What will it take for you to ask for help?

As much as most of us want to, we just can't do it all alone, no matter how hard we try. There are times when we need help; and know that when you do, it is okay to ask. We are encouraged to "carry each other's burdens" (Galatians 6:2), because "He makes the whole body fit together perfectly" (Ephesians 4:16 NLT), for we all have something to contribute to each other. You do not have to go it alone. So, might you consider reaching out. #NeverTooProud

How can we show others that we care?

There are many ways that we can show that we care. For instance, we show that we care when we stand by and up for a colleague, back up a teammate or do our job well so that another can continue where we left off. Paul extends his support of such caring actions as he tells "each of us [that we] should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up" (Romans 15:2); and when we do so, we leave an impression, a "witness mark", that will never be forgotten. #MakeYourMark

How welcoming, hospitable and inclusive are you of others?

Planning for a gathering, such as a banquet, takes a great deal of time, energy and thought; and in doing so, one of those tasks is deciding who to include and invite. As you prepare for such a gathering or any other, might you consider "invit[ing] the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed" (Luke 14:13-14). #BeingThoughtful & #Considerate

What stains are you unable to get out?

Some stains are fairly easy to get out, but there are others, such as a stained soul, that are not. It is when we come to Him with a humble and repentant heart that He will take our scarlet or crimson stains, sins, and turn them either white as snow or like wool (see Isaiah 1:18). Now that you know what it takes to get such a difficult stain out, might you seek such a solution so that it can be removed and renewed. #ACleanSoul

How do you handle uncertainty?

Uncertainty can bring a great deal of fear, anxiety and discomfort to many, but it does not have to. What we can do is "fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, [and] what is unseen is eternal" (2 Corinthians 4:18). Might you take these uncertain moments and see them through an unseen lens, instead of the seen, and here you will see the "eternal glory", in your uncertainty, as well as struggles, "that far outweighs them all" (4:17). #CertaintyInTheUnseen

What is your pulse?

Even in chaos, there can still be calm, even peace. We need not worry when chaos occurs, because when we trust in Him and remain steadfast, He will keep us in perfect peace (see Isaiah 26:3). For He will humble "those who dwell on high" and "levels it, "the lofty city", to the ground" and "casts it down to the dust" (26:5). So, if it is peace that you seek, especially in chaos, lean upon Him. #BeAtPeace

How do you handle your shortcomings?

When life becomes too much to handle and takes us to our knees, because of our shortcomings, we are encouraged to "cast [our] anxiet[ies] on him because he cares for [us]" (1 Peter 5:7). Then, when we acknowledge them and ask for help, we will be given the strength and wisdom that we need to get through whatever we can't do on our own. #AskHim

How is your integrity?

Whatever we do, whether it be on the baseball field, at home or work, we have the ability to do what is right by our teammates, family members and colleagues; and when we do so with decency and unity and not dishonesty and division, we are doing so with integrity. Confirming such actions is Proverbs. Proverbs says that "The integrity of the upright guides them" (11:3); and, if not, "the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity" (11:3). There may be short term gains, with the lack of integrity, but in the long run they never succeed and fail miserably. Might you consider your integrity and how you use it in your life, especially towards others. #Unify

How hard do you have to look for something?

It all depends on what you are looking for. If it is God that you seek, you don't have to look very hard. You can find Him right by your side, by just asking, if you want Him to be. The only thing that He requests is that when you seek to find Him you do so "with all your heart" (Jeremiah 29:13). How easy is that? #AlwaysFound

Why show favoritism?

Regardless of our status, not one person is more important than the other, especially in God's eyes. Each one of us was created "in his own image" (Genesis 1:27), and He "treats everyone the same" (Romans 2:11). For those who believe, James reminds us that we "must not show favoritism" (2:1). So, as you consider your favorites, if you have any, might you consider His thoughts on having favorites and showing favoritism. Now, as you see others, how will you treat them? #TheSameOrDifferent
