Daily Meditations of A Nurse Warrior

Whether you believe it or not, you are seen, approved, and appreciated. He promises that “you are precious and honored in [his] sight” (Isaiah 43:4); and “when you pass through the waters, [He] will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you” (43:2). #YouMeanSomething❤️#ANWAdvocatingForHealthyLivesHomesAndWorkEnvironments

Daily Meditations of a Nurse Warrior

Consider asking yourself the following questions. How blessed are you? & How do you come to understand the blessings that you receive?

Peter helps us to understand where our blessings comes from. He says to us, even "though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy" (1 1:8). Whether you believe it or not, your blessings come from the help of the Spirit (v. 11), the one who cares for and loves you. #blessingsfromabove

Daily Meditations of a Nurse Warrior

How do you see yourself as a person? Pharoah thought that he was "a lion among the nations...a monster in the seas" (Ezekiel 32:2); but only to be noted, by God, and "many peoples to be appalled at [him] and their kings [to] shudder with horror because of [him]" (32:10). Until we see ourselves, along with our sins, we will never know who we truly are, because "our righteous acts are like filthy rags" (Isaiah 64:6), especially when God is involved. Consider trusting in Him; and he will reveal the real you. #gettoknow & #seeyourself

What does it mean to be mature, especially spiritually mature?

For whatever reason, many are in a hurry to grow up; and with this mentality, the question of whether we are mature enough surfaces. In our youth, we are easily influenced towards "every wind of teaching" (Ephesians 4:14); but as we mature, in our understanding of the truth, we are able to "[attain] to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ" (4:13). Consider not being in a rush to grow up; and take in what you can, while you can, as you grow and find your maturity in life and in Him. #dontrushtheprocess

Daily Meditations of a Nurse Warrior

Consider asking yourself the following questions. What kind of person goes out of their way to rescue another? OR When in need of rescuing, who do you call?

We all need rescuing, at times, just as the Israelites did when suffering from Egypt's oppression. After seeing "the misery of [his] people in Egypt" (Exodus 3:7), and hearing them cry out (3:7), He "[came] down to rescue them" (3:8), because of his concern for their suffering (3:7). When in need, God, too, will rescue you; just ask. #rescue911

Daily Meditations of a Nurse Warrior

How wise are you when it comes to building your house and maintaining it? We are reminded, in Ephesians and 1 Thessalonians, that a wise house is built with "only what is helpful for building others up" (4:29 & 5:11); and in Proverbs, that a foolish house is torn down by "a fool's mouth [that] lashes out with pride" (14:3). When we listen to Him, he will help us build a strong and lasting foundation. #establishahouseofwisdom

Daily Meditations of a Nurse Warrior

How do we find our true self? Our identity begins within the womb (Psalm 139:13-14); and when we arrive, we begin to grow, develop, and evolve, over the years, and find out who we really are. Through this ongoing transformation of finding ourselves, hopefully, we are blessed to become believers of our Maker, and will "know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him" (1 John 3:2). #therealyou

Daily Meditations of a Nurse Warrior

Every day is a new day; and we can not predict what it will bring. But, we have the ability to live in such a way that allows us the opportunity to live generously and selflessly when it comes to others. We are urged to be "devoted to one another in love...joyful in hope, patient in affliction, [and] faithful in prayer," (Romans 12:12), especially to those in need. Therefore, consider lending a hand, when you can. #helpingoneanother

Daily Meditations of a Nurse Warrior

Just a fews days ago, I wrote about injustice and how difficult it is to receive it. Unfortunately, there are instances where many never receive the justice that they deserve. If you can, be rest assured that God will make these injustices right, because "all [God's] ways are just" (Deuteronomy 32:4). Whether it be now or later, know that justice will be served. #justicetoall
