What does it take to be able to appreciate our successes?

In order to be able to appreciate our successes, we must also be able to do the same with our failures. To help marry the two, we should also consider putting our faith and confidence in Him. When we do, Proverbs reminds us that "though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again" (24:16). #motivationforsuccess

How can you reflect greatness?

Serving others is one of the greatest things that we can do; and if we are willing to do so, we are told that if "anyone who wants to be first must be the very last, and the servant to all" (Mark 9:35). Such service reflects greatness, which is to be humble and like Him. #tobegreat

Life, sometimes, can make us feel less than, abandoned, or rejected, even forgotten. When you start to feel this way, always know that He "will not forget you" (Isaiah 49:15), because he knows each and every one of us so well and will do anything for us if we just ask. #alwaysseenandheard

What will you take on your life's journey, in order to finish well?

Hebrews provides us with some guidance as we take this journey and says: "since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles"(12:1). When we heed these instructions and "not grow weary and lose heart" (vv.1, 3), we travel light and finish well. #makealist

Did you know that you have more than just one family?
If you are fortunate to already have a family, then you are doubly blessed to have the opportunity to be part of another one, an adopted one. Galatians reminds us that we "are all children of God through faith" (3:26). If you need a family or would also like to have another, consider becoming a member. You will never regret it; and your life will be changed forever. #family #faith & #forever

What will you do for another, especially when it means doing the right thing? It is never easy to do the right thing; but when we see things that go on and are not right we should stand up and do the right thing, just as Ahikam “stood up for Jeremiah” (NLT) so that “he was not handed over to the people to be put to death” (Jeremiah 26:24). As you consider doing what is right, ask Him for guidance and He will show you what to do in order to help and support others in need. #SteppingUp❤️#ANWAdvocatingForHealthyLivesHomesAndWorkEnvironments

What do you value? As you contemplate your values, also, take a moment to consider what He values. For God, his values lie in us, a “sinner who repents;” and when this happens “there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God” (Luke 15:10). Knowing what He values may help you to reprioritize your own. #TrueWorth❤️#ANWAdvocatingForHealthyLivesHomesAndWorkEnvironments

Why be envious of others? Envy can lead to one’s own demise. Instead of wanting what another has, just as Saul did with David, comparing “his thousands” to David’s “tens of thousands” (1 Samuel 18:7), seek to use the talents that God has given you (see Ephesians 2:10). #QuitComparing #BeABetterYou & #AppreciateOneAnother❤️ #ANWAdvocatingForHealthyLivesHomesAndWorkEnvironments

What keeps you from getting along with others? Due to many differences, much gets in the way of keeping people from getting along with one another, just as it was for the Jews and gentiles (see Ephesians 2:14). Whatever the differences, know that you do not have to live divided, because “he himself is our peace” and “has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility” (2:14). #LearnToGetAlong❤️#ANWAdvocatingForHealthyLivesHomesAndWorkEnvironments
