Hey, Kids!

As a special treat, here’s the original black and white art and the digital color art side-by-side comparison of the new San Diego Comicon art print. As you can see, Brandon Peterson, did a great job turning my black and white art into a color masterpiece.

The print is $20.

Remember this print is limited to 250 (signed and numbered), so first come first served.

I’ll be at Booth #4907 (Big Wow Art)

Boom! Hot off the press. Here’s the annual art print that I’ll be selling at the San Diego Comic-Con.

I had fun drawing this cheeky parody of Star Trek, one of my favorite sci-fi shows. My boy, Brandon Peterson, did another stellar job coloring it.

It was interesting to see all the details on the costumes and the props while studying the reference photos. I couldn’t believe how simple and crude the captain’s chair was. I just cracked up looking at all the 1960’s beehive hair-dos on the female cast. Talk about walking down memory lane. Despite the shoe-string budget and the dated look, Star Trek still told great emotional and entertaining stories. And this print is my nod to that great classic show. Live Long and Prosper.

Print size - 11″ X 17″

Price - $20

Where - Booth #4907 (Big Wow Art)

Quantity - Signed and numbered 250 prints.

Well, it’s official. Just got word from my printer, the first Liberty Meadows calendar is being printed as we speak. The calendars will arrive at my doorstep Friday afternoon at the earliest and Monday morning at the latest.

The calendar is 8.5″ x 22″. It’s a full-color 13 months calendar (January 2013 - January 2014). I’ve printed a limited amount since I have no idea how this calendar will sell. So first come, first served.

I’ll be selling two things at San Diego Comicon this year: Liberty Meadows calendar ($20) and Liberty Meadows art print ($20).

I’ll be at Big Wow Art, BOOTH 4907, at the far left hand side of the room at San Diego. Near Adam Hughes booth and Mike Mignola booth.

Power Outage!

FRANK CHO Liberty Meadows Brandy

FRANK CHO - Liberty Meadows Brandy Liberty Meadows calender - click to view full image

A massive thunderstorm ripped through our region and since last night, we’ve lost all power. I’m hoping to god that I didn’t lose any files during the thunderstorm.

I’m literally drawing my Marvel pages and writing this blog at a sushi restaurant down the road. (Sushi Q, 6325 Washington Blvd (Route 1), Elkridge, MD 21075) Sushi Q may be my new work studio until the power comes back on.

Picture of the day:

Another Brandy picture from the calendar. I feel like the cat right now without electricity and AC.
