Daily Meditations of A Nurse Warrior

There are moments when our mind, body, and soul need to rest, in order to be renewed and restored. Besides ourselves, “Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed” (Luke 5:16) so he too could do the same and then go back to “seek and serve the lost” (19:10). Consider withdrawing and spending time with Him as you rejuvenate. #Rest #Relax & #Resume❤️ #ANWAdvocatingForHealthyLivesHomesAndWorkEnvironments

Daily Meditations of A Nurse Warrior

We are reminded, in the book of Job, how even the strongest and mightiest of creatures, Behemoth” included, (see 40:15), pale in comparison to the Maker of all things. One’s stature and strength have no power, especially when life’s problems get in the way. It is when we “know that [He]?can do all things” (42:2), that gives us “Behemoth” strength to face our challenges. Remember, looks can be deceiving, but His are not. #TrueStrength❤️ #ANWAdvocatingForHealthyLivesHomesAndWorkEnvironments

Peace is vital to our well-being; and if we do not have it, we struggle to live, in every aspect, a full and fruitful life. When you make the decision to live in "shalom," He will provide you with "the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" (Phillipians 4:7). #findyourpeace

Large numbers, deep pockets, or skill doesn't necessarily measure success. Instead, success is "be[ing] strong in the Lord and in his mighty power" (Ephesians 6:10); and when we are, He gives us the confidence and courage to face any and all odds. So, consider putting your faith in Him; and be the one who changes the predictable. #beatingtheodds

How important is it to know the truth? In John, we are told that " if you hold on to [his] teaching, you are really [his] disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free" (8:31-32). Consider seeking the truth so that you can grow in life and Him. #freeyourself

What is your worth? To help you answer this question, consider another question that is posed in Matthew 10:29. "Are not two sparrows sold for a penny?" As you consider this question as well, you need to understand the meaning of the sparrow. God uses the sparrow, considered small and worthless, to show us our value. With this, He assures us that no matter who we are, we will not fall to the ground outside his care, because "[we] are worth more than many sparrows" (see 10:29-31). #alwaysworthy

For those of us who think that we can do it all on our own, think again. No matter what the task, we still need help. It is when we need wisdom, strength, and guidance that our help should come "from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth" (Psalm 121:2); because He "is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine" (Ephesians 3:20). Therefore, consider setting your pride aside and ask Him for help. #remainhumbleinallthatyoudo

Daily Meditations of A Nurse Warrior

How much influence does your childhood have on your adult life? One of those potential influences is having been introduced to Jesus at a young age. The book of Mark speaks to the impact that Christ Jesus wants to have on his children. It is when we are touched and blessed, at a young age, we learn and know that “the kingdom of God belongs to such as these” (10:14). Whether influenced by Him at a young age or not, you are still a child of God, and can still be touched and blessed by him. Consider being influenced. It is never too late. #AGoodInfluence❤️ #ANWAdvocatingForHealthyLivesHomesAndWorkEnvironments
