27 – Things Unveiled and Revealed in God’s Presence and Light of Truth
And all who have been united with Christ in baptism have put on Christ, like putting on new clothes. Galatians 3:27 NLT
Beloved Covenant
For many, it’s a revelation that miracles are not God’s best for you. In fact, just needing a miracle means you are neck-deep in a mess. God would much rather prosper you by rewarding you for your hard work and generosity.

Wouldn’t you rather live in a house that is paid off than getting a miracle while your house is being repossessed and sold off to someone else?

Well, here’s another great revelation for you to catch: momentum builds when you begin to achieve God-given goals through hard work. That momentum becomes an impelling force enabling you to land in a better spot, so you don’t need a miracle.

We’ve all seen the wonder of momentum. In Guatemala City, Guatemala, you can still see the wreckage of a 747 airliner that ran out of runway and over a cliff, crashing into the slum below. The pilot was not used to landing on a short runway and, despite slamming on the brakes and hitting the reverse thrusters, went right over the edge.

The Bible clearly states that our relationship with God is one of constant forward momentum. That’s why we call it a “walk.” It starts off small, but the longer we walk with God, the bigger steps He requires of us and enables us to make.

Never underestimate the power of momentum! If God can give you the wisdom, favor, and character to get a raise at work, He can give you a promotion. If He can give you a better position at work, He can give you a plan to achieve a better job altogether.

Once you’re living by God-given plans and dreams, you are truly living by faith through momentum.

Which Wolf Do You Feed?

Beloved Covenant
In this day and age, our children grow up really believing marriage is a 50/50 proposition without any real understanding of true covenant.

They come of age, rent a tux, buy a gown, and stand before somebody who will ask them some very serious questions.

Will you have this person to be your lawfully wedded? “I do,” they say to each other, and when they say that they mean they do as long as there’s something good in it for them.

25 – Grace for Grace
For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding his blood. This sacrifice shows that God was being fair when he held back and did not punish those who sinned in times past Romans 3:25 NLT
Grace At the Table
When you become part of this great big family of believers, you also inherit a great big set of family values that come from the heart of the Father Himself.

You learn to make a big deal out of what He makes a big deal out of. As you magnify the Lord, it becomes clear what things you should blow up and bring attention to. You will also understand what things to dial down because the Lord isn’t in them. Remember, not all good things are God things!

There are lots of people who never master the art of upgrade or get the fever for forward. But that’s not you! Since you are different, it stands to reason you are going to make a big deal out of things others do not, like buying girls out of sexual slavery, feeding homeless people, or giving backpacks filled with school supplies to kids in your town.

I have found the values of those of us who journey in the fast lane are quite a bit different from the values of the world. You’ll see that, too, the longer you walk with Jesus.

Do you remember the lesson of the wilderness? When you learn the lesson, you learn to have a high priority for the things you were taught – God loves you unconditionally, He provides all your needs and He sees you as an overcomer, not a loser! You are a mighty warrior for good, so jerk that pistol and get to work!

My life belongs to the Lord. Whatever I can do to build His Kingdom, I’ll do it. If that means helping a Baptist brother with his outreach, a Methodist with a mission trip, or the church next door with a revival, I’m there! Why? Because it’s not about me.

It’s about Jesus Christ being glorified. It’s about real people being saved from the clutches of darkness and slavery to Satan – forever separated from God’s goodness! Why would I not want to be a part of that?

Path of His Presence
Steeped in the WordMarch 23, 2025 – 03/23/2025
3 – Perfect Completion
23 – (+) Being in the Presence of God (-) Death
He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name. Psalm 23:3 NLT
Path of His Presence
In 2015, the pop culture world was rocked by the man formerly known as Bruce Jenner and his sexy pose on the front cover of Vanity Fair magazine. The 65-year-old grandfather was glammed up as an ultra-airbrushed beauty in women’s lingerie. Sporting perfect new breasts and a face feminized by reconstructive surgery, Jenner showed off his new woman’s form with the words “Call me Caitlyn” written across the cover.

Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations, forever and ever! Amen. Ephesians 3:21 NLT

No Doubt He is Here
Thomas gets a raw deal in history. When he wasn’t in the upper room when Jesus first appeared to the disciples, Thomas was skeptical despite the testimony of his friends. You and I would likely be skeptical, too.
That doesn’t mean he should be labeled as the perennial doubter.
Feel like you doubt God too often? Do you tend to fall away when something bad happens, or life gets hard? Feel like God is punishing you for something? He’s not.
God’s not mad at you, so prove it to yourself! Pull out some paper and make a list of the following things:
The promises God has given you. It will keep you in times of trouble.
The miracles God has done in your life. This list will keep you trusting God.
The privileges and things you love about your life. This will keep you thankful.
The prayers God has answered in your life. It will help you continue to pray.
Testimonies of things that have happened in the lives of others. This helps you see how personal God is and what great things He is capable of doing.
The people God has put in your path who helped you become closer to the Lord.
This is your list of ready answers when you doubt the love of God in your life. And if there is one thing we should never doubt, it is the love of God. He proved it when the Word left heaven to become a baby named Jesus. He proved it again when Jesus pointed to the Father and showed His compassion through teaching and healing. And He proved it a third time on Calvary as He was physically tortured and spiritually separated from the Father on the cross. Praise God for His resurrection and the hope of eternity it brings! Expectation of Serving
Steeped in the WordMarch 20, 2025 – 03/20/2025

20 – Waiting and Expectancy
But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior. Philippians 3:20 NLT

Expectation of Serving
Since my first life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ, I remain a non-apologetic, drop-dead, sold-out Jesus Freak. Yes, I’m the Christian the devil warned you about. To do that, I don’t have to be “churchy.” I often talk about secular things, and this seems to trip a lot of people up. You see, I don’t see a line between the sacred and the secular. All life belongs to God, and He can be seen in all of life.

What am I getting at? This – ministry is only effective when you’re willing to serve the people you are ministering to. You will be called into uncomfortable places. You will get dirty because people who are digging a hole to hell are covered in filth. Help them put the shovel down!

The ability to make a difference in somebody’s life does not come from being the meanest, smartest, or loudest. It comes from a willingness to serve. If anyone wants to be first, he must be the very last, and the servant to all. – Mark 9:35

Jesus served the disciples – a group of total knuckleheads who spent three years with God Himself yet didn’t understand a lot about who He was or who He wanted them to become. They went to weddings, funerals (though Jesus generally raised the dead), held babies, ate, drank wine, fished, and just lived life with Him.
