How well do you see?
If you want to see well, you have two options. You can either live in the dark and see very little to nothing or you can live in the light and see everything very clearly. So, if you choose to live in the light, He will enlighten your understanding (see Psalm 119:130). Might you consider allowing Him to brighten your path as he is "the light of the world" (John 8:12). #LetThereBeLight

How appreciated are you?
There are many jobs that require shift work. Night shift, in particular, is not easy as it can mess with your well-being, such as eating and sleeping; but on the flip side, can teach you many invaluable skills, such as learning how to think, as well as problem solve, quickly on your feet and being able to manage your time wisely with the limited resources at your disposal. Noting such work is a psalmist. The psalmist says to "Praise the LORD, all you servants of the LORD, who minister by night in the house of the LORD. Lift up your hands in the sanctuary and praise the LORD" (134:1-2). In saying this, know that you are seen and appreciated; and most importantly, "may the LORD bless you" (134:3). #TheNightWatch

What kind of choices do you make for yourself?
Many, if not all, of the choices that we make affect our very being; and when we choose to continue to make poor ones, we set ourselves up for a world of difficulties, along with hurt and pain, just as the people of Judah. Such people told Jeremiah that they would "not listen to the message [that he had] spoken to [them] in the name of the LORD!" (44:16). After hearing this, Jeremiah replied "Because you have burned incense and have sinned against the LORD and have not obeyed him or followed his law or his decrees or his stipulations, this disaster has come upon you" (44:23). When we, too, choose to make such choices, we reap the consequences for our actions. Might you consider His counsel, as you make choices for yourselves so that they are good ones. #MakeGoodOnes

What is the test of one's true character?
It is when we also acknowledge the not so good moments in our lives, which can leave us isolated, lonely and desperate, that reveal our truest character; and in order to help us deal with such struggles and rise above them is James. He instructs us to "consider it pure joy" when we "face trials of many kinds" (1:2); and "to let perseverance finish the work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything" (1:4). Consider allowing yourself to stay grounded in your faith, in both good and bad times, so that when these struggles occur you will become stronger and a better person each and every day (see 15:5). #TrueCharacterRevealed

How's your "song"?
We all have a tendency to lose our "song", along the way, especially when we choose to disobey; and for this disobedience, we run the risk of being judged, just as the corrupted people who were warned by Zephaniah (see Zephaniah 3:1-8). With corruption at hand, Zephaniah's people were captured and exiled, along with losing their song (see Psalm 137:4). Even knowing our sinful behavior, He still takes "great delight in you, in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing" (Zephaniah 3:17). Might you consider allowing Him to help you restore your "song". #FindYourSongAgain

How old are you?
Might you be 10, 20, 30 or 60, who cares-go and get it! Age is irrelevant when it comes to getting what you desire and dream. Paul reminds us to not "let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity" (1 Timothy 4:12). When you live life as such, you have the chance to reach your desires and dreams and maybe even change the world. Please don't let age hold you back, because it is only a number. #WhosCounting

Who protects and watches over you, when confronted with opposition, adversaries or enemies?
A sense of vulnerability, insecurity and unease is felt when faced with opposition, adversaries or enemies; but we need not face them alone. David asked God for such help from his enemies and was saved (see 2 Samuel 22:4). "He reached down from on high and took hold of [David]" (22:17). Might you consider asking Him, as well, to come to your aid so that you too don't have to face your opposition, adversaries or enemies alone. #FindSafety & #BeSafe

How "dusty" are you?
We were all born in to this world a little "dusty", just as Adam was (see Psalm 103:14 & 2:7); and with time, maybe even more so because of our flaws, shortcomings and frailties. Fortunately, "He knows how we are formed [and] remembers that we are dust" (103:14) and is willing to help us remove the dust that we wear. Might you consider asking Him to help you with your dust. #ACleanHouse

How can we come together, become unified?
Despite our differences, we can still find common ground. You might say that differences can even compliment one another. None the less, whatever it is that matters to us, despite our differences, we are encouraged to "make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification" (Romans 14:19). So, might you set aside your differences and come together for the greater good of all, just as Jesus did (see 14:20). #WhatMatters

How can we show our gratitude, when it comes to the planet earth?
For us, He created the flowers, grass, pastures, plains, blue skies, sun, moon and stars, and so much more, to enjoy and inhabit. In doing so, He also gave us the responsibility "to work it and take care of it" (Genesis 2:15), just as Adam and Eve did until they were removed from the garden of Eden that provided them with food, shelter and beauty (see 2:8-9). So, as you take in and consume such goodness, might you also lend a hand to maintain such an incredible gift. #Appreciate & #Maintain #HappyEarthDay2022
