What will it take for you to believe?

It took the Israelites "[standing] at the foot of the mountain while it blazed with fire to the very heavens, with black clouds and deep darkness" (Deuteronomy 4:11). "Then the LORD spoke" (4:12); and as he spoke, with no form, He made believers of many (see Exodus 34:6-7). So, when circumstances present themselves, you might consider paying attention to them, because they might be trying to tell you something that may make you a believer, especially if you aren't already. #attentiongrabbers & #believinginHim

How loved are you?

To be loved is one of life’s greatest, if not the greatest gift of all; and be it trouble, hardship, persecution, famine, nakedness, danger or sword (see Romans 8:35), we are still loved; and “neither death nor life…nor anything else in all creation” (8:38-39) will ever stop God loving you. So, if you ever question being loved, know that you are and will always receive His never ending and unconditional love. #LovedAlways❤️#ANWAdvocatingForHealthyLivesHomesAndWorkEnvironments

How often do you notice the view? The worlds landscape is one of the magnificent proportions; and everything that you see, He created. Receiving a first hand account of such splendor was Job (see chapter 35); and afterwords commented, in amazement, to the Creator, how he “can do all things” (42:2). Might you consider taking the time to notice and appreciate the view. #TakeItAllIn❤️#ANWAdvocatingForHealthyLivesHomesAndWorkEnvironments

Even in a world filled with chaos and disconnect, there is still good news to be had; because, long ago, “what God promised our ancestors he has fulfilled for us…by raising up Jesus” (Acts 13:32–33). It is because of this promise that we are able to enjoy our freedom from sin and evil. So, consider sharing this good news with others. #SpreadTheGoodNews❤️ #ANWAdvocatingForHealthyLivesHomesAndWorkEnvironments

Daily Meditations of A Nurse Warrior

There are moments when we feel that we are fighting an uphill battle with no relief in sight; and when this happens, we have a tendency to either isolate, hide or disconnect from the world. Elijah, too, also had these similar feelings. He felt like “the only [[prophet] left” (1 Kings 19:10). Fortunately for both of us, we are never alone, because He will always be present and available to us during and through our challenges and obstacles. #InItTogether❤️ #ANWAdvocatingForHealthyLivesHomesAndWorkEnvironments

What makes you real?

Not that it should matter what another thinks about you but many chose to be someone that they are not for fear of rejection. If this is the kind of life that you live, might you consider finding someone who appreciates and loves you for the way that you are, real and authentic, not fake. Know that it is when you put your faith in Him that you become one in the same, complementary, seamless and fruitful. "[He] is the vine; and you are the branches" (John 15:5). #TheRealDeal

What do you have that deserves your praise and thanks?

There is much to be thankful for and deserving of our praise. For me, it is a home, food, clothing, transportation, a job, and most importantly my family. With this good fortune, every day, I "give praise to the LORD, [and] proclaim his name; mak[ing] known among the nations what he has done" (1 Chronicles 16:8). Now, it is your turn. #praiseworthy

Consider the following questions.

Every day, ...

How well do you dress? How much does it matter what you wear? & Why should you care about what you wear?

Our character is just like the clothes that we wear. When we chose to dress well, we "as God's chosen people..." chose to clothe ourselves "with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear[ing] with each other and forgiv[ing] one another...And over all these virtues put on love" (Colossians 3:13-14); and when we do not, we tarnish His and our good name. So, as you consider what to wear, "whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus" (3:17). #wearitwell

What is wrong with the ordinary, common and routineness of life?

Nothing, nothing at all. How we choose to live our lives is all in the eye of the beholder, thereby allowing them to create their own joy. Yes, we can get caught in ruts, but this doesn't mean that our lives become meaningless or less joyful when such things happen. Take King Solomon, the wisest of kings, for instance. He tried to buy his joy and in all that he bought he still remained bored (see Ecclesiastes 2:4-9, 11). What Solomon didn't consider, and didn't have to buy, was God. When Solomon "remember[ed] [his] Creator" (2:1), he was able to find his joy again. Whatever is mundane and meaningless in your life, consider including Him to help you find your joy. #ameaningfulandjoyfullife
