I didn’t realize that San Diego is in just 2 weeks, a week earlier than normal. And my Liberty Meadows calendar is not ready.
The printer needs all the final file by today so that they can have the calendars printed and in my hand by end of next week. If I miss this deadline, I’ll have nothing to sell at San Diego Comicon and that whole trip will be a waste.
I hate to do this but I may have to pull out the unfinished pin-ups and replace them with my old classic Liberty Meadows comic book covers, and just save the new Liberty Meadows images for next year’s calendar.

Good lord, it’s hot as hell here. It’s hot and muggy like Oprah’s underpants.
The show’s been good and busy. Since I didn’t have much to sell, I actually enjoyed hanging out and chatting with old friends. I managed to finish my two rare convention sketches without too much trouble.
(Hopefully someone will post a picture of them soon.)
Also I had time to work on my Liberty Meadows calendar pin-ups (Brandy at pool) and my Marvel work. So it was nice and relaxing all around.

Heads up, ladies. The long awaited Liberty Meadows Sundays Book 1 is out today in all fine stores. This volume collects the first 3 years of Liberty Meadows Sunday comic strips in chronological order. You can actually see the evolution of my art style from crappy to bad. I kid you not. Plus this volume has a cool sketch gallery section of my crappy art in pencil form.
The next volume, Liberty Meadows Sundays Book 2, will be out in November/December.
Liberty Meadows Calendar update: I’m still 2 pin-ups behind but I should have it printed and ready by San Diego in July.
Well, I’m off to Charlotte, North Carolina, for Heroes Con. Thank you all for inquiring about my sketch list for the show. The two sketch spots filled up fast. (Within 5 minutes.) I’m not taking any more sketch requests. Thanks again, guys. See you at the show.
