How strong is your love, especially for another?
To know love is to know Him. There is no one who loves more than God himself; but, in order to understand the greatness of His ability to love is to understand that "love is as strong as death, its jealousy unyielding as the grave" (Song of Songs 8:6). When we can comprehend the significance of such a deep, pure, real, and undying love that He has for us, then, we, ourselves, can know what it is to have such a love so strong that "many waters cannot quench [it]" (8:7). #thepoweroflove

When was the last time you smiled? If you can recall, how did it make you feel?
When we smile, we are reminded that "a cheerful look brings joy to the heart" and "a cheerful heart is good medicine" (Proverbs 15:30 NLT; 17:22). No matter what is going on in your life, choose to smile, because a smile is contagious and you never know who may need it, one being yourself. #choosehappiness & #smileoften

How are you able to love another, especially when they are difficult to get along with?
It is so very hard to love others, especially our least favorites, because of what they say and do. Although, we are reminded and also commanded, in John 13:34, to "love one another. As [he has] loved [us], [we too] must love one another." Regardless of our differences and difficulty to love those who are unloveable, consider finding a way to love them anyway. When you do, "everyone will know that you are [his] disciples" (13:35). #lovealwaysandeveryone

What is it you want but can not have?
Genesis shares with us a candid conversation that God had with Abram when he asked God for a child (see 15:2). After asking God his question, God promised Abram that he "will make [his] offspring like the dust of the earth" (13:16); and told Abram to "look up at the sky and count the stars" (15:5). In doing so, Abram, known as Abraham, became the "father of many." When we put our requests before Him, he will answer. #askanddyoushallreceive

What lengths will you go to, in order to help your child, even others?
Deuteronomy shares with us how God went to great lengths in order to help Moses lead the Israelites out of Egypt. As He carried the Israelites, He, too, will carry you "as a father carries his son, all the way, until you [reach] this place" (1:31). How magnificent is it to have someone that is willing to go out of their way to protect and provide for you as if you were their own. #atruefatherfigure

It is through life's afflictions that we are able to see our greatest vulnerabilities; but, also, at the same time, allows us to tap in to the true meaning of our lives, thereby creating an awareness, along with possibilities that we never thought possible. When we do arrive, it is because we are one with the Lord and can work together, through any affliction, knowing "we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body" (1 Corinthians 12:13). #livinginharmony

What will it take for the world to become united?
Over the course of time, much tribulation has occurred. The latest, COVID, still remains to devastate because of a divided and untrusting society. Whether it be "the sword of judgment, or plague or famine," it would behoove us to all be united, to "stand in [his] presence...and cry out to [him] in our distress" (2 Chronicles 20:9). When we do, He will hear and save us. Consider His help, especially in times like these. #areasonforeverything

How beautiful and blessed is your life?
In order to live a life of beauty, Matthew 5:3-10 shows us how. God blesses those who are poor in spirit (3); mourn (4); are meek (5); hunger and thirst for righteousness (6); are merciful (7); are pure in heart (8); are peacemakers (9); and are persecuted because of righteousness (10). When or if you choose to do so, "rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven" (5:12). #beautifulblessings #Beatitudes

What is it going to take for you to realize how great God is, especially when "the lightning is dispersed, or the place where the east winds are scattered over the earth?" (Job 38:24). Unfortunately, more than not, it is when we are brought to our knees that we realize who He is and his powerful nature.
Job found this out too, but not until after being broke, sick, losing his children, and having no empathetic friends and a faithless wife (2:9; 24-41). After living such a life, Job finally turned to God. Once Job reached out to Him, he knew the reason for his circumstances and responded by saying: "My ears have heard you, but now my eyes have seen you" (42:5).
You don't have to wait and live a life of Job. When you accept God and realize his significance, he will help you through every storm of life. #ourwayfinder

What lengths will you take in order to stand up for what you believe in?
When Daniel was threatened, by a royal, for praying to God instead of the king, (see 6:12), he risked his life by being thrown in to a lion's den. Even with his safety at risk, Daniel remained steadfast and true to God as he "pray[ed] three times a day" (6:13), on his knees, "giving thanks to his God, just as he had done before" (6:10). As you consider your beliefs and the lengths that you will take to uphold them, think of Daniel, who never wavered, whatever the cost, and stood up for what he believed in. #atruebeliever
