Tuesday, 4th June -- So, startling happening -- I'm 99% sure Peyton peed on the bed (oh joy). As opposed to Eli, not as opposed to me. The internet says it's most likely a bladder infection, easily treated with antibiotics, so Vet today, hopefully. Otherwise he seems to feel fine. Any experience in this?
The poor Warriors -- it was reported Thompson will play tomorrow night. Smart? I don't know, it's something to do with a quad tear, how severe, I have no clue. Still no word on Durant. The talking heads said it looked like a MASH unit in the Warrior's locker room.
Keep coming up with titles, please -- you might hit on the perfect one. Is ANIMUS too far out there? Well, yes, I can hear you saying, it's nearly on Mars. Okay,l Okay.
Today is hard cardio for me and the usual exercises for gut, arms, back, balance -- all those good basics. How about you? Don't you dare have the nerve to tell me you're relaxing today -- I mean, relaxing is GREAT, after you've worked out. This is the rule. Do not, I beg of you, break this precious rule.

Friday, 31st May -- Last day before oblivion for this lovely month. It was a good month weather-wise here in Sausalito. What will June bring?
Today I get a massage -- oh, be still my bod, what pleasure, what joyful anticipaton.

Today, polish off the week in fine style, guys, and that means you actually push yourself. Yes, you can do it, whatever cardio or exercise, fast, slow, fast, slow --
The Warriors lost last night, game 2 on Sunday -- Cousins played a little bit, but he's very very rusty and didn't move very well. No one shot wonderfully and believe me, the marvelous Raptors shot great --

Thursday, 30th May -- Tonight's Game 1 -- I was wrong, and thanks for the correction -- Durant did fly to Toronto -- so we'll see. But he's got to be rusty and so is Cousins. What will happen?
Glad to hear you like the fingers against head, touching elbows, then pulling back -- it does make you feel good. Do not forget bat wings -- I really recommend a stretchy blue band or say a 5-6 pound free weight.
Company today, and the trick will be to have them gone by the time the game starts at 6:00 p.m. I don't mean to sound ungracious, but come on, guys -- why this particular Thursday? do you know I've dreamed about the Warriors three nights running? Not playing a game, but like last night, Durant was growing taller, I figure that was so he could put Kawhi under his arm pit. Now that's a visual.
Cardio -- doesn't matter what you do, JUST DO IT, no whining, no complaining, DO IT --

Wednesday, 29th May -- All of you in the Dayton area, stay safe.
It appears Durant won't even be traveling to Toronto for games one and two -- this does not bode well. I don't know about Cousins yet -- we'll see. I really do like the Raptors, and would holler for them if they weren't playing the Warriors.
Don't forget now -- STAIRS -- you step on the first step going up or going down and you automatically think SHOULDER BLADES BACK. Muscle memory -- do you know, I do it automatically -- and that's lovely not to have to try to access the brain when it's missing so much Ram.
Today, stand straight, places your fingers on each side of your head, then bend your elbows in to touch, then back out as far as you can go. This is great for your posture and for strengthening your shoulder blades. Try for 10 and go slow.
Bring on this gorgeous day. If you're weeding, if you're walking your critter, if you're meeting your lover, when you're ready for a break, read a book (It doesn't have to be one of mine, but well -- what would be extra nice) and when you're driving, always have a book on tape playing. I swear you'll never have road rage, never --

I asked many of you for photos and videos -- it would be great to see, so thanking you in advance if you post.
I dreamed last night about the first game between the Warriors and the Raptors (Thurs. at 6:00 on ABC) and the huge bummer was I woke up before the end so I don't know who won. All right, I'll shut up, but I tell you, that dream was vivid, well, to be honest, it didn't make all that much sense, I mean Durant skipping down the court carrying the basketball isn't all that likely.
Work today, as I'm sure is the case with most of you. But take some time, as I'm sure you usually do, and get your cardio in and don't forget to stretch. You all know about "muscle memory". The trick to keeping your shoulder blades back is to develop muscle memory, that is, do the exact same thing many times over until it's automatic. CLIMB THE STAIRS -- and until you have the mm, then think SBB -- okay?

Friday, 24th May -- High Cholesterol Factory yesterday -- everyone kept saying "don't order the same thing, order something new, new, new." -- Now, haven't been to the HCF for a very long time, so what I usually order was NEW. Yep, had the hamburger sliders, well done, lots of dill pickles and French fries really brown and stand up like soldiers saluting. It was wonderful.
Basketball update whether you want it or not: The Raptors beat the Bucks at home last night -- they were very physical, really, a brutal game. Now it's back to Toronto for game 6 -- Will the Warriors be flying to Toronto in the near future to play the Raptors? One of you wrote he wanted it to go to 7 games, make the teams nice and exhausted. I hear you. I like it.
Friday again, so you need to put yourself out there in terms of muscle madness -- Get those muscles nice and hot and working hard. When you do your cardio, do slow, real fast, slow -- keep it up, makes your heart race, then back to normal -- GREAT --

Thursday, 23rd May -- Ate at the new "in" restaurant in San Francisco last night with friends. Food was amazing, place was large and open, filled to the brim with obvious "in" diners, plus -- oh joy -- there was loud music. Hard to converse. As I said though, unusual excellent food. Supposed to be Italian, but I don't think so -- The chef's vision --

Tonight we have game 5 between the Bucks and the Raptors, this one in Milwaukee -- we'll see what happens.
I want to finish the second proofing of LABYRINTH today, get it sent back. About 50 pages so far of corrections. Amazing. I wager if I read it a third time, I'd find more. Proofreading is a talent -- does everyone agree? I really try to pay attention, but it isn't one of my talents.
Today, it's hard on the CARDIO -- get off those extra few pounds before you head to your swimming suit drawer.
One of you mentioned always getting a second opinion -- PLEASE ALWAYS DO -- remember, Surgeons like to cut, that's what they do. They see an opportunity to cut and believe me, they'll take it. SECOND OPINION --

Wednesday, 22nd May -- Who saw the Raptors beat the crap out of the Bucks last night? Hard to believe, was unexpected -- now what will happen when they go back to Milwaulkee?
Gorgeous day here in paradise, will be nearly 70, sunny, all the plants singing, blooms waving --
All the photos showing SNOW -- goodness, people, I don't know how you do it --
Today, going through LABYRINTH gallies the second time. You know how I say if there's a typo/error in the manuscript, it will breed? Well, it's true. First time, I sent back 70 pages with corrections) This time I'm up to about 25 pages and only halfway through the manuscript. It's incredible -- and you know what? When the book is actually published, I'll find more errors -- and so will you guys, so if you see one, let me know so it can get corrected on the next printing.
Today, it's lots and lots of cardio -- lose 10 pounds. How? Cardio every single day, do not use a dinner plate ever ever again except for Thanksgiving and company, only a small 8" plate, one serving ONLY and walking, lots of walking.

Tuesday, 21st May -- Gotta say it, gotta say it, can't keep it in, it's bursting out -- I CAN'T STOP IT! The Warriors SWEPT Portland 4-0. I have to say though, the game last night could have gone either way -- amazing, scary, and the Warriors were missing not only Durant and Iguodola but also Cousins. Congratulations to the Warriors. All right, it's out of my system, no more -- They now have about 10 days rest to get everyone well again before the start of the championship series -- Phew.
I have a suggestion: whenever you're climbing stairs, ALWAYS think Shoulder Blades Back -- it works, I do it automatically -- you've got to build muscle memory.
Work today -- and isn't it always so. I'm stuck and have to rethinking what's happening in St. Lumis.

Wednesday, 15th May -- Mid week, mid month -- did everyone get their mini-May newsletter? Why, you ask, since it's right here on Facebook? Well, I wanted you to have enough, I mean, what if you lost this Facebook page?
One of you said you'd had a True ID since 2011 -- I had no idea this splendid bureaucratic idea was around back then. Well, since the law doesn't go into effect until Oct. 2020, that sure gives enough lead time. Go ahead and get it done -- Can you imagine what it'll be like at the DMV come September 2020? Talk about insanity -- so do not wait.
A different one of you mentioned giving a bit of Labyrinth once a week -- hmmm -- maybe reading it, maybe in print -- hmmm. Good idea, thank you.
Today it's time to bust chops with workout and cardio -- haven't really busted anything for quite a while. I mean, sweat? Maybe -- I don't want to, but occasionally it's good to really push yourself -- see how your bod reacts. As for your beautiful bods, start working hard on bat wings, people -- a blue stretchy band (really cheap) -- and simply Google exercises. My blue stretchy band just snapped so I'll trot to Amazon, order another one. Go for it, guys, the minions, I understand, have a random check today. Where? Halloween's coming up fast, the day the zombies burst out of the ground and terrify the crap out of us, not to mention eat our candy and eat our brains.
Update on BOMBSHELL, the 17th FBI Thriller: I'm nearly finished with the edit. The cover is very cool, explodes with eye-popping color. BOMBSHELL is set in Maestro, Va., (the setting of the 10th FBI thriller, POINT BLANK) and in Washington.
JEWEL OF THE LION (first thriller in A Brit in the FBI series partnered with J.T. Ellison). JEWEL moves fast and you don't know what's going to happen on the next page, and you're biting your toenails or a zombie's toenails. J.T. is an excellent plotter and that means when we brainstorm no plot gets left behind.
Alas, no kids want candy enough to crawl up our oxygen-deprived steep driveway, and the sad thing is, I still have a big bowl of candy, every year, but no one comes, not even the zombies with brain bags.
