It is 2022.

The LGBTQ+ community is not a joke.

It is filled with human beings who like a different kind of masala from other human beings.

Simultaneous...

An example of simultaneously missing an opportunity as well as gaining it…
You hear your doorbell ring in a dream, you wake up from bed to go answer it, only to wake up in real life to the actual doorbell ringing, which you have now gone to answer.

Greater Cause...

Whether we like it or not, we all serve a greater cause. What that cause is, exactly, even the wisest fail to agree on.

Heartbreak...

Heartbreak is a scary and painful chapter in most people's lives. It's alarming to see someone be hurt so many times that they wake up one day an entirely different person. Amputating the desire for love just so they can save the rest of themselves from emotional decay. Still feeling that ‘phantom sensation' of a limb that will never grow back but ever reminding them of what once was, what they once had, what they once cherished.

Pretense...

A cousin asked his older brother, "How on earth do people even get through the day?"

His older cousin replied, "In one of two ways. You can either be an intelligent person pretending to be stupid. Or do what I do and be a stupid person pretending to be intelligent."

Horticulture Diaries – The Case Of The Survivor Orchid.

I had a weird dream last night. My orchid was telling me it couldn't breathe and started putting on a 'suffocation scene' stage performance. I was in the audience watching it, and when I got up to go, I woke up. I sat straight up in bed only to catch sight of the orchid on my dining table. Freshening up asap, I did some reading. Apparently, orchids rely on the water in the atmosphere, which they soak up readily through their roots, unlike normal plants which get the same directly from the soil. As soon as I read that line, I rushed to my orchid's aid and began to perform 'emergency pot surgery'. I moved its roots out of the layer of nutrient-rich soil I had put round it, gathered the rough pebbles, created a new rocky bed, and re-positioned the orchid with apt stony supports. Now I've to wait a few weeks for it to acclimate and rearrange itself, make itself cozy and all that. "Don't die on me, m*****f*****" was my muttered blessing as I realized I probably saved a life for the first time before having any coffee. Usually without coffee first, lives are taken. Anyway, I learned something philosophical today… Sometimes, you can give people the best nutrition-rich environments and they will still choose to suffer a challenge, even dying despite the life-giving potential that's all around them.

Death...

Any poetry to be found in Death only exists beyond it.

Mistakes...

The most dangerous things in the word are Mistakes. One of them can bring down entire buildings, plans, empires, and governments. One of them is often enough to destroy relationships, dreams, romances, loves, families, friendships, and hopes. They are so deadly that one mistake almost always inspires another, adding fuel to an already raging fire. And if you thought that was the end of it, think again. Mistakes can be so dangerous that often we fail to even notice one of them before it is too late.

Define...

The good that people do defines their life. The evil they do defines their legacy.

Cusp...

As humans, I believe we've all reached a point where we need to put aside primitive 'animal' thinking driven by baser instincts. As a species, we are on the cusp of another major Evolution, into either our higher selves or our lower ones.
