Irony For Humans...

It's supremely ironic how Humans started farming and agriculture as a means to survive in a world where food was scarce or hard to come by. But farming and agriculture made it possible for an increase in human population to the point of over-population. And now farming and agriculture are needed to sustain an excess of Humans lest millions die. yet, despite this, millions are still dying of starvation every day. If there was ever a cosmic joke, our species would be the punchline.

Marriage Squabbles...

Husband: “Darling, you keep changing your mind so often I'm sure you can't come to any kind of decision even if your life depended on it.”

Wife: “But, dear, it is precisely because I keep changing my mind that it proves I can come to any kind of decision, especially new and better alternatives.”

Husband: “By 'alternatives', darling, you mean any idea that isn't my idea works for you.”

Wife: “If your decisions can even strictly be called ideas, dear. They are crimes against imagination. I say this only because I love you.”

Husband: [gasping] “Since we married, darling, my mother has never once found my ideas anything less than brilliant. And she loves me too!”

Wife: [sighing] “You forget one thing, dear. She loves you, but she hates me.”

Flowers...

There’s a life-lesson in watching plants grow. Leaves get to work first. Only then do flowers bloom. You see this ‘wisdom’ reflected in all Life. Among humans, it reflects powerfully in parents. For the quality of work they do and the love they give results in how well their children grow, how long they flourish, and how influential they become to the growth of others. Where leaves fail, flowers wilt. However, every now and again we find flowers that defeat the weaknesses of their lineage and grow strong and beautiful, sometimes in places people might never think possible. Nature finds a way... Sometimes...

Kumari Nadu...

Surrounded on three sides by oceans, the Indian subcontinent most certainly enjoyed a thriving fishing industry in ancient times. India also most assuredly must have had ‘fisher stories’ that involved all sorts of sea monsters, and of course Mer-People. I wonder how many documents, scrolls, notes, studies, oral histories, tribal tales, even entire books on this may have existed (or still do) in this nation’s multi-millennia cultural timeline. Add to this the growing realization that there could’ve been an entire landmass called "Kumari Kandam" – aka "Kumari Nadu", a mythical lost continent that allegedly hosted a Tamil super-civilization – that stretched from South India all the way to Madagascar on one side and Australia on the other... and you have yourself a Dravidian and pan-Indian ‘national pride’ origin story that demands excavation and exploration.

Geo-Engineering...

Unpredicted rainfall is proof of Climate Change, particularly in relation to how hot it is getting.
More heat => more evaporation => increased atmospheric precipitation => rain.
So while the sudden rain spill in Chennai City (TamilNadu, South India) may feel like a brief respite from the searing heat, it is in truth a sign of our home collapsing around us.
Either that, or they tested a weather control device. Scientists have already begun to experiment on that, trying to use artificial weather systems and patterns to cool down the Earth, aka “Geo-Engineering".

Human Existence...

Much of human existence is about people quietly saving people without the news media covering the story. Another large part of human existence entails people quietly misusing people, taking advantage of them, killing, trafficking, corrupting, or harming them in all sorts of ways with some news media intentionally not covering the story.

Mother's Day...

The one thing I learned as I scrolled through my socials on Mother's Day is that even the worst people in the world have mothers. Really makes you wonder about the humanity we have forgotten exists in people we think are inhuman.
