Heat Wave Continues Paranormal-Scope

We’re still in the middle of a heat wave. Keep cool.

I am not qualified to read either stars or planets, I am intimately linked to the paranormal in the world in many ways. So are you.

The paranormal-scope is for entertainment and is not meant to guide your life.

Aries:
Werewolves are very bothered by the heat. Staying indoors rather than going out is the preference now. It’s time to work on that special project you’ve been putting aside.

Taurus:
Mermaids use the waves to send their messages long distance. Get in touch in those you love that live far from you.

Gemini:
Pixies are going over their budgets for paying off key debts. Do the same.

Cancer:
Shapeshifters know things are changing now and new opportunities are presenting themselves. Explore any new decision and contractual agreement with care before proceeding.

Leo:
Vampires have lived long enough to have ups and downs. They know to stay inside in air conditioning if possible to avoid harming heat. Consider doing the same.

Virgo:
Hellhounds can be dear ones. They like to help. Doing volunteer work where it’s nicely air conditioned may help you and others.

Libra
Elves sit down and record their life goals, what has been accomplished, and what is still in progress. Have you thought of trying this?

Scorpio:
Faeries view the longest day of the year as perfect for starting new adventures. Think about planning a vacation.

Sagittarius:
Goblins use this time to get rid of anything they don’t need. They are also cautious with meeting new people and do not automatically trust them because they smile. They have an interesting viewpoint here.

Capricorn:
Dragons grow their friendships and tend to keep them close. Meet new people but remember not everyone is a friend yet.

Aquarius:
Sprites don’t do everything fast. Sometimes they enjoy a slow harmony to spending time learning from their elders and hearing the stories of times gone by. Visit an elder person that you cherish.

Heat Wave Paranormal-Scope

Some of the USA is having a heat wave. We’re thinking of you!

Beach Read: Vampire in the Basement By Susan Hanniford Crowley

Vampire in the Basement is the 4th book in the Vampires in Manhattan series and is the sequel to When Love Survives, Book 1. It tells the story of Regina and Gregor when they go to his family home in Maine for their wedding.

Some people read When Love Survives first then Vampire in the Basement. It gives you a wonderful continuous story. It can also be read alone. I wrote Vampire in the Basement after Books 1-3 from the Vampires in Manhattan series were published. Like the others it is written from a dream. You may know how various things can go wrong at a wedding. Even at paranormal weddings, unexpected things happen.

Gregor’s family is based on my study of the Norse sagas where even in a family, people may shift to a different animals. There is a bunny shifter in the story and like a rabbit she is fast in many ways. I don’t want to give anything away here.

My entire goal for this book was to be fun and somewhat whacky. It has its steamy moments. In 2010, it was nominated for a Bookie Award for Best Shifter Short Story. This is the 2nd publishing for this fun short paranormal adventure romance book.

Beach Read: A Vampire for Christmas By Susan Hanniford Crowley

You might think it strange that A Vampire for Christmas is this week’s beach read. Many major publishers release their winter holiday books during beach season. Love isn’t really seasonal. It’s year-round.

A Vampire for Christmas comes right out of my childhood going downtown Manhattan with my aunt and looking at the different store Christmas window displays. I always looked at Macy’s, Lord & Taylor, and Saks. The windows were artworks of magic. Gazing at all the moving characters and their wondrous settings made any trouble fade away.

There’s a reason I’m using a quote by Mae West. I’m not telling. You will have to find out for yourself.

The dreams for the plot came fast and furious. Of course, It would be Book 3 in the Vampires in Manhattan series. Georgia was living in a city that shines in December, but all her luck was bad and getting worse. Trevor comes from money, but he’s a vampire and that can be a disadvantage in romance.

Sometimes you can feel it in the air when demons are closing in and you’re running out of time. Human life is fragile. Time is fleeting.

A Remembrance Paranormal-Scope

Today is Memorial Day in the United States of America, when we remember and honor those in the armed services that gave their lives for this country.

While I am not qualified to read either stars or planets, I am intimately linked to the paranormal in the world in many ways. So are you.

The paranormal-scope is for entertainment and is not meant to guide your life.

Aries:
Faeries send dandelions seeds into the air to plant good memories of those that are gone. It’s their little gift to the world.

Taurus:
Griffins enjoy gathering with family and friends to share a feast. Consider having your own feast!

Gemini:
Elves create lovely memorials in the forest. Do you think that beauty is just there?

Cancer:
Sprites run for the exhilarating feeling it gives them. They see so much in so little time. It’s time to slow down and enjoy what you have.

Leo:
Salamanders enjoy grilling for friends and family. They are careful not to get burned. Take care traveling this week.

Virgo:
Vampires often take moments for self-reflection. They journal or paint. Self-reflection on the good times especially can do you a world of good.

Libra
Hellhounds love hotdogs and hamburgers. They are just cuddle pups when they are full. Let the important people in your life know that you love them.

Scorpio:
Mermaids remember those they have lost by weaving seaweed and flowers they find at the land’s edge into wreaths then setting them on the waves. Let the water wash away the sadness.

Sagittarius:
Werewolves love parades. They love ceremonies in general. They sigh then get something to eat. Do the same.

Capricorn:
Sirens swim deep on this day. They sing for the lost ships at sea. In this case, the sirens actions are sweet and serene. Rest today. Read a book or watch a fun movie.

Aquarius:
Shapeshifters always go with the flow. One moment might be in prayer and the next might be laughing and playing games with friends. It’s just the way that life goes.

Pisces:
Dragons toast their food with their own fire. It’s the same as making a feast for family and friends with love. Enjoy yourself. Consider taking photos of your events.
