Monday, (the day after WEEK #1 Sunday) the 8th of September. TWO GAMES TONIGHT!!! Isn't that something? I wonder if this is a "treat" or it will be two games every Monday night this season? Who knows the answer to this one?
Vikqueens? Now, this is really rude -- but evidently that's the nickname of the Vikings up in Minnesota. Well, they did beat the Rams yesterday, so maybe they're back to Vikprinces?
As you would expect, I was very happy to see the 49ers beat the Cowboys -- Who's got an opinion on whether or not Harbaugh will be in his last year here in San Francisco?
J.T. is coming this afternoon -- so, I'll be missing the games tonight since we'll be chowing down at a Mexican restaurant and getting back in the groove --

ALREADY FRIDAY, September 5th -- Tomorrow a.m. I'll post my four picks for Week #1 Football. So many of you watched the game last night. I gotta say, the Seahawks look like they're unstoppable (except for that one drive GB went right down and scored) Remember that defensive penalty that gave the Seahawks a first down when they got the ball back? (Otherwise the Seahawks would have had to punt, give GB back the ball) If they'd punted, I do wonder if GB would have scored again, maybe pulled it out? Woulda, coulda, shoulda -- they didn't, so it's moot.
Today is work, as it is for practically everyone -- and then after the gym, come home, put out a frozen croissant to sit for 18 hours, then RELAX -- for me, Fridays are amazing --

FOOTBALL SEASON IS OFFICIALLY HERE: Tonight, Packers vs/ Seahawks -- I gotta tell you, I'll be rooting for the Packers since Seattle is in our Division. Is everyone clear on the rules for out football competition? I mean, we've done it now, what, four years?
Have you entered the Week #1 Giveaway? If not, do it -- NOW -- remember tell a good lost key story -- that is, you losing your key --
Who's got a crappy boss? Tell me and we'll try to solve the problems (apart from shooting said boss, of course) There are ways and methods and approaches -- so if your work life isn't pleasant because of your superior, then let's do something about it --

Incredible Wednesday, September 3rd -- Lots and lots of you have entered the "Read" key chain giveaway on my Facebook page for a chance to win one of the four. (Goodreaders -- go to my FB page and add your lost keys story!)I wanted to enter since I've got a really good lost key story, and was smacked. (metaphorically) If you haven't entered yet, do, lots of fun -- And yes, I'm told every entry will be read, and then (of course it's all subjective) two people from the publisher will pick their top 4 favorites.
Work today, but I now know exactly what I'm going to do on this particular rewrite -- keep your digits crossed.
FOOTBALL CONTEST: 2015 -- I'm going to post my four team picks on Saturday the 6th (Since Packers/Seahawks aren't among the four, I'm going to wait). So do check in on Saturday and find out my team picks for WEEK #1. (Remember, you replace one of the four with your own team if I haven't selected it.) I recommend you keep track with a small notebook (I do and it makes it so easy) and you can update it each week, let me and everyone else know how you're doing -- Isn't that something about Wes Welker? I'm wondering if he was taking the amphedamines (sp, really bad sp) because of the concussion he suffered. I hope we'll find out the details -- what a blow for Denver, particular since Dekker (or is it Decker?) is out as well --
As for the 49ers, two, not ONE, but TWO players are out for six games because of hitting wife/girlfriend. Smith and MacDonald -- Wonder what's going to happen in the game on Sunday --

FINISHING DAY! Big YEA -- August 29th, Friday, and NEMESIS is coming down to the wire. I realized yesterday that I've got to tweak one of the denouements this morning, so keep your fingers crossed.
This is Friday and that means it's extra special and that means you do something very cool at your workplace. If you don't leave your house it means you've got to come up with something equally as cool to do for your family this evening -- what will you do? Tomorrow a.m. I hope to have lots and lots of posts telling me what you came up with, okay?

Tuesday the 26th of August -- Kiwan is over the moon -- thank you for all your congratulations to him -- I've told him to come to my Facebook page and bask -- Actually, his coach is even higher over the moon I imagine --
Today is more editing. I know, I know, it will never end (I'm beginning to think you're right -- on and on and on -- well, I'm up to about page 360, so am moving, only S-L-O-W-L-Y.
Nemesis is the title -- and it's Sherlock, not Savich, what do you think about that? She's a mensch in this one (And she doesn't get shot in the head either.)

Halloween's coming up fast, the day the zombies burst out of the ground and terrify the crap out of us, not to mention eat our candy and eat our brains.
Update on BOMBSHELL, the 17th FBI Thriller: I'm nearly finished with the edit. The cover is very cool, explodes with eye-popping color. BOMBSHELL is set in Maestro, Va., (the setting of the 10th FBI thriller, POINT BLANK) and in Washington.
JEWEL OF THE LION (first thriller in A Brit in the FBI series partnered with J.T. Ellison). JEWEL moves fast and you don't know what's going to happen on the next page, and you're biting your toenails or a zombie's toenails. J.T. is an excellent plotter and that means when we brainstorm no plot gets left behind.
Alas, no kids want candy enough to crawl up our oxygen-deprived steep driveway, and the sad thing is, I still have a big bowl of candy, every year, but no one comes, not even the zombies with brain bags.
Take care, Catherine
