History Repeats...

Funny how back in the early days of cinema, they mostly used to shoot inside closed studio sets. Now, the future of cinema is again taking most sets and scenes inside closed studios, only this time they're armed with specialized L.E.D. technology. Goes to show that even show-business is not immune to the adage, 'History repeats itself.'

The Choice...

We must be careful when choosing which side of ourselves to kill. When we kill one side of who we are, we inevitably feed another with it. When we bury one side of who we are, we irrevocably grow another. Where one thing dies, another is born.

Recipe...

Even the best recipes will fail with the wrong ingredients.

Leak-Proof...

The fact that every cast and crew member who worked on "Avatar 2" kept everything secret – not a spoiler in sight – for 10+ years is proof that entertainment can be leak-proof, unless the marketing team says otherwise.

Conundrum...

A woman came out of her house all flustered and surprised, a look of utter confusion on her face. Seeing her this way, a passerby stopped to ask her what was wrong. She made a sound of contempt and said, "I don't know what frightens me most. That he is never sane or that he is never wrong." She kicked a bucket of water down the street before heading back inside.

The Flame...

A man had a fight with his wife and left his hut to get some air. He met his hunting buddy by the bonfire and started to rant about the many problems his wife gave him.

His friend took a deep breath and said, "Call yourself bold, fearless, a 'man', or whatever. But when it comes to fire, even a Tiger knows to run the other way."

"You're one to talk, you ain't married."

"Like I said, when a tiger sees a growing flame it is wise enough to run the other way." He paused. "Anyway, there are Tigers out here, did you know."

"NOW he tells me! I'm going home. Return to yours, fool."

"Why? I'm perfectly safe sitting where I am."

"How do you figure?"

"You're the one making all the noise." He paused again to let his meaning sink in.

Philosophies...

Normal Phrase: “You stare into the abyss & The abyss stares into you.”

Spiritual variant: “You dive into the deep & the deep dives into you.”

Enlightened Version: “You seek the truth & the truth seeks you.”

The Winning Horse...

"You want a winning horse to run your race, you've got to give it a race worth running."

"But how do you know the horse is capable of winning? How can you tell if the race is worth it?"

"To the horse, the race should feel worth it long before it can go on to win it."

Two Sisters...

Two sisters sat in a garden. One looked sad, morose, irritable, and disappointed. The other appeared lively, carefree, and smiling at something she was imagining.

Cold Sister: "How do you deal with the cruel thorn of fate? How do you cope with the harsh whip of karma?"

Chill Sister: "Just accept it. It hurts less."

"Cutieful"...

Dear Oxford Dictionary, kindly consider adding the word: "Cutieful".

Cutieful /cyoo-tee-full/ noun. 1. Referring to something or someone irresistibly cute. 2. Something or someone halfway between beautiful and adorable. 3. The state of being memorably cute.

Examples: kitten paws, puppy tails, baby bellies, girls giggling, and venomous snakes. What? You don't find snakes cutieful? Well! One human's venom is another human's poison.
