Daily Meditations of a Nurse Warrior
Why is it so difficult to follow certain rules and not others?
Rules are put in to place for a reason. Some follow them and some don't. One rule, in particular, the law of the Lord, is one that many struggle to follow; maybe because it can sometimes be difficult to understand and follow; but for the most part it is very truthful, relevant, real, and insightful, especially for those who delight in the law of the LORD, and meditate on his law day and night (see Psalm 1:1-2). So, if you want to live your best life, consider following His rules. #rulestoliveby

Daily Meditations of a Nurse Warrior
Why are rules necessary?
There are rules for a reason. Just as the world we live in has rules so does God have for us. Such rules, the Ten Commandments, (see Deuteronomy 5:7-21), are intended, if we let them, to provide us with wisdom for living well and to lead us to become more mature like Him (see Psalm 119:97-104; Ephesians 4:15; 2 Peter 3:18). Know that your efforts to follow His rules, even in the midst of heartache and suffering, will prove worthy. Therefore, remain steadfast and true to the rules that He has established. In doing so, you will live a life worthy of living. #rulestoliveby
