Daily Meditations of a Nurse Warrior

How aware are you of your surroundings? In order to see the big picture, Colossians encourages us to "Set our [your] minds on things above, not on earthly things" (3:2), because when our eyes are wide open, we develop a keener sense of our surroundings, especially spiritually. #takeitallin

Daily Meditations of A Nurse Warrior

How often do you notice the view? The worlds landscape is one of the magnificent proportions; and everything that you see, He created. Receiving a first hand account of such splendor was Job (see chapter 35); and afterwords commented, in amazement, to the Creator, how he “can do all things” (42:2). Might you consider taking the time to notice and appreciate the view. #TakeItAllIn❤️#ANWAdvocatingForHealthyLivesHomesAndWorkEnvironments

What do you see in life's landscape, especially your own?

Might it be the stars that wink at you, the moon that smiles at you or hearing the thunder during God's bowling match. Life's landscape, even our own, speaks to us, especially when we pay attention. For one day, the landscape will change, once again, and "you will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands" (Isaiah 55:12). As you consider the landscape, yours included, may you take a moment to see, enjoy and change it, if necessary. #TakeItAllIn

Daily Meditations of A Nurse Warrior

How can you comprehend the magnitude of the world?

Amongst everything, you are only a speck in this great wide world, as He surrounds you, but separately, with both light and darkness (see Genesis 1:3-4). With this separation, you are shown the beauty of His creation, in every possible way. So, might you try, little by little, and take a moment, each day, to appreciate and give thanks, to Him, for allowing you to be here to enjoy and experience something so special and beyond comprehension. #TakeItAllIn
