How important is it for you to be able to fit in?

Trying to fit in can be very difficult; and many reasons exist for not being able to do so. Even then, during the days of the ancient Israelites, Leviticus shares with us how the diseased were exiled and had to "live alone" (13:46), along with other things that were not accepted within the towns confines. Among other things, "Jesus also suffered outside the cite gate" (Hebrews 13:12), as he was crucified on the cross. If you are unable to fit in, have faith in knowing that you were not meant to be there and that you have options, along with a helping hand who knows what it is like to not fit in. Sometimes, it takes being on the outside to know where you stand, and mostly importantly, who you are and what you are truly capable of doing. #stepoutsideyourcomfortzone & #findyourplace

Why is it so difficult to follow certain rules and not others?

Rules are put in to place for a reason. Some follow them and some don't. One rule, in particular, the law of the Lord, is one that many struggle to follow; maybe because it can sometimes be difficult to understand and follow; but for the most part it is very truthful, relevant, real, and insightful, especially for those who delight in the law of the LORD, and meditate on his law day and night (see Psalm 1:1-2). So, if you want to live your best life, consider following His rules. #rulestoliveby

How impactful are the choices that you make?

A single choice can change the entire trajectory of your life. Adam's choice resulted in condemnation and death "to all people" (Romans 5:17). Fortunately, for him, God justified his choice by righteously allowing his son to die on the cross, in order to provide "life for all people" (5:18). As you continue to make your own choices, consider how they will affect you, along with others, because they can have a lasting impact. #tobecondemnedorjustified #bemindful & #makewisedecisions

What makes you joyful?

The path to a joyful life begins with wisdom. Proverbs shares with us that "joyful is the person who finds wisdom, the one who gains understanding" (3:13 NLT). "For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will fill you with joy" (2:10 NLT). If seeking, "God gives wisdom, knowledge, and joy to those who please him" (Ecclesiastes 2:26 NLT). For "[wisdom] will guide you down delightful paths" (3:17 NLT). #choosetobewise & #livejoyfully

What does it mean to be a team player?

When multiple people are involved, such as a family, sports team, or business, we are encouraged, by Paul, in Philippians, to be "like-minded, having the same love, [and] being one in spirit and of one mind" (2:2). When we are willing to come together as one, along with having a selfless and humble attitude, we have the ability to create a beautiful masterpiece together. #thereisnoIinteam

What has this pandemic taught us?

Hopefully, we have learned a great deal from this crisis and are better for having done so; but most importantly that we have found ourselves to be more compassionate, considerate, patient, and more loving towards one another. Even though we are each very different, we all share this experience, no exclusions, and can come together, through our actions and interactions, and be a better person for doing. Consider being compelled, through Christ's love, (2 Corinthians 5:14), and not by "no one from a worldly point of view," (5:16), but a human one (see 5:15). #seeingeachotheras #normal #equal #humanbeings

When the Lord asks "Whom shall I send?," (Isaiah 6:3), how will you respond?

There was one such "man of unclean lips" (6:5), Isaiah, who responded and said "Here am I. Send me!" (6:8). Isaiah willingly volunteered because he witnessed God's goodness, acknowledged his own sins and was forgiven of them (see 6:1-7). So, if you are asked to go, just like Isaiah was, know that He will prepare you for what lies ahead. #stepup & #makeadifference

How complete is your life?

Paul, through the book of Colossians, shares with us how Jesus doesn't just forgive and rescue us but that he also completes us "through [our] union with Christ" (2:10 NLT). It is not a career or another person that completes us; it is Jesus, the one who can make us whole. If you wish to live life to the fullest, consider seeking Him to help complete it. #livefullyandcompletely

How secure are you in knowing who you are and whom you belong to?

Finding your identity and home can be very challenging, at any age. Helping us to find both is found in Deuteronomy by saying: "Let the beloved of the LORD rest secure in him, for he shields him all day long, and the one the LORD loves rests between his shoulders" (33:12). Knowing Him is knowing who we are and whom we belong to. #ouridentity & #family
