I am happy to announce that I was asked to write a Health Perspectives essay for the American Diabetes Association’s Diabetes Forecast magazine to share my thoughts on why I personally feel that CGM use in kids, from a parent’s perspective, may have nothing to do with reducing the quarterly A1c.

Q generally goes along with all she has to do to manage her diabetes.


Does she always want to stop what she’s doing when her CGM alarms?

What do you see when you look at this photo?


Some d-parents look at it and see a victory, some defeat.


For some families an 8.0 is hard-won. For some it brings up more questions than answers.
