{Almost Wordless Wednesday} Lifetime Supply!

I blogged recently about our Mega Smarties find. We often use Smarties to treat lows. We even used Smarties on the cover of Kids First, Diabetes Second. Of course the kids wanted to sort them and do a taste test. I started doing math to figure out just how many carbs ther...

My son and I went to a store to pick up a few groceries.

I’ve said over and over that I don’t have a one-stop-shop market and I rotate between a few places.

So we were in the cookie and cracker aisle looking for some crunchy sna...

Most days I don’t even think about it.

That statement at once is true, yet couldn’t be further from the truth.

This morning my daughter asked, “Remember last Easter when I was diabetic and I could only eat some of the candy that was in the eg...

{Our Story} HIGH Blood Sugar!

Please remember that I never give medical advice. Ask your endocrinologist or pediatrician for advice about your own child. Make your own informed decisions for your own child.

He was shocked to see that her blood sugar was in the 400′s and had her wash her hands, recheck her blood sugar, and also check for k...
