Beach Read: A Vampire for Christmas By Susan Hanniford Crowley

You might think it strange that A Vampire for Christmas is this week’s beach read. Many major publishers release their winter holiday books during beach season. Love isn’t really seasonal. It’s year-round.

A Vampire for Christmas comes right out of my childhood going downtown Manhattan with my aunt and looking at the different store Christmas window displays. I always looked at Macy’s, Lord & Taylor, and Saks. The windows were artworks of magic. Gazing at all the moving characters and their wondrous settings made any trouble fade away.

There’s a reason I’m using a quote by Mae West. I’m not telling. You will have to find out for yourself.

The dreams for the plot came fast and furious. Of course, It would be Book 3 in the Vampires in Manhattan series. Georgia was living in a city that shines in December, but all her luck was bad and getting worse. Trevor comes from money, but he’s a vampire and that can be a disadvantage in romance.

Sometimes you can feel it in the air when demons are closing in and you’re running out of time. Human life is fragile. Time is fleeting.

For you enjoyment, I’m sharing the blurb and a review!

Blurb from A Vampire for Christmas:  (in Kindle)

Georgia doesn’t know she’s a Harmony. Jobless and about to be homeless, her heart sinks when a hand snatches the coat of her dreams from the storefront window. Then she sees him staring at her reflection . . . the stalker.

Trevor Stenwood, a vampire and Arnhem Knight, is handsome, sophisticated, and tongue-tied every time he sees her. Sworn to protect the supernaturals of the city, he’s fallen for a woman marked for death by demons. How can he save her when she’s afraid of him?

At Christmas time in New York City, will love bloom in the snow?

A Review from Sandra Flowers on Amazon. She called it a ‘Holiday Fun Read.’ Five Stars.

This is a well written, fun story. Even thou this is the third book in the Vampires in Manhattan series, it is not necessary to read the previous books, as needed information is neatly fit into this story. Thank you Susan for continuing this series.

I loved dreaming it, writing it, and again walking in the footsteps of my childhood.

Have a fun June! If it gets too hot, drink a cool drink, and read A Vampire for Christmas.
Be safe and keep those you love close.

Truly,

Susan
