Out and About with UPPAbaby
One of our favorite family activities is going for (socially-distanced) walks around our neighborhood or even along the beach. It’s nice to get out of the house, breathe some fresh air and do a little exploring and observing - you never know what you might find!

Last year, when I was researching car seats and strollers, I knew I wanted somewhat of an upgrade to what Jack had. I always found it easier to carry him in a carrier and then when he was big enough, to just take him for walks (and runs) in a jogging stroller. Juniper loves going for long walks now too. Now that she’s four and half months old (how did that happen?!), she’ll happily lean back in her UPPAbaby CRUZ V2 stroller (BRYCE) as we roll on down the sidewalk.

UPPAbaby makes it so easy to safely bring Juni along on all of our little adventures. We use the MESA infant car seat (the color is also BRYCE) in my SUV and it’s a snap (literally) to attach the car seat to the CRUZ V2 stroller.
The CRUZ V2 comes with a reversible, removal toddler seat that holds up to 50 pounds so it’ll grow with Juni. For newborns, you can also attach a bassinet or infant SnugSeat (like we do with the MESA infant car seat).

Some of my favorite features of the CRUZ V2:
Collapsing the stroller is easy with just one step and it’s as simple as pushing a lever to get it upright. The stroller also stands when it is collapsed so you don’t worry about it falling over.
There’s an extra large storage basket at the bottom for Juni’s diaper bag, scrapbooking pouch, Jack’s stuff - you name it!
Almost everything’s adjustable! The handlebar can be raised or lowered (so important when your husband is 6’4”); the toddler seat can be reclined in multiple positions; and the canopy and leg rest can be raised as baby grows!
I also love how UPPAbaby thought of all the little details in their stroller design - from the extendable canopy with UPF 50+ protection, the vented peekaboo windows, the color indicator that lets you know when the wheels are locked to the sleek design and stylish color options that any modern mama would love! We are so happy we went with BRYCE even though it’s a lighter color, we had found that it wipes clean very easily.

When the time is right again for us to enjoy air travel, I’m going to be so excited to take the CRUZ V2 along with us for adventures further from home!
If you’re looking for a new high-quality stroller or car seat, I highly recommend checking out UPPAbaby!
Big thanks to our friends at UPPAbaby for the gift for Juniper. We are so grateful. All opinions are my own.

Healthy, Kid-Friendly Subscription Meal Service from Nurture Life
This post is in collaboration with Nurture Life; all ideas and opinions are my own. As always, my creative partners and I appreciate the support.
As a working mom with a new baby and a new home, there’s a lot to juggle - between virtual school for Jack, caring for Juniper, online furniture shopping, meetings with contractors, work projects and the list goes on!
Don’t get me wrong, I’m so thankful for the life I have, and I know many of you can relate with the multi-tasking and shifting these days.

I’m always on the lookout for time-saving solutions so I can get the most out of each day and spend more time crafting a life I love with the people I love. Mealtimes are one such area! Thankfully, JC loves to cook for our family on weekends and some weeknight dinners, but there are times when it’s been especially hectic and we are too late on ordering take out.
On such days, it’s such a relief to be able to pull out a healthy, delicious meal that’s ready to go in minutes, like the kid-friendly meals from Nurture Life!
Nurture Life is a subscription meal service for kids that’s delivered right to your door! There are so many reasons I’m impressed with Nurture Life:
The meals are prepared with real, clean ingredients like organic veggies and antibiotic-free proteins.
Nurture Life’s team of registered dietitians and chefs develop the meals so you know your child is getting the right amount of nutrients in a serving size for their age.
The meals are freshly made, never frozen and are delivered to your door in refrigerated packaging (100% recyclable and the liner is made from recycled bottles!).
Nurture Life was co-founded by a mom who wanted to provide healthy mealtime solutions for other busy parents. I love supporting women-owned businesses!
Their flexible subscription service makes it easy to choose the type and number of meals from their extensive menu delivered to you each week and you can skip, pause or cancel at any time.
The best thing about Nurture Life is that their meals aren’t just for kids, but there are options for babies, toddlers and teens and adults too! Our whole family can enjoy delicious, nutritious meal times together. And Nurture Life meals grow with your child; I’m looking forward to letting Juniper try a baby meal once she’s ready!
One of our favorite Nurture Life meals has to be the Mac & Cheese with Butternut Squash and Turkey Meatloaf with Mashed Potatoes & Green Beans.
I also love the additional options they have for portable meals which are meant to be eaten cold and shareable meals that can be eaten family style. The Mushroom Truffle Ravioli is insanely delicious - my mom was convinced we had gotten it from a restaurant.
If you’re a busy parent looking for convenient kid-friendly meals without sacrificing nutrition or taste, check out Nurture Life. Right now you can save 50% off your first two orders of Nurture Life meals with code AMYTANGERINE.
If you do try out Nurture Life, be sure to let me know!

5 Tips for Memory Planning
One of my greatest creative achievements in 2020 was keeping up with my memory planner. I completed a spread for every week last year in my 2020 planner collab with Archer and Olive. It wasn’t a perfect process; there were many days I didn’t work in my planner at all, and I certainly had to play “catch up” more than once.
You can watch my 2020 Planner Flip Through video here on my YouTube channel.
2020 was such a difficult year, but looking back through my planner, I’m reminded of so many joys, big and small, that I’m grateful for. I will be continuing this creative project this year in my new 2021 planner with Archer + Olive. Make sure you’re following me on IG where I share my weekly spreads and subscribe to my YouTube channel for planner flip throughs, process videos and tips and tricks!
If you want to start memory planning (it’s never too late!), check out these 5 tips:
1. Use your supplies.Don’t be afraid to fill up blank spaces. I used to feel discouraged when I’d look back and see so many blank spots in my planners and journals. To me, they represented failures to log my days “properly.” Now, I get excited when I see them because I realized they’re actually opportunities to add stickers, embellishments, and put those colorful pens or markers to use with your own personal touch.

Try multi media for a “dimensional” look of layering. Don’t hold back. You can add watercolors, then stamps, then stickers, die cuts and washi tape to create the perfect multi-layered masterpiece.
3. Do what works for you.If you see someone else trying a unique color combo or fresh technique, use it as inspiration! Experiment to find out what you like and don’t. It can be fun to put your own twist on things.

If you feel you are short on time, look for pockets and try to carve out just 10-15 minutes a day. Make some marks, record some gratitudes, stick down some stickers. Remember, the whole is greater than the sum of its parts, so all those little things will add up.
5. Have fun and don’t overthink it.When we’re kids, we remember to have fun on a regular basis. As we grow older and take on more and more responsibility, we forget how important it is to do something just for the sake of it. Savor, play and enjoy the process. Remember, it’s about progress, not perfection.
Frequently Asked QuestionsWhat type of planner do you use?
I’m using my 2021 Archer and Olive Planner Collaboration in the green, dated version. Shop here and save 10% off any purchase with code AMYTANGERINE.

I use a combination of Tombow USA pens (AMYTANGERINE15 for 15% off your order!) and the Acrylograph Pens in 0.7 mm (the tropical set is my fav) from Archer and Olive.

My New Favorite Diapers from NEST!
I’m always looking for ways to make more eco-friendly lifestyle choices for my family, so when Nest offered to gift me some of their plant-based diapers for Juniper to try, I was super excited!

Nest diapers are not only better for our environment, but they’re also better for baby! Their plant-based disposable diapers are made from hand-selected renewable materials that are free from chlorine, fragrance, ammonia, parabens and other harsh chemicals. I love that Nest diapers are designed to be absorbent and leak-free while also being super soft, breathable, hypoallergenic and safe for Juniper’s sensitive skin. I don’t know if you can tell from the photo, but she loves her Nest diapers too!

There is Always Light
I was so moved by the beautiful words of our nation’s Youth Poet Laureate, Amanda Gorman, during her reading of the inauguration poem, “The Hill We Climb.” I loved the last few lines of the poem and knew I had to hand letter them! May her words inspire us to always be the light!
