Why is it okay to have emotions?
Emotions, sometimes, have a tendency to reveal themselves as we struggle with our circumstances; and it is through the struggle that we begin to see our reality, the truth in its rawest form. These emotions may not be pretty, but they expose the realness of every situation; and when we chose to make ourselves vulnerable to our reality and truth, we have the ability to learn how to deal and cope with them. However you choose to deal with your struggles, know that "by day the LORD directs his love, [and] at night his song is with [you]-a prayer to the God of [your] life" (Psalm 42:8). If you allow Him to, he can help you with your struggles, because he knows how we feel. When we struggle, He struggles to. #itsokaytocry

Who doesn't like hearing good news?
Unfortunately, the world that we live in is filled with so much bad news. Instead of focusing on the bad, our world, more than ever before, needs to shed more light on the good. There is so much more good going on than the bad; and right now, what a better time to share any and all good news. Paul, in Philippians, also acknowledges the importance of sharing good news with others. He says: "Brothers and sisters, whatever...is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things" (4:8). Consider sharing it; you will never regret doing so. #goodnewsisalwaysworthsharing #neverholdback

What does it mean to be truly free and to "go out and frolic like well-fed calves" (Malachi 4:2)?
Freedom is a blessing. Free to all people, (see Luke 4:16-21), but many disregard because they only trust in themselves (see Malachi 4:1-2). Fortunately, for those of us who revere God's name, (see 4:2), and covet His standards, by living faithfully, (see 1:12-14; 3:5-9), we can freely experience true joy, especially when "the sun of righteousness [rises] with healing in its rays" (4:2). If you enjoy being joyful and free, consider frolicking. #frolickfreely

Consider the following questions: How well do you communicate with others? & Why is it important to be heard and understood?
It becomes very difficult to function at home or work, even socially, when we can not communicate with another. Confusion, frustration, discontent, and anger, among other things, begins to set in, and much suffers. In order to avoid such disconnect, consider turning to someone who knows your heart, soul, and mind. With Him, there are no misunderstandings; and when or if we do, "we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him" (Romans 8:28), even when it comes to "our weakness[es]" (8:26-27). He understands us that well. #consciouscommunication

Consider the following questions: How truthful are you? &. Why is it important to be truthful?
The truth, sometimes, can become difficult to find, especially when it becomes hidden or embellished, even one-sided. As you consider the truth, even your own, "do not spread false reports" (Exodus 23:1). When we are truthful with ourselves and others, we protect ourselves from "follow[ing] the crowd in doing wrong" (23:2). #alwaystruthful

How are you perceived?
There is very little objectivity, if any, when it comes to perception of ourselves and others. Take Zaccheus, for instance. He was a tax collector and perceived as a traitor because of how heavily he taxed his own people. Regardless of others perceptions, "[Jesus said], Zaccheus, come down immediately. I must stay at your house today." (Luke 19:5) Be it a tax collector or social outcast, the Lord will never reject you for who you are. Instead, He only wants to help us. #nojudgment #onlyredemption

How much can you take, before you break?
As much as we would like them to, life's problems never stop. Problems will always be there; but we don't have to deal with them alone. Jeremiah reveals his resilience, through his journey, (see Jeremiah 11:18; 37:15-16; 38:6), because of God's promise to him, and also to us. He tells to "not be afraid of them, for [he is] with you and will rescue you" (1:8); and "never will [he] leave you; never will [he] forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5). In say this, don't ever get yourself to the point of breaking, because you have options. He will help you face whatever problems come your way. #bettertogether #facinglifetogether

How impactful are your interactions with others?
Whether we think so or not, each and every interaction that we have with others has the ability to impact their lives. With this in mind, it is my hope that my daily interactions with you, as well as yours with others, have the "aroma of Christ" (2 Corinthians 2:15) and are able to "spread the aroma of the knowledge of [Christ]" (2:14), be it an encouraging word or a smile, because you never know who may need it. #mindfulconsideration

Yesterday, I shared a story with you, a life changing one; and because of this experience, God has continued to help me. He has told me to "not dwell on the past" (Isaiah 43:18), but to move forward. In doing so, He has instilled the courage in me to shift my sight, direction, and efforts towards living a happier and healthier life. With this thinking, I am refreshed and now have a very clear vision of my life. Thanks be to God, "I am doing a new thing!" (43:19); and encourage you to do the same. #tonewbeginnings & #healthyliving

Have a story to tell?
Everyone has a story; some share them and some don't. Speaking of stories, I have one too; and am going to "tell [you] how much the Lord has done for [me] and how he has had mercy on [me]" (Mark 5:19). I am here, today, because of Him. Just over three years ago, I suffered from Takosubo Cardiomyopathy aka "a broken heart," after being a victim of incivility, within Nursing, for many years. Because of this life altering occurrence, I have since become an entrepreneur, published a book, created a product line with authentic one-of-a-kind products, and most importantly write and talk to the world, every day, with my daily meditations, such as this, to try and help others live their best possible lives. Consider sharing your story. You might just be able to help influence or save the life of another for doing so. #theriskisworththereward
