Book Review: Archer's Voice
Archer's Voice
by Mia Sheridan
When Bree Prescott arrives in the sleepy, lakeside town of Pelion, Maine, she hopes against hope that this is the place where she will finally find the peace she so desperately seeks. On her first day there, her life collides with Archer Hale, an isolated man who holds a secret agony of his own. A man no one else sees.
Archer's Voice is the story of a woman chained to the memory of one horrifying night and the man whose love is the key to her freedom. It is the story of a silent man who lives with an excruciating wound and the woman who helps him find his voice. It is the story of suffering, fate, and the transformative power of love.
THIS IS A STANDALONE SIGN OF LOVE NOVEL, INSPIRED BY SAGITTARIUS. New Adult Contemporary Romance: Due to strong language and sexual content, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18.
Lori's thoughts: I read this book at a very difficult time in my life. I was going through some heavy stuff emotionally. So perhaps I should have saved this to read until I was in a better place. It took me longer than normal to get through the book and I had heard such beautiful things about the story that I wanted to read it. What I liked about the book was the storyline, the characters, and the writing. The writing was flawless and I really liked the book. There were some things that I could have done without... but that's just one person's opionion. Archer Hale is a beautiful character and Bree is great, too. I love a book with a dog. :) I look forward to reading more from Mia Sheridan.

Book Review: Not You, It's Me
Not You It's Me
by Julie Johnson
Gemma Summers is unlucky in love.
She’s known it since third grade, when her first crush blew a spitball into her hair, and a decade-long string of bad dates, boring sex, and abysmal morning-afters has done nothing to improve her prospects.
But when a random radio call-in contest lands her courtside tickets to the hottest playoff game of the season, Gemma’s luck may finally be on the upswing — even if it doesn’t exactly seem like it when the dreaded jumbotron kiss-cam lands on her and her date, who’s too busy ignoring her to notice…
Chase Croft doesn’t date.
Despite ample opportunity as Boston’s most eligible bachelor, the reformed bad-boy would rather put his energy into taking over the family business than weed through a world of gold-diggers to find an honest woman.
But when the beautiful girl in the seat next to him becomes a courtside spectacle at the hands of her loser boyfriend, he can’t help but step in and save the day.
One kiss. Two strangers. No strings attached.
The only problem is, Chase is used to getting whatever he wants. And after kissing Gemma once, he knows one thing…
He wants more.
NOT YOU IT’S ME is a full-length, standalone contemporary romance about a girl who doesn’t believe in love… and the man who changes her mind. Due to sexy-times and strong language, it is intended for readers 17 and up.
TeriLyn's thoughts: **Not You It's Me generously provided by the author in exchange for an honest review**
One statement always holds true with reading a Julie Johnson book: it's going to be a hilarious, sweet, sexy ADVENTURE. I fell head over heels for these characters so easily as Julie's writing never fails to suck me right into her worlds. Like Chase Croft perfectly gives "good grin", Not You It's Me perfectly gives great contemporary romance.
There were so many elements present in the story with which to fall in love. Julie Johnson masterfully leads readers from the point of view of her slightly neurotic, zany heroine – Gemma Summers, through the adventures of Gemma once she meets Chase Croft. From start to finish, I laughed out loud at this woman’s antics. A few times she made rash decisions I normally wouldn’t be able to stand however the beauty of this author’s character development exposes these flaws and atones for them in an honest,true-to-the-character kind of way making her quite relatable. Her feelings for Chase from the very beginning confuse and excite her and the way she fits into his life really worked for the story. Gemma is an independent, head strong girl with some obvious issues. Her reluctance to Chase even as she’s gravitating toward him was a natural as it was comical. In addition, she has two friends who play secondary roles in the story both of whom any girl would adore. There are definite hilarious moments with these girls.
Aside Gemma’s crazy, I LOVE CHASE CROFT. This was a great hero. He’s subdued yet overwhelming when it comes to emotions. Another testament to the exquisitely natural writing of this author.Chase’s effect on me as a reader was heavy but not in an overtly arrogant way but rather a bossy, sexy, quiet kind of way. He has charm and charisma rivaling the best of book heroes and his mind gets set on the quirky Gemma. The way he handles her is seriously swoon worthy. Chase has darkness he fears will hurt Gemma but he can’t seem to stay away. Their perfectly suited trading smart remark for smart remark with their incredible banter. So many moments between Chase and Gemma had me smiling happily.
Secondary characters, in addition to Gemma’s girls, provide comic relief and villainous plot devices while bringing Gemma and Chase closer. Gemma’s mother deserves a shout out for her comical wisdom and no-nonsense approach to her daughter’s tantrums. Another character introduced in the story was so relatable and really cute with a great story of why we met her pops up in the prose and I hope we get more from this author regarding this character.
Their relationship moves as quickly as the plot but it never seems rushed or forced. It’s fun and different and gets a little crazy. The comedy never stops. The wit this author possesses in her writing makes me gleeful to be a Julie Johnson fan. Her anecdotes and fluid one-liners pair perfectly with the butterfly inducing romance and sexy passion mixed together with heart pumping adventure Not You It’s Me left a lasting impression. Just like all of Julie Johnson’s books. She writes exquisitely. She makes her characters real and human with vulnerabilities and strengths she exposes, exploits, and capitalizes upon. It was easy for me to spend an afternoon in Boston with this book. I’ve been a fan since Johnson’s debut novel and with each new release I become even more awe struck at the stories she writes. I’ll look forward to the next one.

Giveaway and Blitz: King of Hearts
Happy Release Day to L.H. Cosway and her new book King of Hearts! The King of Hearts release week event begins tomorrow. Be on the lookout for what the blogs have to say about Oliver King's story! Take a sneak peek into the book below and make sure to enter the giveaway! Good luck!
Welcome to the City, London’s most prestigious square mile, where finance reigns and Oliver King is a rising prince. I used to rule the world. There might be wolves on Wall Street, but there were crocodiles in Canary Wharf. Some of us craved money. Some of us craved power.I liked money, and power had its advantages, but what I really wanted was to excel, to surpass the men who came before me. I never cared much for love and romance until I met Alexis.I could feel it the very moment she walked into the interview, with her outspoken charm and vivacious personality. She cast all the others in shadow, made me laugh when life held no humour. Our friendship should have remained professional, but it wasn’t long before the lines started to blur. You know what they say about the best laid plans of mice and men? Well, I never foresaw where my plans would lead, and only in my darkest hour did I finally see the light…You can have all the money and prestige in the world and still be the poorest man alive. And love, well, I hate to use a tired old cliché, but love can be the thing that truly sets you free.
What he said made me curious, so I went on, “What do you do to deal with the stress?”
He gave me a wan smile, and there was something in his expression that struck me as sad somehow. Rubbing at his chin, he answered, “Hmmm, when I’m stressed out…a nice glass of top shelf whiskey usually does the trick.”
“That makes sense,” I said and walked around his desk before taking a seat in front of him. “You know, I always thought it was poor people who did drugs, to escape the bleakness of their realities. Now I’m thinking maybe the practice is most common at the top and the bottom of the ladder. Perhaps the best place to be is somewhere in the middle.”
“Not necessarily. I’m at the top. Do I look high to you?”
The deadpan way in which he said it made me laugh. I leaned forward and teased, “I’m not sure. Let me have a look at your pupils.” Surprising me, King rose from his seat, walked around his desk and came to kneel in front of me. Before I knew it his face was mere inches from mine.
“Go ahead,” he said, voice low.
Whoa, Oliver King’s face right up close…I wasn’t sure what to do with that. I guess he didn’t realise the effect he had on this very non-gay lady, because he seemed entirely unselfconscious. His eyes were beautiful, his lashes long and golden, his skin smooth with a hint of stubble around his jaw, and his lips were just…I had no words. Sculpted and masculine was probably the only way I could think to describe them.
I realised I was staring at those lips a little too closely when my eyes flicked back to his. A moment ago he was smiling, but now that smile was transforming into a thoughtful frown.
I cleared my throat. “Your pupils look fine.”
King exhaled a small breath and I watched as his attention went from my eyes to my cheeks, nose, chin, and then finally to my lips. He looked like he was about to say something when suddenly Gillian’s voice filled the room.
“Mr King, Jenson Gellar is on the phone. Shall I put him through?”

Book Review: Fighting Silence
Fighting Shadows (On the Ropes #2)
by Aly Martinez
I come from a family of fighters. I always thought I’d follow in their shadows, becoming unstoppable in the ring. That changed the day I saved the life of a woman I loved, but could never have.
My brother hailed me as a hero, and my reward was a wheelchair.
Paralyzed, my life became an inescapable nightmare.
Until I met her.
Ash Mabie had a heart-stopping smile and a laugh that numbed the rage and resentment brewing inside of me. She showed me that even the darkest night still had stars, and it didn’t matter one bit that you had to lie in the weeds to see them.
I was a jaded asshole who fell for a girl with a knack for running away. I couldn’t even walk but I would have spent a lifetime chasing her.
Now, I’m on the ropes during the toughest battles of my life.
Fighting the shadows of our past.
Fighting to reclaim my future.
Fighting for her.
TeriLyn's thoughts: **Fighting Shadows generously provided in exchange for an honest review.**
These Page boys know how to melt hearts. Fighting Shadows comes as the second installment of the new adult series, On the Ropes, by Aly Martinez featuring the second eldest Page brother, Flint. As such, the story picks up where the first book leaves off before the epilogue with Flint in a very precarious condition in his life both from his physical struggles but also mentally. Once again I found myself swept away by the heart warming stories this author tells. Her writing easily flows across the pages creating funny, uplifting, and intriguing plots.
Flint Page comes from a broken home, to say the least. Raised by his older brother without the nurture or care from a mother and the tragic circumstances leading to where he is presently provide him conflicting, immature thoughts of jealousy, love, and anger without any way to release it. Flint's a complicated guy with a complicated life but when streaks of his humorous, bantering, witty, self come out in the face of Ash Mabie we see a whole new side of him. Ash Mabie whose past also hasn't been all roses and chocolates is quite the female lead character. Her charm, wit, and humor light up the pages as she convinces Flint he's not as surly as he pretends. Their youthful love sets the tone for some misunderstanding and naivety to create conflict. As the book goes on, their relationship in a myriad of ways I can't begin to divulge without spoiling. But what I loved about these changes was how the author still kept them grounded in the personalities that drew them to each other in the first place. Their love was fun and honest with real fears and vulnerabilities the reader can identify with.
This series boasts a slew of secondary characters, including Till and Eliza from book one, who give the story extra personality. Quarry Page the youngest of the Page brothers has some circumstances we learn about in this book that I look forward to reading about next. I love that we'll return to see the rest of this cast of characters and how their lives move forward from their own books. Aly Martinez easily draws her readers into her story. She makes her characters surly and angry yet so quirky and funny. She romanticizes those traits by putting her characters in situations where they're forced to see what they think their missing. Through the trials and tribulations of both Flint and Ash, in Fighting Shadows we see a couple destined for triumph...eventually. The road this author takes us on to get there proves fun along the way. And just as the first book, Aly Martinez gives us a really sweet epilogue to keep us coming back for more.

“Do you know why you’re so fascinated with my tie?” he asked huskily, his eyes pinned on her. He practically fucked her with his gaze. His was so intense. His confidence set her on fire. It torched a path across her body, sizzling her skin.
“Tell me,” she said, eager for more of his words. “Since you seem to know me so well. Tell me.”
He brushed the backs of his fingers against her cheek. Oh god, she was dying for him to kiss her. She was so eager to feel those lips. To taste him.
He grasped a wrist with one hand, yanking it up his chest, and loosely wrapping the end of his tie around her hand. “You want me to tie you up.”
“How do you know that?” she asked, her voice stripped to the bones. He knew her. He read her. He could sense everything she wanted. He crowded her against the wall. Heaven Leigh belted out her song on stage. The inky black of the backstage cloaked them.
“Am I wrong?” he asked, arching an eyebrow. “If I’m wrong, tell me and I’ll walk away.”
She shook her head. “Are you going to take it off? Tie me up?” she asked in a voice that barely sounded like it belonged to her. It belonged to the part of her that had been untended for years.
He grinned wickedly. “No. I have other ways to tie you up,” he said, and in a flash, he gripped her wrists in his big strong hands, wrapping his fingers around her, binding her as he yanked her hands behind her back. Heat flared in her body, spinning through her, settling between her legs. Her gorgeous, sexy panties were so damp right now they were useless.
She ached for his touch. And she could do nothing but wait for it since she was his hostage.
He was so strong, she couldn’t wriggle away if she wanted to. His thumbs dug into her wrist bones, pinning her hands above her ass, rendering her helpless. The pressure from the twist in her arms bordered on pain, and felt oh so good.
His body was aligned with hers. There was no space between the two of them. Only breath. Only words as he spoke in a bare, husky voice, “Do you know what else I’ve been thinking about all day?”
She shook her head.
He inched closer, his mouth mere centimeters from hers. Her lips parted, so ready for him. God, she needed him to kiss her. Needed it badly. He was making her wait for it. Making her nearly ask for it. His mouth hovered so close she wanted to dart out her tongue and lick him. Draw him to her. His forehead brushed hers, and her breath fluttered.
Somehow, she managed a please.
“Please kiss you?” he asked. “Is that what you want me to do?”
She nodded, too turned on to form another word. Even a yes.
“That’s exactly what I’ve been thinking about all day,” he whispered.
Then he kissed her and he wasn’t gentle. He wasn’t sweet. He was rough as he claimed her mouth, kissing hard. She moaned as he drew her bottom lip between his teeth, then fused his mouth to hers.
His stubble rubbed against her cheek. She’d have whisker burn later. She longed for the redness, the proof, the evidence of a bruising kiss.
The kiss lit her up. She felt it everywhere. In her toes, in her hair, in her belly.
And, deliciously, between her legs.
Where she ached for him. She angled her hips closer as he kissed, desperately seeking contact from him. God, how she wanted him. And she didn’t even know his name.

Book Review: Priest
Priest
by Sierra Simone
There are many rules a priest can't break.
A priest cannot marry. A priest cannot abandon his flock. A priest cannot forsake his God.
I've always been good at following rules.
Until she came.
My name is Tyler Anselm Bell. I'm twenty-nine years old. Six months ago, I broke my vow of celibacy on the altar of my own church, and God help me, I would do it again.
I am a priest and this is my confession.
***
***Priest is a standalone, full-length novel with an HEA. For mature audiences only.***
TeriLyn's thoughts: *Priest generously provided in exchange for an honest review.**
Priest hails as my first book by Sierra Simone and certainly will not be my last. Ms. Simone's writing is on point keeping me intrigued throughout the entire story of Poppy and Father Tyler Bell. It's hot and dirty juxtaposed with clean and pure. I absolutely loved it.
This book explores the intimacy of forbidden love through a unique perspective. Told strictly from Father Bell’s point of view,
Priest romanticizes sexual dominance and fantasy through the eyes of a holy being. The relationship between Father Bell and Poppy is mult-faceted. Intensity looms throughout the pages from their first encounter. Sexual tension heats up the story with such vividly accurate representations of the struggle Poppy and Father Bell feel around each other. Romantic gestures and expressions of love leap from the text into your heart as each character, especially Father Bell, fights to understand the magnitude of what they mean to each other while the plot moves forward fluidly easily making you want to indulge in everything Father Bell has to offer. Poppy is a character who’s fierce and headstrong forging a path of righteousness for herself; a righteous that comes from giving and feeling free. Her tornado way of being whips rights into Father Bell’s life turning his carefully constructed way of life completely upside down. The journey they indulge in together was beautifully executed with the naughty.
Within the pages of Preist I discovered an intense kind of love that made me feel. That’s what I want most of all from the books I love – to feel, to understand, to sympathize, to love. And while their love is forbidden I did feel its purity. There were many times you could feel the wholeness of them together shining through, thanks to the writing of Sierra Simone with Father Bell’s inner dialogue, his actions and reactions. For a while I was worried about the lust factor rather than a love factor but Simone sold me on the characters feelings for each other. The simplicity of the story, the base desire we as humans have towards our mates, Sierra Simone captured perfectly. I’m highly impressed with author’s ability to make Erotica sacred to the point where you’re wholly believing in the soul-deep purity of the characters love. Sierra Simone, Poppy, and Father Bell have made a fan out of me.

Book Review: The Song of David
The Song of David
by Amy Harmon
She said I was like a song. Her favorite song. A song isn’t something you can see. It’s something you feel, something you move to, something that disappears after the last note is played.
I won my first fight when I was eleven years old, and I’ve been throwing punches ever since. Fighting is the purest, truest, most elemental thing there is. Some people describe heaven as a sea of unending white. Where choirs sing and loved ones await. But for me, heaven was something else. It sounded like the bell at the beginning of a round, it tasted like adrenaline, it burned like sweat in my eyes and fire in my belly. It looked like the blur of screaming crowds and an opponent who wanted my blood.
For me, heaven was the octagon.
Until I met Millie, and heaven became something different. I became something different. I knew I loved her when I watched her stand perfectly still in the middle of a crowded room, people swarming, buzzing, slipping around her, her straight dancer’s posture unyielding, her chin high, her hands loose at her sides. No one seemed to see her at all, except for the few who squeezed past her, tossing exasperated looks at her unsmiling face. When they realized she wasn’t normal, they hurried away. Why was it that no one saw her, yet she was the first thing I saw?
If heaven was the octagon, then she was my angel at the center of it all, the girl with the power to take me down and lift me up again. The girl I wanted to fight for, the girl I wanted to claim. The girl who taught me that sometimes the biggest heroes go unsung and the most important battles are the ones we don’t think we can win.
TeriLyn's thoughts: Reading The Song of David provided me a truly unique reading experience. Having read after The Law of Moses I feel like I was given a beautiful gift by this incredibly talented author. Amy Harmon wrote two poignantly brave, incredible stories. These are love stories so evocative, unique, and powerful. The Song of David is a book a feel like I could pick up again right away just to experience the glory of it all over. It's so difficult to describe the power of emotion I felt while reading this but it was there throughout the whole book.
The Song of David forces to open your minds and hearts to not only the characters of David and Millie but again to Moses and Millie's brother Henry. Each one plays a vital role in the love story surrounding David and Millie. Chills coursed my body throughout the entire book as I read on the edge of my seat. Heartache slammed my chest as I turned the pages. Tears escaped my eyes as I smiled through the joy. A gambit of feelings from a story so evocative I can't stop thinking about it. David "Tag" Taggert, Millie & Henry Anderson, and Moses Wright are characters I will never forget; a true testament to the powerful, gripping prose of Amy Harmon. She made me a fully functioning supporter of Tag Team fully invested in the words she so eloquently placed on the pages. Fully aware of the devastation and joy she would undoubtedly unleash on my heart, I went full steam ahead and loved every second.
There's so much to say about The Song of David. It's a book I feel like I could analyze to the enth degree for a term paper. I feel like I could type for hours now urging you to read David's story in the truly unique way that it's told. I can't go into details, as my friend Jxxx says: "this is a story you need to let unfold". You should read it and savor it. Amy Harmon has a beautiful gift she's allowing us to witness. I cherished it and savored it with The Law of David. She's one the best kinds of emotional masochists with raw, honest feelings pouring from every word. This was a reading experience I'll never forget and can't wait to experience all over again in the future. Please open your heart and do yourself a huge favor in your reading life by reading this book. Just do it after you've finished The Law of Moses.

Book Review: The Law of Moses
The Law of Moses
by Amy Harmon
If I tell you right up front, right in the beginning that I lost him, it will be easier for you to bear. You will know it’s coming, and it will hurt. But you’ll be able to prepare.
Someone found him in a laundry basket at the Quick Wash, wrapped in a towel, a few hours old and close to death. They called him Baby Moses when they shared his story on the ten o’clock news – the little baby left in a basket at a dingy Laundromat, born to a crack addict and expected to have all sorts of problems. I imagined the crack baby, Moses, having a giant crack that ran down his body, like he’d been broken at birth. I knew that wasn’t what the term meant, but the image stuck in my mind. Maybe the fact that he was broken drew me to him from the start.
It all happened before I was born, and by the time I met Moses and my mom told me all about him, the story was old news and nobody wanted anything to do with him. People love babies, even sick babies. Even crack babies. But babies grow up to be kids, and kids grow up to be teenagers. Nobody wants a messed up teenager.
And Moses was messed up. Moses was a law unto himself. But he was also strange and exotic and beautiful. To be with him would change my life in ways I could never have imagined. Maybe I should have stayed away. Maybe I should have listened. My mother warned me. Even Moses warned me. But I didn’t stay away.
And so begins a story of pain and promise, of heartache and healing, of life and death. A story of before and after, of new beginnings and never-endings. But most of all...a love story.
Teri Lyn's thoughts: The Law of Moses is my second book penned by Amy Harmon. I've had this book on my Kindle since it's release and with the recent release of The Song of David and the rave reviews it's getting I had to start. Now I'm sorry I waited so long. I devoured The Law of Moses and all it's subtle nuances. There were times I read certain passages and paragraphs two or three times to savor the text of this beautifully poignant story.
This is one review I'm completely at a loss for writing. The plot of this story was completely unexpected and I wasn't prepared for the heavy dose of emotion I received. I had no idea what the book was about in terms of the plot or who the characters would be. It didn't matter because what I read blew me away. I believed, I lingered on text and beautiful words. I wanted to live inside the pages. Having read and loved Making Faces by this author I expected excellent writing, angst, and an honest connection between two souls - I got these elements in spades.
The tale of the love between Moses and Georgia devastated me over and over again. It was sad and poetic and overwhelming emotional. The force of their story creeps up on you in a way Amy Harmon perfectly executes making you feel the blunt force of loss and yearning and love and friendship running so deep it hurts. This love is complicated and messy but it's so great. It's monumental, rocking both Georgia and Moses at their very cores right along with the reader. The story inspires, making you think twice about the greats in your own life reminding you to hold onto those we love as life is a very slippery slope.
I can't tell you anything else about The Law of Moses you have to read it and truly experience this story for yourself, savor it, believe in it and the message it sends. It's totally worth it, told from both the points of views of Moses and Georgia. If you like emotionally heavy, poignant, beautiful love stories - don't miss this one. The Law of Moses is a love story unlike any I've read before. I can't wait to see what Amy Harmon has in store next with the The Song of David.

Book Review: Ride Steady
Ride Steady (Chaos #3)
by Kristen Ashley
The ride of her life . . .
Once upon a time, Carissa Teodoro believed in happy endings. Money, marriage, motherhood: everything came easy---until she woke up to the ugly truth about her Prince Charming. Now a struggling, single mom and stranded by a flat tire, Carissa's pondering her mistakes when a vaguely familiar knight rides to her rescue on a ton of horsepower.
Climb on and hold tight . . .
In high school, Carson Steele was a bad boy loner who put Carissa on a pedestal where she stayed far beyond his reach. Today, he's the hard-bodied biker known only as Joker, and from the way Carissa's acting, it's clear she's falling fast. While catching her is irresistible, knowing what to do with her is a different story. A good girl like Carissa is the least likely fit with the Chaos Motorcycle Club. Too bad holding back is so damned hard. Now, as Joker's secrets are revealed and an outside threat endangers the club, Joker must decide whether to ride steady with Carissa---or ride away forever . . .
Teri Lyn's thoughts: **Ride Steady generously provided by the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.**
My very good friend, Irene, once said Kristen Ashley books are like chicken soup - good for the soul. She nailed it with that feeling because it rings true for each and every KA book I read. That feeling of feeling good, smiling through a book, laughing at the utterly goofy hijinx of lovable characters and just really loving their story are all elements KA continually provides.
Ride Steady hails as book three in the Chaos series. Carson "Joker" Steele and Carissa Teodora will knock your Kristen Ashley-loving socks off. All the characters making up the Chaos MC return in Ride Steady while the two main characters find their way to a rock solid relationship. What a journey it was: typical Kristen Ashley fluffy goodness. Her MC characters always find a fun way into my reading heart.
We first meet Carson Steele as a boy living in a house of abuse and neglect. A boy who finds solace watching the comradery he sees from the Chaos MC run by Kane “Tack” Allen. A boy who’s in love with golden girl Carissa Teodoro in his high school but feels he could have never her because there’s darkness swarming inside him.
Carson and Carissa shared some smiles and idle remarks to one another in high school both feeling something but too young to act on the sparks. It isn’t until much later when Carissa finds herself stranded on the side of the road when a hero on a Harley comes to her rescue. Carson Steele, now Chaos MC member “Joker”,and Carissa Teodoro immediately feel the connection they once felt to each other even though Carissa doesn’t recognize Joker as Carson.
As their story progresses many lovely, heartfelt moments pass as Joker tries to do what he feels best Carissa and she tries to pounce him. There’s hilarity and the usual antics from the women in KA books while heroes smile their pretty smiles and laugh at how funny each of the women are. Carissa Teodoro having waded her own fair share of crap in her life goes after what she wants full stop. And she wants Joker, between homemade pies, and cheap cute shoes we see her breaking down his walls. This was a fabulous Kristen Ashley heroine. Everything about her was easy to love. And Carson Steele made it high on my list of favorite KA heroes. He’s patient and kind and WISE beyond his years. He’s content and so happy in his contentment. He knows what he needs, when he get sit, he hold onto it and knows that he came out the other side of his horrible start to life in a good, clean way.
There’s a lot to love in Ride Steady. There’s so much goodness and fun in the Chaos MC. Kristen Ashley reminds me to laugh. She always highlights the face of her hero’s laughs because it’s something we should all do in our relationships. Laugh together. This is not dark and tortured MC, if you looking for gritty and dark this definitely isn’t for you. It’s a band of brothers who believe in goodness and family, they keep on the straight side of the law but protect what and who they believe in. They’re a group of protective bad ass bikers who are one big happy badass family. But the emphasis on an MC club life just isn’t the normal gritty MC. If you like Kristen Ashley you’ll enjoy. If you’re looking to enjoy a MC story, this isn’t where to find the grit. I recommend Ride Steady if you’re a fan of Kristen Ashley who’s read the others in the series. It could be read as standalone but you’d miss the fun of the rest of case of characters leading up Joker and Carissa.

Release: Sinfully Mine
She was forbidden.
I didn’t care.
As my best friend’s little sister, Macey Hale was
off-limits, but the girl was tempting as sin and forbidden as fuck. I wish I
could say that stopped me. I wish I could tell you I behaved like a gentleman.
I didn’t.
When she waltzes back into my life with that same spark I
fell for, looking every bit the beautiful woman I knew she’d grow into, I have
to force myself to remember I’m different from the man she once knew. I’m
colder. Harder. And for good reason.
With my heart on lockdown and my hands aching to touch her,
I set out to prove that I can keep myself in check this time.
No strings. No attachments.
And definitely no falling for her again.
If you love steamy romance, you won't want to miss this
older brother's best friend romance.
This is book two in
the Lessons with the Dom series, following The Gentleman Mentor. Both are
complete standalone novels featuring sexy Dominant men you're sure to fall in
love with. Enjoy!
