand this?
What’s Pamela Dreaming? Here are the two dreams that brought about the topic of purse symbolism in dreams.
First DreamI was walking down the street with a former childhood friend and we’re talking about something. It was cold so I put on my winter coat, causing the coat sleeve on my left arm to bunch up, which felt uncomfortable. When I stopped to fix it, my friend kept on walking and either ignored me or didn’t hear me when I called out to wait. Her actions felt rude and hurtful to me. Then I realized that my purse was gone and panic. Thankfully, when I looked across the street, it was on the outside table of a restaurant where we had been.
Next, I’m at the table and my purse is no longer there, so I go inside. When I asked the store owner, who’s an older man, about my purse and describe it as a tan leather purse with an outside pocket. He hands me a gray purse and I said, “No, that’s not mine.” Next he hands me a black purse and I shake my head no. That’s when I noticed there’s a ton of purses piled on the floor and realized that he and his employees are probably stealing them. Then it occurs to me that I can call my cell phone to find my purse, so I asked to use their phone.
Second DreamThis dream occurred the next day and was short. I felt upset because I didn’t know where my purse was. When I noticed it was hanging on my left arm, I was relived and embarrassed.

FYI Two points before I interpret my dreams. It’s interesting how both dreams are about my left arm. There’s a school of thought that the left side of our body is controlled by our right brain and vice a versa, although science doesn’t fully support this theory. Nonetheless, I’ll be using this viewpoint to describe my left arm as creativity, intuition, and my female side. Secondly, in my waking life, my purses have two straps that can be used as a backpack. Why? Because if I wear my handbag on one arm it hurts my shoulder. While wearing it as a backpack keeps my body in alignment and leaves my arms free to easily pick up and carry things. In the wintertime I use a black purse, not the tan purse in the dream. Onward to an interpretation…
InterpretationMy former childhood friend is symbolic for something old in my life and since she keeps going without me, it’s time to let it go despite the emotions it causes. The coat symbolism is to take the action to keep myself comfortable and protected. Since the sleeve bunches up on my left arm, which causes me to stop; it seems this could be something new to create that I need to think about and use my intuition before taking action. Whatever it is, it’s valuable to me and in my distant future, hence seeing my purse on the table across the street.
This dream is cautioning me to be careful of who I share my valuable, creative ideas with. Either they could attempt to steal it or try to take my clear idea and darken it with their logical, old school thinking. That interpretation is referring to my purse being taken, the old man trying to pass off other purses, and me wondering about the stolen purses.
When it occurs to me to call my cellphone, this is representing the need to use communication and take action to achieve what is rightfully mine.
My second dream is informing me not to worry about this path as my creativity and treasures are still with me.
Now, these dreams can have other meanings. The reason this interpretation feels right to me is because of what is occurring in my life today, which I’m not ready to reveal.
Final ThoughtsMy wish is that my dream has brought about clarity regarding purse symbolism in dreams. And to help you interpret your dream. Many Feelings Create Different Dream Meanings
The below four and half minute video demonstrates how many feelings create different dream meanings. Our feelings also affect a dream symbol’s message. I get this point across with the cat symbol inside a simple dream example, while using the emotions: fear, anger, sadness, and happiness.

Was it a Visitation Dream?
Perhaps you are wondering, was it a visitation dream I had last night? This is a question that brings hundreds of people each day to visit my blogs about dreams of the deceased and one I often hear from my clients.
Before answering was it a visitation dream, I feel it’s important to answer who can visit you in your dream. Depending upon your experiences and your beliefs, you could have a visitation from the following:
MotherFatherParental guardian.GrandparentsSiblingsChildrenSpouseLove partner.PetsCo-workersClientsBoss or Employees.Spirit guide.AngelArchangelReligious figure such as Jesus, Buddha, or Quan Yin.Fairies, elves, or other elementals.Your enemy (to help you make peace)Was it a Visitation Dream? Signs That It WasIt is common for a loved one to visit you upon crossing over and up to a month afterwards. Although, they can visit beforehand to alert you of their upcoming death, during a special occasion, and/or months, years, or decades after their passing.
Here are eleven signs of a visitation dream:
Your dream feels like a visit. There isn’t much action. You experience intense feelings of love.No words are spoken in the dream. You and your visitor have a brief conversation. In the dream there is telepathic communication.Your visitor lets you know they are okay. There’s a desire to make peace with one another. They use symbolism, yet it is a short dream. There is an inner knowing that this is more than a regular dream.Your loved one is healthier or younger than they were at the time of passing.
Click Your Your Free Gift! Was it a Visitation Dream? Signs That It Wasn’tPlease note that even if it wasn’t a visitation, your dream is still important to ponder upon and analyze the dream meaning. Why? This dream is to help you resolve issues with whoever showed up in your dream to bring peace into your life.
Here are nine signs that it wasn’t a visitation dream:
You are dreaming of a past event. There are a lot of dream scenes. This dream isn’t loving or peaceful. The dream has much action that can be unpleasant. You or your visitor are angry and/or behaving badly. It feels like you are having a normal dream. There is a ton of symbolism in the dream. The dream doesn’t make sense or is totally wacky.Your loved one looks the same at the time of a past event or when they crossed over.Is everything that I have written on how to tell the difference of was it a visitation dream written in stone? Not necessarily. These are guidelines for you to use.
A Combination of a Visitation Dream and Unresolved IssuesWe often dream in one or more dream categories; for instance, a health dream and solution dream. Therefore, it’s possible to have a visitation and unresolved issues within the same dream period. Why?
Let’s say you are having a dream about the past when your deceased mother was unsupportive and wanted you to stay with your abusive ex-husband. This dream came about because you still feel hurt and resentment that your mother believed your ex wasn’t abusive, instead of believing and helping you. Your dream becomes a beacon to your departed mom. Perhaps it’s for her own healing, love for you, or heavenly job to comfort you during your distressing dream. Your mom pops into the next dream scene to help you forgive her, thus bringing peace into your life.
This can also happen the other way. Your recently departed dog visits you in the dream to alert that she is okay; for a moment you feel peace and joy that Bella is in peace. Yet, because you haven’t grieved over Bella’s death, in the next dream scene you return to the memory of putting her down at the vet.
Final WordsHopefully the answer to was it a visitation dream will bring you peace or the courage to overcome your unresolved issues. If you would like another visitation, check out my $3.00 meditation for a Dream Visitation From a Deceased Loved One.
Please note that your comments are welcome. However, do NOT expect me to tell you what your dream means. If you want me to interpret your visitation dream, you have a choice to purchase a basic or in-depth dream interpretation by email.

Dream Interpretation and Lenormand Cards Similarities
Before going into dream interpretation and Lenormand cards similarities, let’s talk about their differences. They are like night and day as we usually dream at night and our dreams are nonphysical. While Lenormand cards are read when we are awake in their physical format. We can hold the cards in our hands, but not our dreams. Lastly, the majority of people will view them as completely different from one another.
Three Dream Interpretation and Lenormand Cards SimilaritiesIt was a dream that led me to Lenormand cards, which inspired me to create a deck in memory of my cat, Merlin. Now, I am in the process of becoming a certified Lenormand reader. This certification program has enabled me to see the real similarities between interpreting dreams and using Lenormand cards for guidance.
These are three main similarities I have discovered so far:
SymbolsSymbolism in dreams can be compared to the foundation of a house, as both are needed to build upon, whether that’s an interpretation or a home. The symbols in Lenormand are even more important; not only are these symbols the foundation of a house, they are the floors, walls, and sometimes the roof.
Symbols in dream interpretation and Lenormand cards are similar in offering an enormous amount of possible messages. Let’s use the house as an example.
From Merlin’s Purrfect LenormandSamples of house meanings in Lenormand are:HomeFamilyHeritageHome businessHermitRoommatesIn dream interpretation a house could be symbolic for:All of the above meanings for Lenormand house.MovingChildhood issues.Time to settle down.A career in real estate.Your body with different meanings depending on what floor or rooms you dream of.Nevertheless, there are many more possibilities of what a house could be symbolic for.

Many Meanings Depending UponIn both systems, there are countless meanings and messages. Symbols are only one part of dream interpretation and Lenormand. Let’s look at other factors that are involved:
Lenormand CardsBesides symbols there are:
PipsCard numbers.Different Layouts.Cards placement.Themes – relationships, money, health, and so forth. An example is the snake card.
From Merlin’s Purrfect LenormandFor most Lenormand readers the snake card has a negative meaning. Then there are readers who read pips, the Queen of Clubs on this card is for an excellent business woman who can be ruthless at times; for example, the character Miranda Priestly in “The Devil Wears Prada” movie. However, if a three card layout for the question how to grow your business is the snake, heart, and star – a possible interpretation could be it’s important to work hard at what you love about your business to become well known in your industry.
Dream InterpretationApart from symbols, it’s important to observe in your dream:
Emotions you felt.Actions in dream.Other symbols.People in the dream.Past experience.Present circumstances.Possible future.Dream categories.Obviously, I have a mega amount of blogs on this topic. Yet, let’s use the snake symbol again to demonstrate how meanings change:
In your dream you felt happy holding a snake, it might mean that you’re in for a happy transformation in life. Then your ex runs in with an ax and chops the snake in half causing you the emotion of anger; therefore, the message will change. This could mean not to allow your past experiences with your ex stop you from experiencing a joyful change. Or perhaps it’s an actual warning that he enjoys bringing havoc into your life?
Enhances GrowthThe most important dream interpretation and Lenormand cards similarities are that they accelerate our personal and spiritual growth. How? By:
Solving problems.Receiving guidance.Inspiring changes.Going deeper within.Validating your intuition.Discovering who you are.Trusting a Higher Source. These seven reasons are wonderful reasons to learn dream interpretation and/or how to read Lenormand cards.
In ConclusionDo you now understand their similarities? Perhaps it will motivate you to learn and study dream interpretation or Lenormand.
Merlin’s Purrfect Lenormand was just released at Game Crafters.

Going Deeper in Dream Interpretation
Going deeper in dream interpretation is so important to truly understand your dream meanings. If you use a dream dictionary app or book, you’re receiving a basic viewpoint. Instead it’s important to dig into all angles of the dream. An analogy for you to understand this is when you desire to know your horoscope for the day. There are a mega amount of sites that have horoscopes written from someone’s astrological point of view on your star sign. More importantly, these horoscopes are for the general audience and don’t take into account: the time of your birth, your ascending sign, different houses, and other aspects pertaining to astrology. The same is true for dream analysis.
Going Deeper in Dream InterpretationRecently a potential client emailed me the following:
So what happens when you dream about driving down the road and you end up sideways?
Now, talk about being general. Did the car end up sideways? Did your body end up sideways? Did an item in your car end up sideways?
Click for Your Free Gift Package
My ResponseYour short dream could have many meanings depending upon your emotions in the dream – very important! The type of car you’re driving, is it your car from today or a past car, what road you are traveling on, and if you’re alone or with passengers. Interpreting a dream is much more complicated than looking up a symbol in a dictionary. I would need more information to do a dream analysis.
Let’s look at a three different general aspects of how dream meanings can change in this dream.
EmotionsHappiness in this dream could mean not to take things so seriously and to view life from a different perspective. While being angry may signal to slow down to avoid becoming ungrounded.Car You’re DrivingA car from your past might mean that you’re holding on to issues that are making your life unbalanced. If it’s a new car the meaning can be a warning that you need to slow down when you are driving.Who’s In the Car?Driving alone in the car could be symbolic that you wish for more stability in your life.Having a passenger may be showing you that this particular person is causing havoc and it’s time to take back your power.More on Going Deeper in Dream InterpretationThe above simple interpretations are just the tip of the iceberg with this dream. Honestly, there can be many more meanings with this simple dream using different emotions, the car that’s being driven, and who is in the car. Now let’s sprinkle in what road they are driving on: a road from their past, the route they take to work each day, country road, highway, or a congested road with traffic.
What about their past experience? Perhaps, the dream is pointing to what’s happening in their life today? Is there an issue they need to deal with or could be in denial about? Could this dream be a precognitive warning of a future accident?
Now, do you understand why going deeper in dream interpretation is so important? Occasionally it’s a simpler analysis. However, usually dreams are complicated with many layers and symbolism. This was just a one sentence dream. Imagine a dream that’s more than one paragraph or many different dream scenes? Interpreting dreams is complex!

Signs from the Deceased besides Dreams
This post is to inform my readers about signs from the deceased besides dreams. Because every day I get hundreds of visits to three of my most popular blogs, Dreams of a Deceased Mother, Dreams of a Deceased Father, and Dreaming of a Deceased Pet. Yes, dreams about the departed are very important; however, that’s not the only way our deceased loved ones contact us. Sometimes our grief will stop them from visiting in our dreams. A departed loved one might prefer to contact us during the day by using another method, which they find easier or fits their personality better.
Signs from the Deceased besides DreamsHere are six ways you may recognize their presence:
Seeing them.Glimpsing them from the corner of your eye.Hearing their voice that’s NOT from a recorded audio or video.Feeling their energy, a cold sensation, or an actual touch.Smelling a scent you associate with them.Sensing that they’re with you.Birdy Bird, my parakeet, never visited my dreams. Instead, several times he would visit during Savasana (corpse pose) after I did yoga poses. Most likely because I was in a very meditative state and he had fun flying around me.
My mother visited me in my dreams a week before she crossed over. Sometimes I feel her presence during the day. Other times, I’ll be driving alone in my nonsmoking car and smell cigarette smoke (she was a heavy smoker) – yuck.
Click for your free gift!
Physical ItemsOur deceased loved ones also use physical items to give us a sign. These are six signs:
A phone call with their phone number on caller ID.Flicking of lights or other electronic happenings.Physical items have been moved.Pennies or other coins from Heaven.Birds, dragonflies, butterflies, or other animals.Feathers are often signs from your deceased loved ones or angelsMany moons ago… I was at the laundromat and during the washing cycle, I popped out to the store. On the way back, I spotted a very shinny coin, thought of my grandmother who had recently passed, and picked it up. Expecting a coin from the United States, imagine my surprise when I found a coin from an Africa country! Sorry, I can’t remember the country.
Other Signs from the Deceased besides DreamsMy stepmom passed on August 20, 2021, which you can read about on my other website in the blog post, Grieving My Stepmom. On August 18, my stepmom was unresponsive in the hospital, I did a three card Lenormand reading asking how she would be in the next seven to ten days. The three cards were:
Cards are from the Cute Little LenormandIntuitively I knew it meant that sad news is coming. What occurred afterwards is really wild to me! A few hours later, I went to the mailbox and pulled out an advertisement for a funeral home. This was the first time I received anything from a funeral home in my eleven years of living in North Carolina.
On the day of her death, I walked back from the mailbox and spotted a pretty feather on the ground. Which I interpreted as a sign that she was okay and saying hello.
Later, it occurred to me how accurate the reading was not only predicating my stepmom’s death, but when it came to the Letter card. Both signs I received about her departure were connected to my walks to the mailbox!
In ConclusionSure, there are other signs from the deceased besides dreams, physical presence, physical items, and readings. You’re welcome to mention your experiences in the comments. If you need help with this topic, please visit my services webpage.

Elephant Dream Meanings
The idea of doing a blog on the elephant dream meanings came about from my recent trip to the San Diego Zoo. What fun it was to watch such magnificent creatures eat, walk about, and live! Elephants have fascinated humans for centuries, which is why it’s not surprising they appear symbolically in our dreams.
General Elephant Dream MeaningsAs always when writing about dream symbols, I will first write about the general meanings. Then go deeper into the elephant symbol to inspire my readers to go beyond the basic messages and exercise their symbolism muscles. Here are nine general interpretations:
Good memory.Family oriented.A long journey. Some type of power. The need for and/or having wisdom.Circumstances require being toughed skin.Time to get dirty and/or play in the mud.Fear of the little things in life because elephants are afraid of mice.Enormous presence, whether that’s physically or in another manner.Deeper Elephant Dream MeaningsGeneral interpretations are a starting point; however, there are literally hundreds of possible interpretations for the elephant symbol. Why? Each dreamer is different. Nobody has the exact same experiences, personality, or obstacles as another human being. This is why it’s important to ponder what a symbol means to you and how it relates to your past, present, or future.
Let’s take two different dream scenes while adding different people’s experiences, situations, and emotions to give greater insight on how this works.
Click for dream interpretation services.Dream OneAn elephant is running down the street.
Anxiety is felt by a person who is running away from their gigantic problems. This is a positive sign for someone who is pondering if it is a wise idea to plan a street fair.A Zookeeper might feel frustrated during this dream because Hillary destroyed the fence and escaped – again! For someone who grew up in Africa or India, this may bring back pleasant memories of playing with elephants. Although for another person it is a nightmare because a loved one was killed while walking down the road by a charging elephant.Dream TwoIn your dream, you’re watching an elephant urinate and defecate.
A caretaker is being shown a future long journey of taking care of an ailing loved one.Someone may feel relief because they are letting go of a huge problem that had pissed them off. This would be upsetting for someone who is sick of being thick-skinned with their verbally abusive boss.In my case this dream would cause me to giggle because it’s an actual memory! When I was seven or eight years old, my sister and I, along with two cute, male teenagers, watched an elephant defecate and urinate at the Paris Zoo. It was amazing and hysterical the substantial amounts of waste the elephant released! My wish is that this post will cause you to ponder over a dream symbol the next time the message is confusing to you, instead of searching for the generic meaning.
