Friday! Sorry, I had a synapse collapse -- THE GIANTS AGAINST THE REDSKINS last night, not the Eagles -- You've got to admit the Giants have finally gotten it together, and Eli looked great (the QB, not my cat Eli, although he looks extraordinary as well) The four interceptions by Cousins didn't help the the Redskins either -- poor guy, can you imagine how he slept last night?
I'll post four Sunday football picks manana --
If you haven't yet entered the Tiffany key sweepstakes, DO. Go to my Facebook page: (facebook.com/catherinecoulterbooks) and simply click on "like" beneath the picture. Don't forget, somebody's got to win, why not you? (Or your dog, if you happen to enter him)
Has anyone ever had popcorn for dinner? And a big sweet fresh peach? It was great, believe me -- and then football -- what more could you ask?
Okay, did you do the arm test with the kitchen island? Did you pull yourself up without problem? Be honest now, this is a good way to measure your strength and you want lots of strength in case you have to go toe-to-toe with the IRS, for example.

If you haven't clicked Like under the picture of the Tiffany key neckless, DO IT NOW -- don't say you don't ever win anything -- someone's got to win it (It's gorgeous, Tiffany's is delighted to present it to the winner). Goodreaders: please go to my FB page to do this!
What do you think of Elise the Whipstress in The Lost Key?
Now, guys, I heard a lot of you because I didn't talk about any body work yesterday -- No, not your car -- YOU -- so you hummed and hawed and didn't do anything for yourself -- so you have to make up for it today. LOTS OF CARDIO, get that heart pumping. Lots of triceps and biceps -- don't want bat wings. Here's an arm strength test: If you have a center island in your kitchen, push down with your hands and lift yourself up to sit on it. If you can't do that, you begin to work, hard, no harder, I mean really hard. Or anything that would hold your weight and is about island height -- let me know if you can do it -- or not --
Tonight the Giants play the Eagles -- oh wow -- I've got to go with the Giants --

I didn't post the winners from Week 3 earrings giveaway because I wanted to make it more than simply two names. Besides the two winners, I wanted you to see some of the other incredible answers I got to my question: "What advice would you give for a broken heart?"
Winners:
• Jennifer Evans: I would say that no matter how many times you get your heart broken it’s worth the falling in love.
• Leann Pierce: I always offer to help bury the body! Then have Margaritas!!!!
Other Top Answers:
• Teri Keller Carter: Call your friend (me), who is the coroner. She can say...yep, it was an accident, he fell right into that bullet!!!
• Lori Tibbetts Balzer: Fashion a voodoo doll, repeatedly stab pins into it, maybe take a hammer to it, get drunk. Throw out reminders. Then put it all behind you and move on.
• Sharon Berger: No regrets. Another experience to learn from. Be strong and then walk in the sunshine and begin anew.

Tuesday, September 23rd: GUESS WHAT? Shortly, in only a little more than an hour, there is going to be a GRAND ANNOUNCEMENT: That's right, it's the final THE LOST KEY giveaway so be sure and enter: Like I said yesterday, someone has to win so why not you? Also, the winners of the 2 sets of earrings will be splashed all over the screen as well. Yep, a very good day.
Thank you all for commiserating with me over my huge flop -- 0-4 in my football predictions -- of course I don't believe you, you're really tee-heeing behind your hands. No, don't lie, you know it's true.
I'll be telling you more about the Military Book Fair on November 8th as time draws nearer. It will be in gorgeous San Diego -- about time for a lovely vacation, don't you think? Or maybe just you and you can sit on the beach and watch the SEALS train, or, you can even do both.
No sitting around on your butt today. I know, I know, you work hard, you have to do housework, cook, play with kids, other halfs, critters -- but don't forget yourself -- if you aren't in good shape, how can you keep going? How can you have a romantic dinner with wine with your other half? How can you give your kids and critters all the attention they deserve? SO, don't whine, don't put it off, don't say you're too tired. Work your bod. Think of it this way: An hour of working out will make you feel so virtuous you'll be impossible to live with -- isn't that a cool thought?
Now, IMPORTANT announcement -- my final BIG GIVEAWAY is happening on my Facebook page -- you can win a beautiful key necklace from Tiffany's -- it's gorgeous! Go to my Facebook page and enter -- you need to post a comment for a chance to win. So, Goodreaders, please join the fun there, too.

Can you believe it's FRIDAY yet again? Yeah, of course you can, you've already got the weekend planned out. Something very cool, okay? Like take the family to a lake/ocean/river and swim probably the last time of the year -- don't forget a picnic? Maybe stop off for some fried chicken and apples and apple tarts, along those lines -- How long has it been since you did a picnic and tossed a baseball or football around after you've stuffed your face, and napped in the sun? Sounds pretty good from where I sit. But I'm getting ahead of myself -- if you didn't send me THE FINAL CUT, do, because I've got a couple more diamond key rings left to give out -- and they are so fun -- that's Catherine Coulter P.O. Box 17, Mill Valley, CA. 94942.
Is this dress-down day where you work? Or maybe a late Hump Day? Whatever, you give it your all, okay? Work your tail off, feel good about yourself when you leave to go home -- and pop up some popcorn and watch a movie --

Do you know, I already have the book cover art for NEMESIS, the FBI thriller for next summer? As in 2015? As in way in the future? It's incredible, but I can't show it to you yet --
Today it's big time on cardio -- stretch, crunch, ride, run, pump, jump -- you know the drill. At least 40 minutes, and sweat a bit. Don't forget to drink lots of water (no, not scotch) -- and do one act of random kindness --

September 11, big wonderful Thursday and J.T.'s last day here in beautiful Sausalito. We've gotten the story line down for Thriller #3 -- Nicholas Drummond -- and today we'll outline from Chapter 1 to Chapter 50, about half the book. She'll be back first week in December and we'll brainstorm/outline the rest. What fun and what work and what frustration and what an adrenalin high when you finally nail things down! So many ideas don't pan out and you simply move on and try something else. But I'll tell you, if it's your idea, it's hard to let go because you get invested -- Two writers brains working together, I'll tell you, that's nothing like it --
A lovely announcement. Monica McCarty Her new bestselling novel is out -- THE ARROW -- we're in Scotland of yesteryear with Gregor MacGregor (Got a little alliteration going, very cool) He's a famed archer and has the rep of being the most handsome man in Scotland -- Hmm, worth a look, don't you think?

Wednesday, 10th of September -- well, lots of my FB post yesterday was simply dropped off and isn't that the strangest thing? There isn't a Facebook bill, so what's going on? Someone didn't like Power Play?
The writers lunch yesterday was outstanding -- I'll post some photos (on Facebook) so you can a lot of happy faces -- great food, thanks to Lesley, lots of laughter, thanks to funny funny women, and excellent discussions of business and vacations to Scotland. All in all, a very fine day --
J.T. and I are brainstorming the next Nicholas Drummond thriller --
Friday, I'll be posting on my FB page a VERY cool link that will make you smile for two days, guaranteed --
Dear Goodreaders -- please check my FB page if you can: www.facebook.com/catherinecoulterbooks

9th of September and this is a MARVELOUS TUESDAY. Why, you ask?
First I get to announce the winners for the WEEK #1 GIVEWAY. They are:

Halloween's coming up fast, the day the zombies burst out of the ground and terrify the crap out of us, not to mention eat our candy and eat our brains.
Update on BOMBSHELL, the 17th FBI Thriller: I'm nearly finished with the edit. The cover is very cool, explodes with eye-popping color. BOMBSHELL is set in Maestro, Va., (the setting of the 10th FBI thriller, POINT BLANK) and in Washington.
JEWEL OF THE LION (first thriller in A Brit in the FBI series partnered with J.T. Ellison). JEWEL moves fast and you don't know what's going to happen on the next page, and you're biting your toenails or a zombie's toenails. J.T. is an excellent plotter and that means when we brainstorm no plot gets left behind.
Alas, no kids want candy enough to crawl up our oxygen-deprived steep driveway, and the sad thing is, I still have a big bowl of candy, every year, but no one comes, not even the zombies with brain bags.
Take care, Catherine
