What can praying do for you?

Whether it be for comfort, companionship or concern, we can reach out to Him, in prayer, morning, noon or night. He is always available and ready to help. So, if or when you decide to pray, "pray continually" (1 Thessalonians 5:17), and "in all circumstances" (5:16-18), for God is good and will answer each one. #PrayerPower

What is keeping you from focusing?

It is easy to get distracted; and when distractions occur, we have a tendency to lose focus when we need it most. It is when we spot and focus on Him, the "Rock Eternal" (Isaiah 26:4), that we become "steadfast" because of his commitment to us and his ability to "keep [us] in perfect peace" (26:3). Consider letting Him help you focus on what matters most and not on what you can't change and is weighting you down. #DialItIn

What does it take to be successful?

Many seek success, but are unwilling to do the necessary work it takes to be successful. But, if we are willing to work, Joshua shares several tips, from God, on how to be successful. The first two are to "be strong and very courageous" (1:7); and the third is to "be careful to obey all the law...do not turn from it to the right or to the left...meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful" (1:7-8). Ready to be challenged and work? #NoShortCuts #OnlyHardWork

Who do you see?

Many exist but are not seen. Very little time, if any, is taken to see others for who and what they are; and consequently, they are never given a chance to be known or acknowledged. Such a person who had the ability to see others was Barnabas. Barnabas took the time to see people, in particular Saul and Mark, even though both had a history, one for persecuting believers (Acts 9:3) and the other for being a deserter (see 15:36). Regardless of these men's flaws, Barnabas still recognized the potential in them. So, as you see others, might you take the time to get to know them better or give them a second chance, like Barnabas did, (see 2 Timothy 4:11), because you might just be pleasantly surprised with what you see. #TakeTheTime & #TakeAChance

Whom do you turn to for wisdom so that you can make wise decisions?

Many view young people as young and foolish and not knowing much as opposed to those who are older and are deemed wiser because of their age and supposed years of experience. In most cases, this may be true, but in some of them, not. It is when "the wise listen to advice" (Proverbs 12:15), that age matters not, and has no bearing on youth disrespecting their elders (see 6:20-23). What we should concern ourselves with is the "the way of fools" (12:15). So, if you find yourself receiving wisdom from someone that you might not consider as being wise, might you consider giving them a chance, because you might just learn something valuable and worthy of receiving. I hope you consider all ages. #NeverTooProud

If you have the opportunity to help another, what are you willing to wait on or forego?

We all have wants and desires; but if we know Him, we know that he meets our every need. So, when the opportunity arises to help another, we are urged, by Paul, to "not conform to the pattern of this world; but be transformed by the renewing of [our] mind" (Romans 12:2); and when we consider doing so, our character and demeanor will change and be filled with great humility and kindness. #BeChanged & #BeBlessed

In need of some LOVE?

There is nothing greater or more powerful than love; and to show us why is Song of Songs. Song of Songs shares the magnitude and intensity of loves power with us. In 8:6, Solomon says that "love is as strong as death"; and again, in 8:6, that love "burns like a blazing fire, like a mighty flame"; and lastly, in 8:7, "many waters cannot quench love". So, might you today and every day LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, because love is all you need. #LOVEAlways & #HappyValentinesDay

Thinking you are not being recognized or appreciated for all the work that you do?

Think again. Nothing that you do goes unnoticed. He does not miss anything; and sees all. Hebrews reminds us that "God is not unjust; [and] he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them" (Hebrews 6:10). So, if you want to be recognized and appreciated, consider "imitat[ing] those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised" (6:12). #WellNoted & #KeepUpTheGreatWork

What is it that you must see in order to believe?

It is very difficult, for many, to rely on faith alone. It is something, possibly, fear of the unknown, that keeps them from believing. Without faith, we miss seeing everything, because it is our faith, in Him, that allows us to see everything. So, when you decide to put your trust in Him, just like David did, when he fought and won against Goliath, a Philistine champion, (see 2 Corinthians 5:32), then "[you are able] to live by faith, [and] not by sight" (5:7). #AFaithfulFollower

Who doesn't like to be acknowledged and reassured by their their family, especially their father?

Be it a pat on the back, a nod or an "I'm proud of you", there is nothing better than to be acknowledged or receive reassurance from a father for what you do. For those who do not have such a father figure in their life, they have the option of another who will also do the same. Just as the Lord reaasured His Son, when being baptized by John, He said: "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased" (Matthew 3:17). As He did and does for His Son, He also does for us, too, because we are also His children. Might you consider Him. #OurFather
