Tiger Dream and Symbol Meanings

The idea for doing a blog on the tiger dream symbol and meanings was inspired by our recent twilight tour at Carolina Tiger Rescue. All the photos in this blog were taken by my life partner, Chris, using his digital camera. Besides tigers, we also saw cougars, caracals, a leopard, and more…

Before I go into possible meanings, it’s important to remind you that the tiger symbol can have hundreds of meanings. Why? Each individual has their own unique dream language based on their upbringing, life experiences, present obstacles, and emotions they’re experiencing in the dream. If the dream has people in it, other symbols, different types of landscapes, and more than one dream scene – we just created thousands of potential interpretations.

Tiger Dream and Symbol Meanings

These are nine general tiger interpretations:

It’s time for you to get in touch with your power. You need to hunt for your livelihood.Someone’s behavior is causing you to feel like prey.Be careful as someone is stalking you.Speak up and be heard.Accept your animal instincts.Release emotions, especially anger.Action is needed.Escape from a negative situation.

Tiger’s Body Parts

Here are possible tiger dream and symbol meanings for:

Tiger’s Eye

Seeing things clearly.Trust your judgement, not other people’s opinions.Represent the tiger’s eye crystal, which is good for protection and overcoming fear.

Stripes

Shows there’s more than one way of doing things.Pay attention to your patterns.Add stripe clothing to your wardrobe.

[image error] Get your free gifts!

Tiger’s Actions

Some of these were mentioned in the general tiger dream and symbol meanings section. But not the following two:

Exercise – tigers are very active; therefore, you might need more exercise to let go of your slump.Water – not all cats enjoy water, yet tigers love it. You may need to start swimming or this dream has information if you’re on a swim team. Water is also about cleanliness and emotions. Click here to learn more about water symbolism.

Tiger Metaphors

Tigers may be used to trigger memories and experiences of the past for dream analysis, such as the following:

Tony the Tiger from Frosted Flakes.Tigger from Winnie the Pooh.Eye of the Tiger song by Survivor.Yours or a loved one’s birthday who was born in the year of the tiger.

Final Thoughts

Now, can you comprehend how there are many possible meanings for tigers? Interpreting your dreams is not as simple as searching the internet or looking in a dream app for a symbol meaning. It takes work and skill to understand it.

Past Life Dreams

Just like past life regressions, past life dreams cannot be scientifically proven as evidence that we lived other lives before. Nevertheless, just because past lives haven’t been validated by science or are against someone’s belief system – doesn’t mean they don’t exist. In this post, I will go over how to tell if you had a past life dream and how dreaming of your past lives assist you in your present life.

Time and space are modes by which we think and not conditions in which we live.

Albert Einstein

When we are in our physical bodies we are trapped in space and time; therefore, it’s difficult to imagine that other planes of time could exist. Once upon a time, I worked as an adviser for psychic lines. The four letter word I constantly heard from clients was when. When is this going to happen, when will I meet someone special, when will he propose to me, when, when, when… These clients had a hard time understanding when channeling information from a higher realm that time doesn’t exist there; hence, it was difficult to give an accurate timing of when.

There are so many theories about time; for instance, all time is happening now – past, present, and future. Whatever your beliefs are about time, a past life dream happens for a reason and can help you.

Past Life Dreams Characteristics

Here are eight signs that you’re having a past life dream:

You know it’s you, but you are another person. The scenery is from a time in the past.People are wearing old-fashioned clothing.Words are being spoken in another language or in an older English format, yet you understand the words.Your family and friends are another ethnicity than in your present life.Belief systems are different than today’s beliefs.Somehow you know the year and it’s in the past. There aren’t any modern conveniences. For example, communication is done by a messenger on horseback, by handwriting a letter, or a rotary phone.

What Past Life Dreams Help With

Some people wonder why we can’t remember all our past lives. One reason is we would have a hard time staying in the present and focusing on this lifetime. Another reason is it could cause mental illness and other hardships. This is why a past life is only revealed when a person needs it. It’s easier to recall past lives through hypnotic regression and during dreams.

Past life dreams can assist you with:

Why you are experiencing an instant attraction or dislike for someone. The reason you are having a certain issue in your life.A talent that came to you naturally without any effort.So-called irrational fears.Characteristic traits.Health problemsAttraction to or revulsion from a certain time period or culture. What you need to work on or accomplish in this lifetime. And more…

Past Life Dream’s Example

Let’s take the common fear of flying. There might be some people in your life to tell you to just get over it. This advice either causes you more stress or anger: especially if you have no idea where this fear came from. Instead, ask for a solution dream. Perhaps, you dream the following:

You are a pilot flying over Germany during World War II preparing to bomb a town. When all of a sudden the plane starts to have engine trouble. You’re terrified with the “what if’s.” What if I get capture and take prisoner by the Nazis? What if I never see my wife and children again? You die instantly as your plane crashes into the ground.

Can you prove that you really were a pilot? Even if you searched history and discover that pilot truly existed – there will always be people who will poo-poo it. What’s important to take from this dream is how it can aid you in overcoming your fear of flying. Sometime just knowing where the fear came from can help you overcome it. Or at least it’s a good beginning to take the steps to work through this issue…

Final Thoughts

Personally, past lives always felt right to me. My Higher Source allows me to make mistakes to learn lessons and some lessons need to be repeated over and over and over… for me to finally comprehend it. I just couldn’t believe that a loving Higher Source would just give me one shot and if I messed up (a religious philosophy) – my soul was damned for eternity. Plus, I’ve had past lives recall in dreams, meditation, and hypnotic regressions. Which is why after becoming an advanced hypnotherapist in the early nineties, I also became certified in past life regression.

You are welcome to leave your past life dreams in the comment. Please note that I do NOT interpret nor tell you what your dream means in the public comment section. Instead, please visit the dream interpretation services page. If you need assistance with your past lives, check out spiritual growth coaching on my other website.

Stop the Recurring Dreams in Three Steps

You’re reading this because you want to stop the recurring dreams from happening, especially if they’re unpleasant. Your dream may keep repeating exactly in the same manner or have the similar theme occurring in many locations and with different people. In this blog, I will give three steps to stop your recurring dreams and a personal dream example.

How to Stop the Recurring Dreams in Three Steps

The timing of these three steps to eliminate recurring dreams will vary for each individual. Why? This quote from my book Learn the Secret Language of Dreams sums it up nicely.

So when does the recurring dream end? When the lesson is learned!

Pamela Cummins

If only we could snap our fingers and get the lesson; however, it’s the journey that helps us grow. Let’s go over the three steps to stop the recurring dreams.

Record the Dreams to Stop the Recurring Dreams

A former boss of mine used to leave messages on his answering machine for his home landline (yeah, I’m dating myself). Why? Because when he did this, he wouldn’t forget what he needed to remember. This is also true with dreams as they can be so fleeting. Recording your dreams assist you to know their details and have a record of them for research.

Even if you can remember your dream, there is power in recording it to release it out of your mind. Not sure what method to use to record your dreams? A PDF copy of the eBook, Got Dreams? Discover Your Ideal Dream Journal is included in this free gift package.

Go Within to Stop the Recurring Dreams

Your dreams are usually about you, in regards to how you truly feel about a person, obstacles, and situations in your life. In your dreams you’re not restricted with time – past, present, or future. Dream symbols are unique to each individual and have many, many, many… different messages.

This is why you need to scrutinize not only the symbols and actions, but also the feelings in your dream. Then determine where this information fits into your life, such as: relationships, career, current obstacles, life direction, desires for change, or past experiences.

Can you see why the timing of these steps varies from person to person? Going within and scrutinizing a dream takes practice. However, there are times when a dream is simple to figure out. While other dreams are baffling and require more work.

Resolve the Issue to Stop the Recurring Dreams

Depending on what the issue is, this step might occur quickly and take forever… Why? Some lessons are easier than other for a person grasp. Some of life’s education may trigger denial, pain, change, and an enormous amount of work. If you fall into the latter, please don’t beat yourself up.

There are times when an issue can’t be resolved right away; however, comprehending the issue may stop the recurring dreams. Then solution dreams can occur to assist in taking the steps to move forward…

What’s Pamela Dreaming?

Throughout my life I had dreams of needing to urinate, while not being able to find an available toilet, or the available ones didn’t have a door with a bunch of people around it. Upon awakening, there’s an urgent need for me to go; therefore, these are environment dreams.

However; about a month ago, I had three recurring dreams using this theme without the need to relieve myself when I awoke. In this case, I was able to stop the recurring dreams without taking the three steps. It occurred naturally with the following dream:

The only toilet stall available didn’t have a door in the Ladies Room. Women and men were walking about. I didn’t care what anyone thought, pulled down my pants, and relieved myself. Ah, that felt good.

I knew exactly what that dream was in reference to. At five months of being dye free, I had just come to the point of feeling totally confident and accepting of my decision to allow my beautiful silver and obsidian hair to grow in. Now, I don’t care what men and women’s opinion of my hair are! To learn more about my precognitive dream for beginning my natural hair color journey, please read Dream Meanings for Hair. On my other website, check out the blog Gray Hair for Self-Acceptance.

In Conclusion

May you be able to stop the recurring dreams in three steps…Perhaps, you will be able to behold these dreams’ gifts?

* If you’re having dreams about a traumatic event(s) that occurred in your past, these are PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) dreams. Please read this blog to learn more about PTSD dreams.

You are welcome to leave your recurring dreams in the comments. However, I do NOT interpret nor tell you what your dreams mean in the comments. If you need assistance with your recurring dreams, please visit the dream interpretation services page.

Air Element in Dreams

This may seem strange to you, but I don’t consider the air element in dreams as a symbol. Rather, I think of it as part of the dream scene and/or background. However, it’s a symbol if you’re inhaling air, filling up a balloon, or on the air as in live radio. Whether a dream scene or symbol, air is usually associated with some type of action.

Air Element in Dreams

These are eight types of air that can occur in your dream:

Cool breeze.Humid air.Gentle breeze.Cold air.Stale air.Wind.Hurricane/typhoon.Tornado.

These eight types of air elements can have thousands upon thousands of dream meanings! Why? Each dreamer is unique depending upon their upbringing, social environment, and current situations. This alone can have many dream meanings. Then add in feelings, actions, people, and other symbols; and the meanings of the air element are endless…

[image error] Get Your Free Gifts

Examples of Air Element in Dreams

Let’s use three examples to showcase how the air elements can be part of a dream scene.

Tornado Dream

You are walking down the street when sirens go off and you see a tornado in a distance. So you run into an office building. You open an office door to see a man surrounded by the wreckage that was caused by the tornado.

Stale Air

A woman dreams that she is climbing stairs to get to the attic; she opens the door, and walks in. Once inside she notices the air is stale with a musky scent. Boxes are piled up and she wonders to herself where the box of toys are.

Gentle Breeze

You’re are hanging out by a poolside, sipping a cocktail while enjoying the scenery and a cool breeze. When out of nowhere, your boss walks over to you. What is she doing here?

Obviously, there are cases when air can be a symbol. For instance, walking against the wind or being in the center of a tornado.

What’s Pamela Dreaming?

After receiving proofs for my upcoming oracle deck about dream analysis, my partner and I went to the store for shipping supplies. The majority of people were wearing masks. Yet, I kept my distance from those who weren’t. Perhaps this is what triggered the following dream:

I was surrounded by people who weren’t wearing masks. This made me feel uncomfortable because they could have Covid-19; therefore, I walked as far away from them as I could.

The next morning I decided to test my proof deck and pull a card for my dream. Here’s the card I pulled:

[image error]Air Card for Dream Analysis

Hmm, that makes sense as I certainly didn’t want to breathe in the air from these mask-less people. What happened later that morning certainly pertained to my tagline, Nighttime Messages, Daytime Wisdom.

Merlin, my cat, went outside with me for his daily outing. While we were hanging out a gigantic bird (possibly a Golden Eagle) landed on top of an enormous tree. It was impossible to see the bird’s facial expression as I could only view his shape; nonetheless, I felt like I was being watched. Then it occurred to me that this bird might be considering making a meal out of Merlin. To protect my kitty, I moved right next to him.

[image error]Merlin Chilling In The Grass

Not only did the card pertain to my dream, it was also a message for the day. Birds are considered to be part of the air element in dreams, tarot, and so forth. Both the dream and my outing with Merlin contain elements of air and a need for protection. Cool beans!

In Conclusion

Hopefully, you now understand how air element in dreams can have many messages. Even my dream can have more meanings beside what I mentioned.

You are welcome to leave your air dream in the comments, although I won’t tell you what it means as that is a paid service. If you are interested in getting the dream interpreted, please visit dream interpretation services. The oracle deck will be available soon at my Dream Mystic Etsy shop

Would You Work for Free?

Another request for a free dream interpretation prompted me to write this post, Would You Work for Free? Personally, I know people deserve to be paid for their time, expertise, services, and products. Free samples, not the whole enchilada, are a nice way to test out something. Yet, I wouldn’t ask or expect something for nothing that clearly cost money.

Thoughts on Would You Work for Free?

It’s amazing how strangers expect me to interpret their dreams for free! Sadly, I know this also happens to other business, which is why I wrote the blog How to Respond When People Ask for Free Services on my other website.

When I receive a stranger’s request about what does their dream means, when I clearly stated that this is a paid service – my first thoughts are can’t you read and would you work for free? How much do you want to bet they would refuse to work for nothing, while feeling insulted, too?

Sample of Would You Work for Free

Message on Facebook

A man reads my blog post, Dreaming of a Deceased Pets where it clearly states at the end that if they need help with their dream I have services. Instead of leaving a comment on the blog, he went to my business Facebook page to message me on how great and helpful the blog was. That I probably get hundreds of requests for free interpretations. Then he went on to leave me a long winded message about his pet, the loss of his beloved pet, his dream, and drum roll, please – what does it mean?

[image error] Meditations

Answer

Honestly, I just scanned his message as my time is precious, while feeling insulted that he ignored my clearly stated message that interpretations are a paid service. Did he expect that by buttering me up with a compliment that I would work for free because he’s just so special?

Response to His Request

I am sorry for the loss of your pet and understand how hard the grieving process is. You’re correct that I get a TON of request in the comment section of my blogs, in social media messages, and even emails for free interpretations. Obviously, I can’t use my time or expertise for free as I have monthly business expenses AND cost of living expenses that must be covered. And quite frankly, like everyone else in the world – I deserved to be paid for my work! If you can’t afford my services, I have plenty of FREE blogs, video/podcast interviews, and even a gift package. There are lower cost items – online classes, meditations, and books. You can purchase an email dream interpretation and I’m also doing discounts on Tuesdays through September 2020 at https://learndreaminterpretation.com/2020/07/20/special-tuesdays/

There wasn’t a response back, giggle, what a shock that was.

Final Thoughts on Working for Free

If we lived in a world that wasn’t based on money and all our needs were met; I would be happy to do free dream interpretations. The name of this website is Learn Dream Interpretation, which is why there’s plenty of free education on the site and a free gift, too. Obviously there’s a cost for products and services.

This last experience has showed me that on my popular blogs, sadly, I will now have to type in large fonts – you’re welcome to leave a comment, although I DO NOT interpret dreams there, instead you can purchase an interpretation here… In the future, if someone messages me on what their dream meaning is, I’ll reply with a link to this blog.

Lastly, please respect the fact that products, services, music, art, books, and so forth are all done by people who are paying bills, just like you are. When you want free, ask yourself, “Would I work for free?”
