Bad School Dream During Coronavirus

There is always a reason for a dream and during this time on the planet many more people are remembering their dreams as we have slowed down in society. Upon awakening, I thought to myself – what a bad school dream I had! During the day, I debated whether or not to share my nightmare since it’s been a while that I did a “What’s Pamela Dreaming” blog. Yet, the purpose of this website is to teach and help people, without further ado…

Pamela’s Bad School Dream

I was in a classroom with younger students, when I thought to myself what am I doing here as I didn’t sign up for this class. Then I looked around to notice that the students were sitting right next to each other without their masks on! Why aren’t these people social distancing and wearing masks were my concerned thoughts. Grabbing my belongings, I stood up, and began to walk away. Out of the blue, some young guy (who gave off the vibe of I’m attracted to you) touched my face and stomach. “Don’t touch me and get away from me,” I responded as I backed away wanting to wash my face and take off my shirt. This jolted me awake.

First Interpretation

My first impression about my bad school dream school was that it was about my own fears about being infected with the coronavirus. Plus a friend, who was tested positive for the virus, was taken by ambulance to the hospital the day before. Hmm, yet schools are about lessons and since it was a new class this had to be some kind of learning that I didn’t plan on. Obviously, none of us consciously signed up for the Covid-19!

As the Day Went On…

While drinking my coffee, I watch a long preview of the upcoming Plandemic Movie sent to me by a client. One of the topics was of how this virus could be all about money. Which reminds me of a chiropractor I knew, who would recommend MRI scans to his patients as he received a nice kickback from the company. Later that day, a friend’s Facebook posted an article about Laurie Garrett, a Pulitzer Prize- winning journalist, who was correct in the impact of HIV, predicted this virus, and gave her future predictions.

In the movie and article, I intuitively felt truths in both; however, not everything felt right. These sides of the coronavirus and what’s on the news reminds me of analyzing a dream. There are almost always more than one interpretation to a dream; nevertheless, it’s also important to allow time to reveal more.

Second Interpretation

This bad school dream isn’t just a message for me, it’s for YOU, too. There’s many unknowns about the coronavirus with much more to learn as it’s a new lesson for us. Society is at different levels of beliefs; not everyone will respect the information, nor care for other’s safety. Lastly, the young guy’s actions in my dream are representing that logic is a part of this lesson; however, we need to face that we have more to learn and TRUST OUR GUT on what is right.

Final Thoughts

Just for today, it’s important to be grateful for what we have instead of focusing on the have nots. If you have food, shelter, and a device to read this blog; you have much more than many on the planet.

Whenever fear appears, acknowledge and feel the emotion while proceeding through it…

Begin to: interpret your dreams, work on your spirituality, write that book, start a blog, create a song, do a project, or whatever your heart’s desire is.

Answers to Dream Interpretation Questions

A college student sent me an email asking for answers to dream interpretation questions for a research paper. Since I enjoy teaching about dream analysis, I was happy to assist her, and answered five questions. The writer in me is always seeking an ideal for this blog and since they were my answers, I decided to use it for a blog. Please note that the student’s questions have been reworded to protect her identity.

Five Answers to Dream Interpretation Questions

Do you believe there are any possible meanings in people’s dreams?

I know there’s meaning behind a dream as I’ve been interpreting dreams for almost three decades. What makes my heart sing is when after I analyze a dream for a client, they respond, “Oh my God, that makes so much sense!” In my own life, I use my dreams’ valuable information all the time.

Can dreams be therapeutic for the dreamer?

Absolutely! Dreams can be therapeutic as they show us how we feel, plus the truth of situations and our relationships. A quote from my book Learn the Secret Language of Dreams sums this up nicely:

“There is no denial in the dreamtime, only subconscious and spiritual truths.”

When we know and work through our issues, we become free. Of course, there is also pleasurable dreams like being on a date with a famous movie star.

Is it possible that dreams teach us a skill or lesson to help protect ourselves for survival?

Yes to all of that! A personal example of this is a precognitive dream I had (twenty-seven years ago) about a man who I felt wanted to control me. Imagine my shock when I met him a few months later and he looked exactly like he did in my dream! Yes, his energy was very controlling and I quickly blew him off. I discover later that he had been married three times and he was only in his late twenties.

If dreams are a part of our memory, why do we forget them?

Can you remember what you had for lunch on the Friday three weeks ago?Perhaps you would if it was a special occasion. Our conscious mind can only hold so much; however, dreams are probably stored in our subconscious mind (I’m not a scientist). Another reason we forget our dreams is they can be very fleeting unless we make an effort by recording them immediately upon awakening. Dreams disappear if we answer the call of nature, our children or pets demand attention, and so forth.

Many ancient civilizations believed that dreams were used as a link between humans and celestial beings, do you believe that dreams can link us to the supernatural?

Yes, yes, and yes! Which is why we have spiritual dreams and visitation from deceased loved ones, angels, Gods, Goddess, spirit guides… It’s easier for those who are dead and higher beings, who’s energy is very high, to meet us in our dreams. Why? Because we, Earthlings need to vibrate at a lower energy in order to stay in a physical form; however, our energy is at a much higher rate when we are asleep and dreaming. During this time, it’s easier for both party’s energies to meet halfway for a visitation.

Conclusion

There you have it, answers to dream interpretation questions. As you can see, dreams are so much more than useless nonsense that takes decades to understand. Even after a long lifetime, there’s always more to learn.

Woodpecker Symbol Dream Meanings

Recently, a Pileated woodpecker has been spotted in our yard that inspired me to write a blog on the woodpecker dream symbol meanings. Woodpeckers are very shy, often hiding from humans. Which is why I was excited when I noticed him while I was washing the dishes and shouted out to my partner to come quickly. We watched him in awe for a few minutes, then took pictures and video! The pictures and video in this blog were captured by my partner on his camera during the woodpecker’s next trips to our home.

Woodpecker Symbol Dream Meanings

Here are eight possible interpretations if a woodpecker appeared in your dream:

Scrutinized a situation in your life.Stop picking on yourself or someone else.Continue to search for the treasure that is buried within yourself, another person, or a circumstance in your life.Find the truth by picking it apart.Work hard to bring home the bacon.Establish boundaries to stop allowing others to tear you apart.Speak your truth to get to the heart of the matter.Trust your senses.

Of course, those interpretations aren’t written in stone. Please keep in mind that your feelings, past experiences, and present situations/obstacles impacts your dream’s message. A woodpecker symbol dream meanings could have thousands of messages when you add in: people, other symbols, different types of actions, and where the location is.

Here are three different types of feeling with the past, present, and an obstacle mixed in that would impact dream’s meaning:

Shame might be representing how you felt when you saw an old schoolmate who you used to pick on.Anger may stem from your work situation and having to seek another job.Hope for the future would occur if you are currently working on clearing up your debt.

Now I’m going to play around with this dream by using two different examples each for: people, other symbols, different actions, and location.

Your mother in the dream could mean that you feel she’s nagging you.A coach may symbolize to keep going for your goal.



Other Symbols



If the woodpecker pulls out your childhood teddy bear, this may mean that you need to heal issues from your family tree.A pen in the woodpecker’s beak could be encouraging you to continue writing your book.



Different Actions



An angel appearing next to the woodpecker might be a message to go within to expand your spirituality.A cat climbing up the tree may mean to take flight from your enemies.



Location



If the woodpecker is in your yard this could be symbolic to examine the health of the tree.The dream taking place in the desert is showing you that no matter how bleak things may seem, be patient as a miracle is about to take place.

Spiritual Chapter Dreams

It’s been on my list to write a blog about spiritual chapter dreams, which is a subcategory within the spiritual dreams category. Recently, I interpreted a dream for a client that was a perfect example for spiritual chapter dreams! She was kind enough to allow me to use her dream for this blog in the hopes that it may help someone.

In case, you have no idea of what I mean by spiritual dreams, here’s a section from my book Learn the Secret Language of Dreams for a clearer definition:

What makes spiritual dreams stand out is that there could be spiritual characters, like Jesus or Buddha. In spiritual dreams you will be afraid to do something, yet will go through the experience. The last element of these dreams is that you will be leaving one chapter to advance to the next level in your life.

Spiritual Chapter Dreams



Client’s First Dream Scene

I was in a large room, like a large auditorium. There were a lot of people in there. I was sitting on the front row in a metal fold up chair, when drums started playing. We were taking part in a guided meditation. While the drums were playing, I started swaying in rhythm with the beat. Then I fell to the floor, eyes half open (kind of like a trance state). I could half see out but I had no control of my body, I was just jerking and swaying, kind of like a fish on the floor. I was half up under the woman’s chair that was leading the meditation, and she said to me “get in the egg shape”. I balled up in the egg shape (fetal position) except for one leg and I heard someone say “Kathy, let it go” (Kathy is our 9 year old daughter). When I finally got completely in the fetal position, she touched me and said, “Now you can be reborn.”

Client’s Second Dream Scene

After she said that I was standing on a ledge of a cliff in a horseshoe shaped canyon looking up at several waterfalls. Then all of a sudden the water falls stopped and started flowing backwards. When they did I started shouting at the top of my lungs. I was so full of Spirit and energy I wanted to explode. I just kept on shouting over and over. I saw a guy I was friends with years ago that I used to attend church with, and we fist bumped.

Then I saw men that looked like Native Americans wrestling and rolling off of the cliffs, but they were not getting hurt. I then turned and saw a large door in the side of the canyon, and I went in. Inside there were children preparing a lot of food for a large meal. They were arguing and fighting among themselves, and I told each one to love each other and to have peace, and I spoke some proverbs that I really wish I could remember. They just stood there awestruck and agreed with me and went back to work.

By this time I felt like I was glowing. I walked back outside and on the edge of the cliff was a gazebo. Inside were 6 or 7 people dressed in traditional oriental attire that was red and black with what looked like Asian writing all over them. Standing in the center of them was someone that was solid gold with black Asian writing all over them. I stood there staring at them and I remember feeling I wanted to stand in the center of them really bad. Then I woke up.

Interpretation for Client’s Spiritual Chapter Dreams

The first paragraph is about listening to your own beat and going with the flow. The egg shape is symbolic for birth and beginnings (later validated by the teacher’s words). Your daughter is symbolic for your inner child and/or inner female (creative, emotional, and intuitive side).

In a nutshell – this dream scene is about letting go of old ways, especially spirituality since it was in a spiritual atmosphere. And being reborn in spirituality, yet also a new YOU!

Your second dream scene is the process of being reborn! The waterfalls literally cleaned you from the outside and inside. Your shouting was not only an emotional release, but an energetic release to allow a new way of living and spirituality into your life.

Fist pumping with your old friend is symbolic that it’s okay to test out different traditions and spirituality. This is reaffirmed with you wrestling (Native American symbolism) with testing out different viewpoints on spirituality and ways of life and not getting hurt. Perhaps falling off the cliffs represents going to hell?

The children in your dream represent your inner child preparing to be fed the new fruits (food) of life. While their fighting and arguing are symbolic for your own inner child; however, intuitively I feel it’s for other childish people in your life. Loving yourself and others is the key to peace and feeling the glow within.

The gazebo on the cliff’s edge is symbolic that you will be safe and protected when you go out on the outer edge of spirituality. At the ending of the dream with the people dressed in the Oriental attire means for you to test out different types of spirituality to help you get grounded and eventually centered in higher levels of spirituality.

In Conclusion

When a Dream Interpretation is Accurate

A potential client wanted to know how an interpretation is factual, once I showed him this, then he would allow me to apply it to his dream. My response was, “I can’t scientifically prove it, yet my clients will know when a dream interpretation is accurate.” Are you curious how to know when an analysis is right? Then keep reading…

An expert dream interpreter will have: many years of experience, understand how one symbol can have many different meanings, what dream categories it’s in, why different feelings impact the dream’s message, how the past, present, and future effects a dream. Plus the ability to be able to put all these pieces of the dream together for an analysis. In my case, having psychic abilities is a benefit.

Yet, expert interpreters are not you! They aren’t in your skin, nor do they know about your upbringing, life experiences, relationships, and present life circumstances. Therefore, you have the best ability to know if the analysis is correct as long as you keep an open mind, while not allowing denial to block the interpretation.

Six Ways a Dream Interpretation is Accurate



There’s an inner ding that goes off inside of you that this analysis feels right. An analogy to compare this to is when searching for a place to live, you will know which one is wrong, and the right one for you to live in.It fits into what is happening within your life right now.The interpretation assists you in solving a problem.This relates to other dreams you have been having.Your analysis ties in with to events that happened in the past.Lastly, time often proves that the interpretation is correct as certain events occur or your denial has dissipated.

Often a dream has one or more possible interpretations. This is why I prefer to give my clients a couple of different interpretations to allow them to decide which one fits into their lives. Sometimes, all of the interpretations are correct. Who said, deciphering the secret language of dreams was easy.

Uses of An Accurate Dream Interpretation

Okay, so what’s the point of comprehending your dreams’ true meanings? This is the major reason I love interpreting my clients dreams is to use its wise information: to conquer issues, make better choices, accelerate their personal and spiritual growth, and to have more joyful lives!

Books Inspired By Her Dreams

Anyone who knows me is aware of how much I love to read, especially fiction. When searching for yet another eBook to read on Smashwords, I discovered Mary Marian, writing as M. Marinan there. Her series Across Time & Space seemed interesting; therefore, I decided to download the first eBook The Eternity Stone (that is free) and give it a try. After a few chapters, I knew that Mary was a very gifted writer, so I stopped reading and purchased the entire series. Upon finishing the series, I then bought every eBook she ever wrote; yes, her books are that awesome!

Besides Mary’s excellent writing style, what intrigued me about this author was the majority of the M. Marian’s eBooks appeared in her dreams beforehand. At the end of her eBooks, she would describe her dreams that assisted in her ideas to be used in the storyline. You know this dream interpreter just loved this fact! When did you start writing and what are your preferred genres?

I remember writing (and illustrating) travel journals as a kid, but I never thought of myself as a writer, more as a reader or artist. Then about ten years ago I’d just finished reading an unsatisfying novel – one where the characters had been unconvincing and kind of stupid, to be honest. I remember thinking, no one acts like that, and I could do better. I’d just had a really vivid dream about an underground city, and combined with the idea of ‘what if I met some time-travellers?’ I decided to see what I could come up with. That first story became The Eternity Stone, but it was published about 7 years after I began writing.

As for genre, I usually write young adult science fiction and/or fantasy – sometimes both in the same story. Sci-fi and fantasy because that’s what I enjoy reading most, and young adult because I’ve been told it’s a good fit with my writing style. I guess I write PG-13, with mild adult themes.
