What is your life's purpose?
Each one of us has a purpose, in this life time; and instead of trying to be like someone else, we need to be our own person. So, if you really want to find your purpose, consider being an individual, your true self, and "take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4). #setyourselfapart

Decisions, decisions, decisions....
When decisions have to be made, there is always a consequence; and it is no different when it comes to having a life with Christ. Romans shares with us two options, when it comes to living a life with Christ. We can either choose to continue to sin and know that "the wages of sin is death" or receive the gift of "eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (6:23). What will you choose? #lifeeternalordeath

What is the significance of a word?
There is meaning and intent behind every written word, whether it be writing a book, note, card, or posting on social media. In Jeremiah's case, it was a scroll. God instructed Jeremiah to "take a scroll and write on it all of the words that [God had] spoken to [Him]" (Jeremiah 36:2). After doing so, God's words were destroyed, tossed and burned in to a fire, but immediately rewritten. No matter what happens to our words, especially God's, they are there forever. Knowing this, as you continue to read or write, consider paying close attention to each one of them, because they might just stand the test of time, just like God's does. #wordstoholdonto & #share

How many great teachers do you know?
The world is filled with many great teachers; but there is one that sets themselves apart from them all. The Lord, himself, knows all-the past, present and future (see Psalm 147:5). What better teacher, than Him, to help us with things that we don't understand or know how to do. Consider asking Him for help, when you need it. #ourknowledgesource

Daily Meditations of a Nurse Warrior
To be unable to care for yourself can be very scary; and when this happens, who can you count on to help you? In 2 Samuel, King Saul's grandson, David, the new king, took on such a responsibility for his friend's son, Mephibosheth, who became dependent on others because of an accident that left him debilitated in both feet (see 4:4). David assured his friend that his son would be taken care of (see 9:7). Besides David, our Lord has and continues to do the same for us. Just like "Mephibosheth ate at David's table like one of the king's sons" (9:11), we too have that same opportunity to do so with Him. #AlwaysAPlace & #ReadyToHelp

How do you receive and view others thoughts, beliefs and attitudes?
Just because we think differently does not make us a bad person. We were all created as individuals with the ability to develop our own thoughts, beliefs and attitudes. As you come across others that view things differently, may you consider what Romans 14:13 has to say. Romans says to "let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister." #broadenyourhorizons

How sage are you?
Some are and some aren't. A quality worth possessing as well as receiving is wisdom. Bestowed or graced by such a quality allows for making wise decisions; and when we choose to use or take the wisdom that we have been given, just like Moses, who "listened to his father-in-law and did everything he said" (Exodus 18:24), we "will be counted among the wise" (Proverbs 19:20) and have the opportunity to share it with others who are willing to receive it. #besage

What lengths will you take to become noticed?
Many go unnoticed in life, just as they did back then (see Hebrews 11:35-38). Names unknown, many lived life with no recognition, regardless of what was promised to them (see 11:39). Still, receiving no recognition, these unknowns remained faithful, and, eventually, "were all commended for their faith" (11:39). If you desire that same recognition and commendation, consider living a life of faith. #faithfullyrecognized

Disagreements occur often, even about the same things; and when they do, how will you settle them? We are advised, by Philippians that "if on some point you think differently," consider seeking the wisdom of someone who can "make [the disagreement] clear to you" (3:15), and help you to "be of the same mind" (3:2). Therefore, when you are willing to put your differences aside, and and seek help, you can find a resolution or reasonable compromise. #seekandsettle

What kind of teammate are you?
Teamwork is critical to the growth and success of any group, organization, business, sports team, or family; and without it, much suffers. With this being said, "always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else" (1 Thessalonians 5:15) and "encourage one another and build each other up" (5:11); because when you choose to be part of the team you gain more than you could ever imagine possible. #BeATeamPlayer
