How can you escape trouble?
You can run, but you can't hide; because God promises that "in this world you will have trouble" (John 16:33). With this promise, He is trying to gain our trust; and when we start to trust in Him we can stop running and hiding from our troubles, face them head on and begin to find rest and peace in Him. #NoMoreRunning

Who doesn't hold your wrongdoings against you?
The world has a tendency to hold any and all wrongdoings against us. Even as the world holds on to such wrongdoings, there is someone who "does not treat us as our sins deserve" (Psalm 103:10). Instead, He separates our sins "as far as the east is from the west" (103:12) and provides us with a fresh new start. #HeForgivesAndForgets

How clean are you?
We can still get dirty without getting dirty, because we are all sinners; and if we want to become clean, we are given the opportunity to be washed, sanctified and justified in His name (see 1 Corinthians 6:11). So, if you are feeling a bit dirty and need to be washed, might you turn to Him. #GetClean & #WashAwayTheDirt

What are you willing to do to get to where you are going?
Along the way, when trying to get to where you want to go, there are many hurdles and barriers that you will face, just as it was for those who wanted to enter the Most Holy Place (see Exodus 26:33). "Only the high priest could enter once a year" (Hebrews 9:7); and when they did, they had certain protocol to follow in order to enter (see Leviticus 16:3-4). So, whatever you seek in life, I hope that you choose to do the necessary work that is needed to get there. #NoShortCuts #DueDiligence & #Sacrifice #WorthIt

How hopeful are you?
There is no set schedule, when life decides to happen; and will happen without warning. Living with such unpredictability might bring us to ask ourselves about our hope. As we consider our hope, Peter shares us with some hopeful insight. Peter says that "He has given us new birth in to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead" (1 Peter 1:3); and when we live in hope, we live each and every day and face whatever circumstance comes our way, despite life's unpredictable nature. #AlwaysHopeful

How well do you conduct yourself on social media?
Social media has become a lifestyle, for many; and unfortunately, the various media platforms continue to be utilized in ways that raise cause for concern, such as criticism, hate, hostility, jealousy and negativity. So, if you can not say anything constructive or kind, I challenge you to not comment; but, if you choose to do so, do so with "compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience" (Colossians 3:12). #DontFuelTheFire #ExtinguishIt & #SetAPrecedence

What set of rules do you live by? & How well are they working for you?
Rules, either set by ourselves or another, are intended to serve a purpose; and if they are not working, might you consider another set, which are very simple and clear, God's rules. He tells us to "give up [our] violence and oppression and do what is just and right" (Ezekiel 45:9); and when we do so, we are able to live a life filled with love, joy and happiness. #RealAndHonestRules

What kind of foundation have you built for yourself?
Words have a way of influencing one's choices and can be the difference in the foundation that we create for ourselves. We can either listen to words, hopefully His Words, and "[put] them in to practice...like a wise man who built his house on the rock" (Matthew 7:24) or hear His Words but not choose to put them in to practice, "like a foolish man who built his house on sand" (7:26). So, whichever foundation that you have created for yourself and think that it may still need some work, might you turn to Him to help you strengthen it. #AFaithfulAndSoundFoundation

Consider the following questions.
Who loves you? & What is love?
God, the one who opens His hand and satisfies the desires of every living thing; is righteous in all of His ways and faithful in all that He does; and is always near (see Psalm 145:16-18). When we know Him, we know what it is to be loved; and "the Lord watches over all who love him" (145:20). #TrueLove

What will it take to become your best self?
Decisions and vows, alone, will not get you your best self, but having faith in Him will (see Colossians 3:12-14). Such faith brings a new and fresh perspective of everything, which allows us to let go of the past (see 3:5-9) and move forward, in an effort to make us whole (see 3:10; Titus 3:5). So, if the "Fresh Start Effect" is not working for you, might you try the "Fresh God Effect" that has been around for centuries and gives anyone who believes in Him many fresh new starts in order to find their best self. #FindYourBestSelf
