How important is it to live by rules and have standards?
We all live by a set of rules, whether we follow them or not; and hopefully, with those rules, we also have standards, high ones, just as He does, especially for us. When life gets challenging, He is ready to help us follow the rules and maintain such standards by telling us that he "will cure [us] of backsliding" (Jeremiah 3:22). When we begin to let the rules and standards slide or come in to question, consider seeking Him. #remainfaithful & #respectyourself

What is the purpose of prayer? Prayer can be “all kinds of prayers” and on “all occasions” (Ephesians 6:18). There is no hard rule. One Thessalonians tells us to “pray continually, [and] give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus” (5:17-18). When we do so, He will provide us with “our daily bread” (v. 11). #ThePowerOfPrayer❤️#ANWAdvocatingForHealthyLivesHomesAndWorkEnvironments

Why is it so difficult to accept certain gifts?
Luke shares a very similar story about God the Father and the relationship between a father and son. Upon the arrival of his son, the "father saw him and was filled with compassion for him" (15:20), even though the son told his father that he was "no longer worthy to be called [his] son; [and to] make [him] like [his] hired servants" (15:19). No matter the circumstance, both fathers await with open arms to receive their children. In order to say yes, it does not need to be difficult. #graciouslyacceptandreceive

How important is it to have all of the details?
In order to get the entire story, details, even the small ones, are important. We are reminded, in 2 Timothy, of the very same thing. There are unfamiliar names, mentioned within the Bible, which are just as important as the familiar ones but have a tendency to be ignored, thereby preventing us to see and understand the entire story. So, as you learn, don't forget the small details because they are "useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness" (3:16). #detailsmatter

What in your life needs some remodeling?
We can all use a remodel, from time to time. Most importantly, in order to take on this remodel, we need to find someone who can help get the job done. Such a person up for the task is the one who can help us "be made new in the attitude of [our] minds" (Ephesians 4:23). This person has the ability to help us speak "truthfully" (v. 25) or use words that are "helpful for building others up" (v. 29). When we decide to take on this remodel aka personal home improvement, our lives change for the better, and we become refreshed, while also filling ourselves with kindness, compassion, and forgiveness (v. 32). #worththeinvestment

How are you able to live the life that you live?
It is because of the One who saved and continues to save us from our sins. In knowing this alone, it is prudent for us to "give praise to the LORD, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done" (Isaiah 12:4) with each new day and as often as we can. #spreadtheword & #sharethegoodnews

How do unanticipated mercies happen?
Even out of life's difficulties come unanticipated mercies. Two Chronicles shares with us how a man named Josiah became that unexpected mercy. As a young and faithful leader, "[Josiah] began to seek the God of his father David" (34:3), and in doing so, "repair[ed] the temple of the Lord" (34:8), while also having devote followers "as long as [he] lived" (34:33). As you continue your journey, may you encounter life's unexpected mercies. These kind of mercies happen when you least expect them and when you need them the most. #beready

Which would you rather be exposed to, good or bad news? Unfortunately, every day, we are exposed to more bad than good news. Even with the significant amount of bad news, there is good news to be had, the gospel, which is “the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes” (Romans 1:16). So, if you would rather hear the good news, consider tuning into the good and tuning out the bad. #FilterIt #BeSelective Or #ChangeTheChannel❤️#ANWAdvocatingForHealthyLivesHomesAndWorkEnvironments

How important is it to live with certainty? Life is full of uncertainty; but, fortunately, we can be certain of one thing and that is knowing where we are going when our time here on earth is done. He tells us that he is “coming soon” (Revelation 22:12) and his people will inherit eternal life (see 22:14). When you can live with this kind of certainty, life’s uncertainties become more bearable because of knowing what is to come. #ToHappyEndings❤️ #ANWAdvocatingForHealthyLivesHomesAndWorkEnvironments

Who deserves all of the credit? There is always someone seeking to take credit for something, even if they do not deserve it. Whatever the reasoning, there is one person who deserves every bit of credit and that is God himself. He is “the source of every good gift” (see James 1:17) that is given to us. Above all things, consider giving credit where credit is due. #RightfulAcknowledgement❤️#ANWAdvocatingForHealthyLivesHomesAndWorkEnvironments
