Meet The Characters!
𝗛𝗨𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗬’𝗦 𝗗𝗔𝗪𝗡: 𝗔 𝗦𝗬𝗠𝗠𝗘𝗧𝗥𝗬 𝗢𝗙 𝗦𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘 (𝗕𝗢𝗢𝗞 𝟮 𝗢𝗙 𝟯)
𝗗𝗔𝗬𝗦 𝗨𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗟 𝗥𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗘: 7
𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗦: 𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗩𝗘 𝗕𝗔𝗞𝗘𝗥
He was born in 4520 on the Circumbinary planet (P-Type) of Janssen in the Kepler-38A system, in the Lyra constellation. He was brought up by his mother after his father (an IGDF Science Officer) was killed in the battle of Proxima 7 when he was just 7 years old (4527).
He Studied Gravitational Dynamics at the technologist institute of cosmological endeavour from 4535 to 4538 (15-18 Years old). He met Marcus Hadrami when he moved to the technologist planet of Aristotle to study “Principles of Entropy” from 4538 to 4541 (Aged 18-21).
Joining the IGDF Aged 22 as a Junior Science Officer in 4532, he gained rapid promotion due to his intellectual acumen, reaching the rank of commander by 4542. His first post was leading the Bonitas Class Research Capability team, where he met Misha Litvenko in 4542.
When the role of Science Officer became available, as the Bonitas crewed up in 4544, he offered to demote himself to take up the role. This wasn’t required, Rex wanted this man on his team!
He, along with Hidri, Marcus, Anthony & Beta765, were awarded the Galactic Distinguished Scientific Fields Medal in 4547, for their work on the Footprint, and their contributions towards the Sky Anchor.
He left the Bonitas in 4549 to lead the Alien Technology & Military Application board at IGDF HQ, following his friend Hidri. He continued to do this until 4555.
Upon promotion to Captain in 4555 he assumed the position ‘Head of Military Science at the GRD, something he still does to this date (4561).

Meet The Characters!

Born well into the ‘Great Tear’ he had never set foot on a planet before he came to the human universe, always living amongst the stars on the arks that sheltered his people.
As part of the wider Nederig mission to integrate with humanity he joined the new IGDF psycho-analytical sciences department in 4550, assisting in the practical implementation of dimensional and telekinetic sciences to military applications.
Due to his exceptional telekinetic abilities he was paired with Michelle Lantos in 4552, due to their resonation scores being a nearly identical match and the highest in their class.
Finishing his training in 4557, he joined the IGV Soloveiko as the Resonance Director. With the average life expectancy of a Nederig citizen being 8,500 earth years, Zeltac is very young at only 2,582 (Born 1979 AD).

This is extremely evident in the timeline of the universe I have created, with this activity having the power to unite and divide humanity in equal measure.

Quantum Diminishment

So in the second instalment I play with the idea of being able to shrink something down to a size that renders it virtually undetectable by conventional sensors, enabling craft to penetrate planetary defences, and insert an assault team on the ground. The concept of shrinking something has long been played with in the Sci-Fi genre but is it really possible?
One argument is that amongst inter-linking atoms, and the area between their lowest constituent parts (Quanta), exists an astronomical amount of space. Is it possible to compress this space, with no ill-effect on the larger structure as a whole? We know that at the quantum level there is a size limit, known as the ‘Planck Length’, so the ability to compress is bound by limitations itself.
Some would say that this is not possible and that other still yet to be discovered variables, as well as the space in between, is as important to the overall structure of something as the quanta that it is made from.
What do you think? Is this lazy hard science or a sufficient enough unknown to make it feasible from a science fiction perspective?

When an Einheri ground invasion of the planet happened in 4561 she managed to escape into the great forests. From here she took in fellow escaped Kolyskians, trained them, and built a guerilla army numbering approx. 40,000.
She longs for the suffering of her people to end and a chance to revisit the suffering and pain back onto the Einheri Empire, who so cruelly had suppressed and enslaved her proud Cossack people.

Lieutenant Commander Michelle Lantos was born to a mother and father that were both musicians in 4523 and has lived her whole life on Marius Prime.
At the age of 22 she graduated from the coveted Strauss musical academy in 4545, receiving her PHD in classical music. She plays the piano, violin, and a series of other string instruments.
Joining the Marius Prime philharmonic orchestra upon graduating she like others was inspired by the stories of the Bonitas and its crew and jumped at the chance in 4552 when they started recruiting musicians for the top secret IGDF Way Finder programme.
During her training she was matched to her Nederig Resonance Director Zeltac Lokterux whose job it is to interpret the Wayfinders actions through a telepathic link, to establish a tactical connection with the command.
Finishing her training in 4557, she and Zeltac joined the IGV Soloveiko as the Resonance team in their roles as Way Finder and Director respectively.
