ANW's Meaningful Monday

What deserves your attention, acknowledgment, and recognition?

Much can be missed, if you do not pay attention. Even Jesus's own disciples did not recognize Him, especially after spending a great deal of time together and seeing "his works" (John 14:10, see 14:9).

I missed much too. Over the course of almost 18 years, I did not recognize, at the time, several cues that He was giving and telling me, while working in a very toxic environment. Instead, I just brushed them off until the third cue. He made sure that I recognized and acknowledged this one; and I did. Since that day, I have never missed a cue. Every day, I recognize Him and his presence and am amazed at what he does for me and in my life. He is truly a "wise teacher" and "great moral leader" (John 1:14); and I am most grateful and blessed.

So, if you struggling to recognize the man who has always been in your life and wanting to be a part of it, might you take a moment and look around. You can find Him everywhere. #WorthyOfYourAttention #Acknowledgment & #Recognition

ANW's Savory Sunday

What peace do you seek?

Peace is found by having "faith", which is given to you "through [your] Lord Jesus Christ" (Romans 5:1)

My journey to find this peace began with "suffering [that has produced] perseverance; perseverance, character, and character, hope" (5:3-4) and all "because [of] God's love" (5:5) for me. And, while going through this, I did not see the the "glory in [my] sufferings" (5:3) or "God's love" (5:5) for letting this happen to me. Now, I do, because of the relationship that I have developed with God over the past seven years. Our relationship has turned every fear and worry in to peace and calm, because He cares, loves, and protects me.

So, if your peace is temporary, might you consider taking Him up on his offer and turn those brief moments in to having peace every moment of every day. #APeacefulLife

ANW's Soulful Saturday

What sweets do you crave?

If you love your sweets, you are not going to pass up on ones that satisfy your sweet tooth and allow you to eat them every day, because they are healthy and have zero calories.

Having a sweet tooth, myself, I took a bite, seven years ago, and now, I cannot go a day without having one, if not several. Every piece is delectable. These sweets are "more precious than gold", taste "sweeter than honey"(Psalm 19:10), and are "refreshing", "trustworthy", "wise" (Psalm 19:7), "[give] joy" and "light", "are radiant" (19:8), "pure", "firm", and "righteous" (19:9); and I can't quit eating them.

So, if you need your sweet fix, might you look to "the law of the LORD" (Psalm 19:7) and eat as much as you want and never gain a pound. Enjoy! #DailySweetTreats #GetYourFix

ANW's Fruitful Friday

What do you need to expose and change?

Sins reveal themselves at some point; and hiding or holding on to them only makes the situation worse.

One of my many sins was not asking for help when I needed it, both personally, and, especially, professionally; and in doing so, it almost cost me everything, until I prayed to God for help. After much time and prayer, I have learned that "[concealing my] sins does not prosper, but...[confessing and renouncing] them finds mercy" (Proverbs 28:13). Now, and every day, I go directly to Him for help. I do not second guess or try to do it on my own, because I know that I can always rely and depend on Him for anything and everything (see Galatians 5:16-17, 22-24).

So, if you, too, are wrestling with your sins and want to release them, might you consider "[confessing your] sins, [as] he is faithful and just and will forgive [you your] sins and purify [you] from all unrighteousness" (John 1:9). #UncoverIt #OwnIt & #CorrectIt

ANW's Thoughtful Thursday

How do you handle power and authority?

Power and authority are a privilege, and if they are not used with care and consideration, it can be dangerous. Job struggled with God's power and authority, because he did not know the full extent of what God could do (see Job 42:1-6); and neither could I, until He broke me. My mistake was trying to do everything on my own and not asking Him for help. I paid dearly with a broken heart; and while broken, I, too, learned of His immense power and authority, and have repented many times since for taking Him for granted.

No one has the power that God does, as "all of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags" (Isaiah 64:6). But you can side with Him; and He will give you whatever you need to tackle and face, because even the biggest creatures, like Leviathan (see Job 41), are no match for God. The power and authority are all His.

So, if you have any power or authority, may you use it in such a way that it honors, respects, and, most importantly, involves God. #UseWisely #Responsibly & #Humbly

ANW’s Wisdom Wednesday

What can make you even stronger?

Weights and enhancements may get you strong, but not as strong as you could be. Additional strength comes from the strongest person in the world, God himself; and if you have faith and trust, you know this; and if you don’t, you learn really quick that to get that edge you need His help to get it.

It took me years to figure this out. I thought I could do anything –young, fit, and ready to take on and change the world, at least better working conditions; but only to find out I could not do it alone. I fought with everything I had and still was not strong enough. After weakened by the fight, I “cried out to the LORD” (Judges 3:9), “in weakness” (2 Corinthians 12:9), and He helped me regain my strength, but, this time, His strength, arming me with 46 strengtheners that I exercise daily.

So, if you want to gain true and real strength, might you consider letting “the Spirit of the LORD [come upon you]” (Judges 3:10); and once you do, you will see how strong you truly are. #46Stronger

ANW's Takeaway Tuesday

What do you do when faced with evil?

Evil is ugly and mean and will hurt and destroy you if you let it.

I chose to fight; and doing so made the evil worse, as it exposed many of the evildoers, but it also hurt many good people too. The evil was so bad that no matter how hard I fought for good, the evil was too powerful for me to fight by myself. Fortunately, Goodness stepped in and pulled me out of the ugly before it destroyed me. And, once He did, He has helped me build an arsenal of good to fight whatever is evil, 46 to be exact; and each one helps me fight the battle every day and keeps the evil at bay or away. Thanks be to God for His mercy and goodness.

So, if you, too, are trying to "overcome evil with good" (Romans 12:21), might you ask for help to fight the evil off so you can be the "salt of the earth" and "the light of the world" (Matthew 5:13-14), instead of the alternative. #BeGood

ANW's Meaningful Monday

What do you disciple?

Living in limbo is hard to do. Yet, at the same time, it can help you ground or restore yourself again, especially when you have someone who wants to help you.

Living in limbo, forced me to stop, slow down, and see my life and whole being, head, heart, and soul; and when I did, much revealed itself, over the course of seven years. During that period of time, I immersed myself in to writing and creating, and while doing so, I developed a very close relationship with Christ. We talk daily; and I grow and learn from every conversation. And, because of our relationship, He has prepared me to step outside of my comfort zone and disciple to anyone who wants or needs to listen what I am sharing and selling. I, now, represent Him, as an advocate for healthy living; because toxicity hurts, destroys, and kills.

Therefore, it is my hope that what I offer and share with you that you can use it and also "go and make disciples" (Matthew 28:19). #ATrueDisciple

ANW's Savory Sunday

What do you need prescribed?

There is a prescription for most conditions; but they do not always need come in the form of a medication, treatment, or test.

After suffering a broken heart, I needed medical attention and assistance, a diagnostic test, a cardiac catheterization, to confirm the problem, and a few short-term medications to restrengthen my heart. But, for long-term treatment, it required another prescription, my Father taking me "in his arms and [carrying me] close to his heart" (Isaiah 40:11) so He could strengthen my weary and weak being and strengthen it again (see 40:29). No medications, treatments, or tests were required; but what was needed was love, care, comfort, peace, compassion, protection, joy, happiness, trust, hope, honesty, time, faith, goodness, help, support, and kindness. This prescription healed my whole being; and I still take it every single day.

So, if you are in need of a prescription, might you also consider seeking Him as part of your health regime and maintenance. #JustWhatTheFatherOrdered

ANW's Soulful Saturday

What mercy do you seek?

Mercies come in many forms, such as blessings, warnings, kindness, compassion, and relief, and in disguise.

Even after ignoring previous warnings, when working in toxic working conditions, for many years, He continued blessing me; and, then, kindly relieved me of my situation with an stress-induced heart attack. Not a mercy I saw coming, but one that needed to happen; and with this mercy, and many others, that He has bestowed upon me, I am forwarding them to you, every day, in an effort to help you too, even the offenders.

So, if you seek mercy, might you consider getting to know "the LORD your God" (Exodus 16:12) and let Him fill you with bread (see 16:12), even though you may not know what it is (see 16:15), as mine came in the form of a broken heart. His mercies are endless; and I am most grateful and thankful for everyone that He has bestowed and continues to bestow upon me. #FillUp & #GiveThanks
