FRIDAY, 29th March -- Nevaeh is pronounced NE VAY A. Did you take the quiz when you finished TLS? I'm getting very nice feedback from your guys -- Thank you --
Yes, it's Friday again and that means basketball this evening, both the Warriors and Duke -- I want to see Zion Williamson, the 18-year-old dream kid play --
Any movies out you'd recommend? If no, that figures. Who thinks Hollywood will continue to sink into the abyss? Do you think they'll ever disappear altogether and Independent film companies across the country will take over? Give it some thought --
Janice mentioned Trump gave an executive order to localities to protect their electrical grids from an EMP -- isn't the timing amazing? All right, so J.T. and I plugged into the big harmonic universe and divined this would happen. Hmm, sounds good.
Today, dear ones, whatever parts of your body aren't working right, do your physical therapy. As for your good working parts -- reward them for not betraying you and make them nice and warm and that means working them hard -- Cardio -- you know the deal and don't forget bis and tris, say isometrics or free weights and do the exercise in front of your mirror -- you should be able to see the muscles --

March 28, 2019

Thursday 28th March -- Short, no digressions today because my computer monitor is broken and I'm on borrowed time and a borrowed computer.
THE LAST SECOND -- pre-orders were great -- THANK YOU -- and now we play the waiting game to see what it lands on the bestseller lists.
Do take the Nevaeh quiz after you've finished reading TLS -- it's lots of fun.
Everyone, outside today, no excuses (well, okay, if it's raining animals or mothers-in-law), you can stay inside and climb stairs -- up and down, up and down, shoulder blades back Outside, be sure to smile and say hello to everyone you meet on your walk/run/jog/. Take your critter -- always an excellent conversation started.

March 27, 2019

Wednesday, 27th March -- so far getting really good feedback on THE LAST SECOND -- did everyone get their newsletter? I think the mini-newsletters are so much cooler sent out than appearing on Facebook and Instagram. So far, very early, mind you, TLS is #1 on Amazon thrillers and two other categories, I forget. So, if you have a stray co-worker, a stray neighbor, go guilt them into getting the book. Or wear a sandwich board (front and back, cover of TLS). That would be charming, don't you think? Talk about making new friends --
Okay, it's raining here, which is great, want to keep the Irish green going on the Marin hills. How about where you are? No more snow, I hope, no more freezing your digits off?
Today, gym or no gym, it's workout -- and that means a half hour cardio -- walking? That's fine, make it long and steady and take a critter with you for company. Don't forget a really nice stretch -- that's best done first thing when you get out of bed -- take 2 minutes, okay? Again, SBB --

EVERYONE READING THE LAST SECOND?

March 26, 2019

Tuesday, 26th March -- Wow -- today is the day THE LAST SECOND hits the shelves and your tablets. If there's anyone you know who hasn't ordered it yet, go bite them or maybe make them wear a sign, or bribe them with an ice cream cone (not sex, that's going too far) -- I do hope all of you enjoy this thrill ride -- it's non-stop --

There will be a 6th mini-newsletter -- today, maybe, depending on the weather.

Is keeping SHOULDER BLADES BACK a habit now? You automatically do it, especially when walking up and down stairs, and really especially when just plain walking? If not, try to weave it into the fabric of your brain, just like your daily cardio, right? RIGHT? Today, work on those bis and tris -- summer's coming up and you don't want to wave any flags --
Everyone who reads TLS today -- don't forget to keep me posted -- well, particularly if it's good.

March 22, 2019

Friday, 22nd March -- Yep, THE LAST SECOND is out next Tuesday -- it's always the strangest thing -- I know a book is coming out in say 8 months and that's the future, always the future, then closer and closer and now, next Tuesday -- nearly here. Very weird feeling.
The 6th mini-newsletter will be out next Tuesday -- Think the Golden Gate Bridge.

THE RED BOX is taking a very early, very cool new direction, or an additional plot out of left field I guess you could say. It's always fun as this tends to happen every book.

Rhonda, I quoted you yesterday about Quetiapine as helping you sleep with no side effects -- hearing today it's a psychotic drug. Did you know this?

Today, the last day of the work week, you are not going to flake out on me or yourself. You are going to do something ACTIVE. You are going to the gym or you're going to go walking, at least 2 miles, and take a critter with you. MOVE, people, work those muscles or you know what? They'll simply stop moving and then you are royally screwed. Okay, end of rant -- but I'm still thinking it --

March 21, 2019

March 21st, Thursday -- This is mildly embarrassing -- I just posted my comments on my family page. Oh well, only thing is, I can't remember all I wrote, so I don't think there'll be all that much for you to wade through today. Oh yes, QUETIAPINE -- Rhonda says it's great sleep aid with no nasty side effects, like sleep walking. Any other suggestions, pass them along.
Today you want to actively think: SHOULDER BLADES BACK -- chin in, walk tall and proud and 30 minutes cardio, enough to dew your forehead.

March 20, 2019

Wednesday, 20th March -- Sleep problems: Lots of good suggestions. Let me add Melatonin, 5 mgs. three of them, read for thirty minutes, then lights out. If you go right to sleep then wake up in the middle of the night, do the Melatonin, follow the same regimen. And let me know if this helps. Valaria root sounds sexy, but I don't know what it is. Ambien -- sleepwalking -- I'd heard of that. Mainly, I've heard bad things about Ambien, so you might try the suggestion of the peanut butter once we know if you spoon it down your gullet, smear it on celery or pile it on a lovely piece of buttered toast. If you have chronic sleep problems, it's time to address them. Without sleep, you know what happens. Life really dulls down and becomes uninteresting because your brain dulls down too.
Tonight is a SUPER FULL MOON plus it's the Spring Equinox. It's raining here right now, but it should be nice and clear later. Can't wait to see that moon and bask.
No matter physical limitations, you can still move what doesn't hurt or needs rest -- so don't just give up and shut down and sink yourself into the couch and be depressed. Move what you can, and do it to the limit.

March 19, 2019

Tuesday, 19th March -- One week from today THE LAST SECOND or TLS will be out on the shelves or in ebook heaven, ready to wing down to your tablet. I like what Julianna said -- "D" Day is for Delectable.
Work today -- it's always work, isn't it? Hopefully work for you is more fun than not.
For those of you not sleeping well, and it seems, from your comments, it's nearly an epidemic, what's going on? I do hope it's only an occasional thing otherwise, you are not having fun. Who has tried stuff like Ambien? Good? Sucky? What do you think about sleep aids in general?
Today, it's WALKING, lots and lots of movement, arms and legs and twisting and stretching --

March 15, 2019

Friday, 15th March -- Most of you got a kick out of the bathroom/library -- I do hope you at least smiled. Better today, going to the gym, so that's something -- one of my friends is now down and out -- This particular Yuck is a killer. Is it in your neighborhood, laying waste to your neighbors?
Working for the first time this week on the new FBI thriller, THE RED BOX -- it'll be interesting to see what comes out of my fingers -- probably won't be all that memorable, but it'll at least be something to work on. I'm sure you've heard me say before "I never met a blank page I could edit." And that's the truth.
It's gorgeous here today, up near 65 degrees, sunny, with that lovely nip in the sweet air.
Thank you for all the donations for my cardio -- I did 25 minutes yesterday and managed to survive it. Today, the full 40 minutes plus, oh, all right, a lighter workout, but the muscles have to start firing again of they might shut down and then where would I be? So, it's moving and flexing and working and all is good. Go forth -- SBB --

March 7, 2019

Thursday, 7th March -- HOME AGAIN, YEA! Late last night -- The airport in Orlando is great -- very efficient, very well laid out -- all is good. If you're getting my mini-newsletters, you'll get one tomorrow (this is #4 out of 6) -- hope you at least chuckle a little bit. I'll also be posting it on Instagram and here --
Mexican meals 3 DAYS IN A ROW -- oh my, it was nirvana.
There was no working wifi anywhere -- oh joy -- not even in the Mexican restaurants, imagine that.
Did all or you work out without my nagging you? Did you send me a minute or two of your cardio? Do you feel virtuous, close to holy? I guess when it comes right down to it, other than nightly exercises, I was something of a slug -- totally unacceptable, I know, and I do hesitate to chew on you guys if you didn't work out hard during my absence, NAH, I'll ask the minions and get the real skinny -- today it's cardio and bis and tris -- I'm HOME --
Hey, what's your name spelled backwards? Mine's enirehtac -- You'll find out the reason I'm asking in The Last Second.
