Violeta's "Super Enjoy" Layout
Hello everyone, my name is Violeta Scrap and I am so excited to share this layout with you using Amy Tangerine´s collections.

This layout is about my travel to Malaysia. I have used pictures from my printer INSTAX Share-SP2 for our Layouts, it is perfect to use small photos, to be able to place many photos in a Layout.

I had so much fun with this page and was surprised at how quickly it came together. I started out with a white sheet of cardstock and I decided to add my pictures.
On this layout, I used a combination of so many of my favorite things: small pictures, stickers, and a smattering of letters and stickers.
I really love playing with this collection, it´s so full of amazing products. This collection is absolutely amazing!

I cuted a word from one tag and used them in the page as ephemera. My title “Enjoy” was also made using Thickers from “Oh happy life” collection.

I really love mixing different materials so I included clear stickers, chipboard, stickers, enamels, Thickers and washi tape. Some of my top favorite elements in this collection are the golden words designs.
I´ve written my journaling with a black pen. I love the look of handmade journaling.

I hope you like my new project and you find inspiration here today. Thanks for stopping by!
Also, if there's something specific that you are struggling with, or if you have any doubt about scrapbooking, let me know in the comments and I'll try to help you.

Getting a new tee each month should be fun AND affordable. Thanks to your feedback, we were able to meet with our team and adjust the pricing without changing anything about the shirts’ quality, so more of you can join the par-tee. I can’t wait to see you all in these awesome tees! Last chance to get one of these designs!

More love. Please.

Heavy hearts. More love. Please. On the day of the horrible Vegas mass shooting, ellen tweeted this: "Care. Love. Be outraged. Be devastated. Just don’t give up. The world needs good humans today."
It's so sad the amount of heartache we have been put through recently, from the natural disasters to the unthinkable and senseless tragedies. I've spent a lot of time reflecting and trying to figure out even more ways to help, in addition to making donations. The amazing Jennifer McGuire has something coming up very soon that I am honored to be a part of, and as soon as she gives the go ahead, I'll let you know about it. I shared an article in my Instagram stories as it resonated with me so much, and so many of you (even those who aren't moms) really needed to read it. The article from the bump - The Vegas Shooting: One Mom's Perspective is worth the read.
For now, I am just trying to stay positive and do good where I can. I'm in NYC for Create Good and would love to see you. Stop by the free event while I am in the Mixbook booth this weekend to say hi. Also, there are still a few spots open for my DIY Stationery Workshop on Sunday!
Let's make good happen. And if you need a little pick me up, I have found that punching out a bunch of hearts from cardstock of different colors is quite an enjoyable process. Here's how I created the heart of hearts. I cut out a giant heart stencil from scratch paper and lightly traced around it onto the center of a sheet of patterned paper. From there, I grabbed the navy blue hearts and began building out the heart shape from the bottom up. To achieve the dimensional look, I folded each heart in half and only applied adhesive to the center. Each color was layered in two rows until I reached the top of the big heart!

A Clean Studio!
When I took this photo, I was savoring the moment while the studio was clean. Taking bets on how long it will take me to mess it up! In fact, by the time this post goes live, I’m pretty sure it’ll already look at least little less tidy. Mess is a natural part of having a crafty workspace (at least for me), but I did want to take a moment to show you some of the things I store on these shelves to keep things looking nice!

Probably the first thing that grabbed your attention in this photo is my rainbow of Holsterbrands holsters filled with supplies. They make different sizes, holsters that can hold hot tools like curling wands (you've probably seen me take it on my trips in my vlogs), and of course they come in a bunch of colors!
I store my roller stamps on the Tim Holtz Ranger craft spinner. Unfortunately, this item was discontinued. Having a stand like this is really nice though, because I can turn it around to see the different stamps instead of having them tucked away in a drawer.
On the shelf, I’ve piled up a stack of copies of my book, Craft A Life You Love! It was picked up by Abrams, a big publishing house, and I am so excited to be finishing up on a new, expanded edition set to come out Spring 2008. Keep an eye out for that!
I’ve displayed the phrase, “Make it your own” on my Heidi Swapp mini light box.
You might know how much I love Orly nail polish, so it probably doesn’t surprise you that I keep them displayed on my shelf. They’re pretty and colorful, so why not?
I’m also really excited about my Stitch Happy sewing machine by We R Memory Keepers. Look at the light minty blue and the pretty, natural wood base. It’s just a stunningly beautiful machine and I can’t wait to start sewing with it! I am most excited about using twine.
I hope you enjoyed this little tour of some of the organizers and other things I have displayed on my shelves to help me keep my studio tidy. Of course, messes are inevitable when crafts are involved, but I was happy to capture a moment where this section of my studio was neat.
I’d love to hear all about the ways that you keep your workspace organized! Do you have a particular strategy or maybe a product that helps you out? I’m looking forward to learning a few things from all of you.

DIY Trick-Or-Treat Doggy Bag + more!

Although Jack has gone through several phases of loving different television shows, one that has stayed in the lineup is PAW Patrol. It’s possible that being raised in a house with two Jack Russells has had some sort of influence on that, or perhaps it’s just because it’s an action-adventure preschool series starring a pack of lovable, hilarious and heroic puppies that work together on rescue missions. I remember consciously making an effort a couple years ago to learn each of the characters names, even though it seemed like something Jack picked up quite quickly. It also helped that one of the first toys he actually asked for when we were in Target one day was a Paw Patrol set where the characters transform. Though Jack’s favorite character may change on a daily basis, his love for the things they say and the adventures they embark on with Ryder, the tech savvy boy who helps them problem solve to get the job done, remains to this day.
Jack also loves that each pup brings a unique personality and skill to the team. You may have seen the incredible gifts Jack received as an early birthday present on my Instagram stories. Nickelodeon sent over multiple baskets full of Halloween PAW Patrol essentials available at Target, and Buster and Bamboo had to check it out too. Little did they know, they had their own surprise coming up too. Jack was SO excited to open the goodies.
Kids love any excuse to dress up in costume and I love any reason to come up with an easy and fun creative project. It’s always a bonus when your toddler wants to help you with your ideas too! With Halloween around the corner, we invited a couple friends over to play dress up and get ready for trick-or-treating with a fun DIY.
One of the ways we celebrated Jack’s birthday this year is by having a little party at preschool. We thought it would be fun to combine his love for PAW Patrol and my need for an easy DIY for this simple and fun “doggy bag” aka, the cutest trick-or-treat bags for a ruff ruff rescue - of candy! You can easily use this project to prepare for Halloween and it takes under 5 minutes to make.

Cute pictures aside, let’s get to what you’ll need for this DIY. You can find all of these Halloween essentials at Target.
SUPPLIES:
White bags PAW Patrol Masks PAW Patrol Fruit Snacks PAW Patrol Pure Growth Organic Chocolate Biscuits Markers
Simply write the child’s name on the bottom of the bag. Then you can stuff the bags with these yummy PAW Patrol fruit snacks and PAW Patrol pure growth organic breakfast biscuits. The PAW Patrol paper masks will get wrapped around the outside of the bag not only making a fun decoration, but also securing it. Love that the mask plays a couple roles before it gets worn!

It was such a fun and simple project, Jack then asked, “What else could we make?” I brought out the PAW Patrol Pumpkin Push-In Kits (Marshall and Chase are both available) and decided it would be best to use fake carvable pumpkins, which we also found at Target!

Giving him the choice of which pup to do first, he enthusiastically yelled, “Marshall!” You could follow the instructions, step-by-step and paint the pumpkins, but after Jack saw Marshall’s head on top, he said he wanted to paint it later and was so excited to get the legs on. I decided it would be best to put our own twist on it with foam alphabet stickers, knowing we could always paint the pumpkin at a later time.

To be honest, I think Jack was just looking forward to giving Marshall a big ol’ hug.

Washi tape is a great supply to have on hand because it’s pretty and colorful, but can also be removed easily. I set some guidelines up and Jack was eager to find the letters to stick onto the pumpkins.

Then using a Sharpie, I added some words.

As a total surprise to Bamboo and Jack, while letting the pumpkins dry outside, I dressed her up as Skye. Buster wasn’t having any part of the dress up game, but Jack loved seeing Bamboo in costume.

Jack was all too excited to try on his Marshall costume. I have actually never seen him so enthusiastic about wearing a costume before. I’m pretty sure helping out with these pumpkins added to the excitement. He still hasn’t chosen just which pup he wants to be for Halloween, and I have a feeling he will go back and forth quite a few times before deciding.

Then it was time for his friends to come over so he quickly changed to Chase, with equal enthusiasm. Once he had it on, he greeted his friends with a jump and “Chase is on the case!” (It’s one of the lines Chase uses regularly on the show.)

Zoey being the older sister, said that Melina loves the color pink, so she could be Skye. Though Everest isn’t in every episode, they all knew who the snow dog was, and Zoey couldn’t wait to put the costume on. Plus it was a bonus because her favorite color is purple. One of their favorite parts was that each of the Target PAW Patrol costumes has an exclusive sound button that says some of the pups’ favorite phrases. When you push Skye’s badge, it says, “This pup’s gotta fly!”, and Melina looks like she’s ready for take off right here.
This DIY can be more interactive and you can have your kids participate by decorating the back of the bags with cute Halloween colors or sayings. As we all know, “teamwork makes the dream work!”

These pups are fired up for a fun night (actually we usually go when it’s still pretty light out and then Jack loves coming back to hand out treats and seeing other costumes)! We will also be celebrating Halloween with a trip to the pumpkin patch next month. You can find all of these delightful Halloween essentials at Target. Let us know if you think Jack should dress up as Marshall or Chase and what you think of these easy Trick-Or-Treat DIYs in the comments below! Would love to also hear if you have any simple decorating ideas similar to the pumpkins!

Do all the good you can.
A couple weeks ago, my friend Carrie, who lives in Houston, reached out to me about a series idea for her blog, WEAR+WHERE+WELL. I have been feeling a bit overwhelmed with some really cool opportunities and projects lately (as you probably have figured out by my lack of posts) but I had to say yes to her for a number of reasons. First, she is doing amazing things for her hometown of Houston after the devastating hurricane. She has this great post about how you can continue to help. Second, even though I have loved my Motivational Monday series, I think it's time to move onto something else. Sometimes giving up on something doesn't make it a failure (I used to think this), but instead I now believe that giving up allows you ample room to recharge, grow and evolve. Love the twist she is putting on this and since she is serious about her blog and content and has similar values that resonate, I thought it would be a great opportunity to letter whatever quotes her team sent over. Here's the first in the series, and if you read nothing else today, I think Julie's words on WEAR+WHERE+WELL are incredibly moving and true. As is this quote:

Zinia's Accordion Minibook
Hello fangerines! It’s Zinia here and today I want to share with you a little minibook I created with the new Hustle & Heart collection by Amy Tangerine!

The idea came to me when I first saw the square cut apart sheet that comes in this collection. I thought that these 3x3 squares would be perfect as pages for a minibook. I decided to work in an accordion mini cause it’s fun and cute.
To create the base of the minibook I used two 12” long strips of paper and I cut them down to 3” wide. Then I folded my strips twice into an accordion shape and attached them together to make my minibook longer.

I really wanted to keep the whole project very simple and time friendly so to simplify the process I used one photo and one 3x3 square from the cut apart sheet for every spread.

To embellish my pages I used a combination of Hustle & Heart as well as a few bits from Oh Happy Life collection.

Although I wanted to keep things flat and avoid extra bulk on my pages, I couldn’t resist using the gorgeous suede bows from Hustle & Heart. They are my most favorite embellishment ever!

I also had a lot of fun with the clear stickers. Even though I usually prefer cardstock stickers, the sticker book from Hustle & Heart is absolutely amazing! There are a ton of pages and you get a many gold and white stickers which can be stuck on top of dark patterns and surfaces.

Violeta's Little Moments Layout
Hello everyone, my name is Violeta Scrap and today I want to share with you a layout I created using Amy´s collections.

This layout is about my travel to Malaysia. The layout I’m gonna share with you today is really sweet and whimsical. I used a mix of the two most recent collections Amy designed “Oh happy day” and “Oh a whim”.
Usually I print my photos with my Canon SELPHY, but I occasionally print at home, I use my INSTAX Share-SP2 It's great for printing from my iPhone, or from my computer.

I really love how fresh and whimsical this layout looks and the process of making it was nothing but enjoyable.

This time I wanted to create a white and pink layout, which make the perfect combination for me.
One of the things I love about using Amy’s collections is that they all have a similar vibe, so even though the color stories and icons may be different, they mix and match so beautifully with one another.

My title “Little Moments” was also made using Thickers from “Oh happy life” collection.
I really love mixing different materials so I included clear stickers, chipboard, stickers, enamels, Thickers and rubber shapes. I also fussy cut some donuts from one of the cut apart sheets and used them around the page as ephemera.

This design is really so easy and fun to make and as I said earlier you only need very minimal supplies.
I really hope you enjoyed it and you will give it a go.

Lenovo in the studio!

If you follow me on any of my social channels, then you likely already know about the collaboration I did with Lenovo for the Yoga 720. It was an awesome opportunity that was months in the making and took a team of over 15 people at my house to pull off! At one point during the 12 hour shoot day, I think we had half the crew in my teeny studio. It was an awesome experience and I will be posting the behind the scenes on my YouTube channel tomorrow!
You can check out the videos we filmed:

Would love to hear your thoughts! Also, since so many of you asked when I shared on Instastories, the dress is available here!
