Why is it okay to have emotions?
Emotions, sometimes, have a tendency to reveal themselves as we struggle with our circumstances; and it is through the struggle that we begin to see our reality, the truth in its rawest form. These emotions may not be pretty, but they expose the realness of every situation; and when we chose to make ourselves vulnerable to our reality and truth, we have the ability to learn how to deal and cope with them. However you choose to deal with your struggles, know that "by day the LORD directs his love, [and] at night his song is with [you]-a prayer to the God of [your] life" (Psalm 42:8). If you allow Him to, he can help you with your struggles, because he knows how we feel. When we struggle, He struggles to. #itsokaytocry

In need of a good cry?
Tears do not just signify sorrow and sadness. They, too, can represent joy, love and gratitude, just as they did for a woman who "stood behind [Jesus] at his feet weeping, [and] began to wet his feet with her tears. Then she wiped them with her hair, kissed them and poured perfume on them" (Luke 7:38). So, the next time your face starts to gets a little damp, do not be embarrassed, because there is no shame in shedding a tear. #ItsOkayToCry
