PSFound this, yesterday - and it reminds me a lot! of the amazingly wide range of 'philosophies' that have found their ways to Harbin in the forms of books (or people) like this .... right out of 1960s and '70s thinking ... liking this ... and will explore further. ... eclectic, and somewhat New Age even :)
The Inner of Game of Tennis (1972)Timothy Gallwey
"A phenomenon when first published in 1972, the Inner Game was a real revelation. Instead of serving up technique, it concentrated on the fact that, as Gallwey wrote, "Every game is composed of two parts, an outer game and an inner game." The former is played against opponents, and is filled with lots of contradictory advice; the latter is played not against, but within the mind of the player, and its principal obstacles are self-doubt and anxiety. Gallwey's revolutionary thinking, built on a foundation of Zen thinking and humanistic psychology, was really a primer on how to get out of your own way to let your best game emerge. While I've explored this before, I think long arm strokes on the SSP bellows is one technique to even out the blip re the other bag arm at full bag to less full bag ... how to best learn this steadiness of drones as meditation WITH LONG ARM pressure strokes (on both arms) ... What do you think?

Memorizing piping music, from sheet music, is a clear way to "never make a sound without hearing it first; hear it in your mind" which I think you've expressed in a number of other ways in the past with me.I'd like too to work also on playing the 4 Piobaireachd in the CoP Yellow Tutor - Piobaireachd Vol. 4 ... with a focus on beauty, perhaps with parallels with what you 'do' with Ceol Beag or light music, regarding your extraordinary bagpiping.

was enjoyable, (if a little self-conscious due to the recording, and beginning this exploration) ... but beginning around 2hours and 32 minutes, it's in tune with an A chanter (SSP or practice chanter too) ... Would welcome your thinking about noodling with this ... a bit out of the box ... and yet I can also hear the great potential with this Allman Bros' tune for noodling with SSP or practice chanter !
Now how to create such riffing or noodling band music-making opportunities for each of these different 10 or so Piobaireachd (below) I wonder ... (And are these Piobaireachd in different keys?) ... and what kind of related-to-this-song back-up band rhythms, and music, with hypothetical AI machine learning I wonder ?

We enjoyed engaging with you through the monthly Quaker Leadings in Higher Education events, which will resume shortly. We hope that you are healthy -- that you, your loved ones, and your colleagues are coping well with the ever-lingering pandemic. Although we are holding up fine, a sustained return to more normal conditions would be welcomed.

Membership dues ensure the continuation of the annual conference — next year at Earlham — and its sense of renewed, collegial community. This important and timely theme will also serve as the unifying thread for a related edition of the FAHE Quakers in the Disciplines book series.
While our annual conference remains the highlight of our year and the accompanying book provides a compelling scholarly venue, our online journal, Quaker Higher Education, provides thought-provoking articles at other times of the year. Also, during 2020-2021 we launched our successful, monthly, Zoom, seminar series, Quaker Leadings in Higher Education. And I'm also not suggesting that an endangered Amur leopard could wear such a watch and become as young as the leopard cub or kitten in the main pic behind title, - which would be wild indeed - but I am wondering whether, via such a device, we'd be able to DIY wiki-edit our own genomes in something like Wikitree single family tree database software ... https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/MacLeod-2524 ... Into what we wanted ... & even for all 7.8 billion people (re equality too!:) Would you want to be 30 yo again at 220 body age - and healthier than now?:)

Entering into a kind of 'oneness with piping's playing space ... Much to teach and learn (drawing on Yoga too :) in these regards :)

I think the Desiderata addresses this to some degree ... Is it psychology academically then? Maybe not ... philosophy? ... Maybe not ... writing and thinking and almost poetry - perhaps ...
I recall George talking about the idea of someone suffering saying philosophically and clinically 'she or he is suffering' ... And as a conscious problem solver ... George thought in interesting ways to help people not suffer. Did George suffer mentally ? Perhaps I'd hypothesize - since he went into psychiatry, for example.
So the Desiderata may be psychology, and which poem I learned from George ... just some further thoughts :)

I'm writing this statement to in a sense donate World University and School's ~200 online MIT OCW-centric Universities and 7,139 known living languages' wiki Schools to Google for co-development. Since ~2007 I've been developing WUaS, and while we've made considerable progress, I've come to see, in seeking an information technology team, that World Univ & Sch's goals most align with Google's offerings, - of all the amazing companies and universities out there as potential collaborators. And further, I think that Google could very much benefit not only with regard to your goals, but also remuneratively in working together.
It's particularly Google's mission "to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful" with regard to not only matriculating classes of high achieving students in all 200 countries with speakers of all 7,139 known living languages for online free-to-students' accrediting degrees - Bachelor, PhD, Law, MD, and IB high school or similar diplomas - that WUaS seeks to align with Google's goals, but also in the following ways. WUaS seeks to build out online Music Schools - for real real time music-making - for All musical instruments ever, wiki-add a new Musical Instrument subject page, or music subject - in All known languages ever (more than 7,139 living languages), but also with online All Libraries ever, in all known living languages, with all their books and resources, and All Museums ever, in all known living languages, through time. All of this, in terms of organizing the world's information and making it universally accessible would find form in a single iterating realistic virtual earth / universe that anyone could add to and program in; think Google Street View with time slider, Maps, Earth, TensorFlow AI, Translate, with realistic avatar bots of you and I even (for tele-robotic surgery, for ex.), and at the cellular and molecular/atomic levels too.
Regarding the organizing the world's information and Google, WUaS focuses on these 12 areas:
Each Nation State as a major online University - All ~200 countries, each a major University, with free-to-students' Bachelor, Ph.D., Law, M.D. and I.B. high school degree (and, in addition to prioritizing our pilot UN languages, WUaS seeks to prioritize Africa's ~54 countries, in their main and official languages, in this build out);
Languages - In all 7,139 living languages + - each a wiki Uni or Sch;
You at World University - for all 7.8 billion people, each a Wikidata Pin #, as wiki teachers and learners, and for free, accrediting best STEM CC-4 OCW-centric, online Bach., Ph.D., Law, M.D. and I.B. degrees;
Subjects - wiki-edit a page, create, or start a Subject at WUaS with the SUBJECT TEMPLATE;
Courses & Schools - e.g. best STEM CC-4 OCW: http://ocw.mit.edu/, and Yale OYC - http://oyc.yale.edu/ - and medical and law schools, in 200 countries' main languages;
Music Schools - planned for all instruments, and for all languages as wikis; join a video conference call for real, real time music-making, as well as to learn or teach face-to-face;
Library resources - all libraries in all 7,139 known living languages first as wiki pages (and also in Google Street View with time slider, Maps, Earth, TensorFlow, Translate, etc.);
Museums - all museums in all 7,139 known living languages as wiki pages (and also in Google Street View with time slider, Maps, Earth, TensorFlow, Translate, etc.);
Hardware Resource Possibilities - e.g. a #RealisticVirtualEarthForRobotics or a #RealisticVirtualEarthForLego;
Educational Software - in all ~200 countries' main languages;
Foundation at World University and School - eg WUaS Mission, Board, WUaS Process regarding Monthly Business Meeting (conducted loosely in the manner of Friends / Quakers);
Research - science and STEAM, e.g. in 1 #RealisticVirtualEarth regarding

#RealisticVirtualEarthForArchaeology
Regarding further WUaS organizing of information, and on the commercial Educational Services' side, WUaS is developing the Academic Press at WUaS with machine translation in all 7,139 known living languages +, and with Actual-Virtual, Physical-Digital Bookstores / Cafes, Computer Stores, Robotics' Stores, Hospital Technologies' Distribution Centers, in ~200 countries and for speakers 7k languages.
In conclusion, in addition to WUaS being the greatest universities-centric (e.g. MIT, Harvard, Yale, Cambridge, Oxbridge, and Stanford), for collaboration especially, WUaS is a wiki, for open teaching and learning. WUaS significantly seeks to empower all 7.8 billion people on the planet to teach and learn to one another - highest quality free universal education that's wiki - and thus further let the people co-contribute to wiki-organizing the world's information regarding Google's goals.
