Tuesday, 28th September -- What a glorious day -- high today maybe 70 degrees. I was whining yesterday about my characters being recalcitrant, causing me all sorts of problems, not moving when I wanted them to do something and they said a BIG no. Well, we (the Characters and I) worked on the problem yesterday and came together, all is well now in Kirra-Land (Yes, she's one of the major characters)
So, I'm not feeling any writing pain this morning, happy now to finish talking to you guys and dashing to my office and polishing the truce (what I wrote yesterday that made them all happy).
Today, a lovely big walk to make the legs sing loud and happy walking songs -- Will I hear your lovely voices when I'm walking? Remember, the minions are listening --

Monday, 27th September -- Well, week 3 and I was 3-2 (Bucs lost and the Patriots lost) Browns looked great, but on the other hand Nagy, coach of Bears, should be fired for the game plan with that poor rookie QB, Justin Fields. The Seahawks went down and so did Kansas City. Andy Reid was taken to the hospital -- he's looked out-of-shape and very heavy for way too long. Does anyone know what happened?
How did you guys do on Week 3?
Today is work -- always work, no way around it. There is the fact, of course, that I have to pay the electric bill and get Eli the cat food he likes, so no choice. Good thing it's fun except when I'm frustrated and have characters do stuff they hate and they turn on me and don't move. Big hint I've gone wrong and have to cooperate with them and come up with something else they like.
Walk for me today -- appointments in the afternoon I can't get out of or change -- sigh -- it's lovely here in Sausalito, in the sixties this afternoon with sun.
Go forth and make something really yummy for lunch or dinner -- something you don't make all that often.

Saturday, 25th September -- Okay, can you believe it? Third week of NFL:

Today is a very fine day, well, it's starting off well, lovely fog blanketing out everything one foot outside my windows. Today is surprise, CANTINA, but then something unusual -- shopping for some birthday presents and finally a fantastic walk on Octopus Trail in Mill Valley, get the heart pumping with some marvelous uphill climbs.
Who can beat this for a Saturday? Tell me what you're doing and I'll hire an independent agency to determine if you beat me out in l) creativity 2) focus 3) execution 4) amount of nachos consumed 5) clothes shopping for other than myself

Friday, 24th September -- Sorry, I got bored last night with the Thursday Night Football game, Texans and Panthers -- and didn't watch the 4th quarter. Who won? I did, however, wrap 12 birthday gifts (It's 2 birthday parties on the same day), but as you might remember, I really love giving gifts.
All decorated for Halloween -- the top floor looks WONDERFUL -- I'll take some photos, but it's never the same as actually being there, smiling, remembering when you got each piece (maybe remembering)
It's Friday, folks, and you know what that means -- you dream tonight of TACOS at The Cantina tomorrow. (or a plate of nachos) Is there anything else? Oh goodness, of course -- all of us are getting out there and walking, talking to everyone you meet, sharing a moment. Your goal is to leave them grinning or simply smiling.
Beautiful day here -- walked yesterday on the ocean cliff trail -- today? Don't know yet? Post photos, I do love to see where you live --

Everybody, up and at 'em -- gorgeous fall day, all of you with changing leaves be sure to post photos so we can admire and be jealous. Going to be very warm here today, high of 76, so says Alexa. And that means a beautiful ocean cliff walk -- yesterday it was all fogged in and really quite nasty, ah, but today -- here we go wearing only 7-shirts.
I've got Sherlock is deep caca and I'm wondering what's going to happen. How is she going to get out of this terrible situation. Oh yes, let me tease you, in the epilogue, there's a big surprise.
Everyone, get your whistling together, get ready to swing those arms as you walk briskly to your very favorite walking spot. If it's raining and you can't walk, then please, pretty please, send the rain out to me.

Wednesday, 22nd September -- Gorgeous Middle of the Week -- if you don't have a smile on your face RIGHT NOW, then get with it, a big smile, one that lets your own spirit know you're ready to take on this excellent day. There's always stuff to do -- do you make a To Do List? -- but then there's thoughts of lunch and dinner -- how about making something you really really would like to consume? And I don't necessarily mean tacos, although --
And then, of course, you'll give your bod the attention it deserves, work it, make it happy, make your legs do a little skip and hop and WALK.
And that leaves tonight -- hmm -- I'll let you decide on your own what would bring you pleasure -- a friend and a pizza? An Other Half and TACOS? (See I got tacos in there). Whatever, remember today is filled with joy and promise and you're right up there, standing tall, and smiling --

Tuesday, 21st September -- We all did splendidly on Week 2 NFL games.
Do you know what I forgot to do? I doubt you remember but when the First NFL game plays on Sunday, I start wrapping Christmas presents. I FORGOT this year and no one reminded me. This is rather humiliating. So I'll begin this upcoming Sunday. Plus there are two birthday parties here in October so lots of presents to wrap. I always get my wrapping paper online from Current -- it's the really thick paper that's so gorgeous -- Christmas -- all stuff is in storage and there's Halloween decorations as well. Phew -- Fall is such fun.
It'll be 80 degrees here today -- and everyone will whine how hot it is, me included. It was in 70s yesterday and that meant a beautiful walk down by the Bay -- I'll post a photo for you. No three or four layers, only light t-shirt. The water sparkled.
Today, work, of course, and then it's out and about. Where are you out and about to today? Something fun? Before or after your walk?

Monday, 20th September -- SHOCK AND AWE!!
Week 2 NFL -- 5 games
I WON ALL 5 GAMES!!! Second time in history, maybe pre-history as well, maybe future-history too

THEY ALL WON! If you stuck with my selections and my picks for the winners, YOU'RE GOLDEN (just like me!)
It's coming down to October, folks, and you know what that means -- Halloween and you need to start getting your stuff out of storage -- I'm hauling tomorrow or Thursday. Post photos and so will I.
It's going to be a high of 76 degrees here in Sausalito -- I think our Indian Summer is here -- usually this lasts maybe 2 weeks, and weather is in 80's and 90's -- Today it'll be 76 Degrees (but I ask you, how do the weather folk know it'll be 76 degrees and not 77 or 78? We'll see.
Outside, all of us -- time to stretch, do your bi's and tri's, turn your head from side to side, slowly, neck stretches are very important. Then use those legs. That's why you evolved legs -- to chase down guys and haul them to your cave, or on the other side, to chase down gals and haul them to your cave where you have marvelous etchings.

Today, football, nothing but football and isn't that a fine thing. I hope you've made your 5 picks (remember, three of them have to be mine). Here we go on week 2.
If you're not watching football today, it means you're dying to get outside and sing all the songs from Sound of Music as you stroll through the neighborhood or down in the park. Have fun whatever you do today, even if it's different from moi.

Saturday, 18th September -- Glad everyone liked getting the chili recipe -- I kid you not, it's very good, and with tortilla chips scooping it up -- be still my heart and other parts as well.
Now, WEEK 2 NFL NEW GAME RULES: Yes, I changed the number of games WEEK 2 from 4 games to 5 -- You now pick 2 of the 5 games -- your favorite team (if I didn't have it in my picks) plus a free pick. Is everyone clear?

Today's going to be lots of fun -- the Cantina, of course, my iPhone won't take a charge, so it's the insane Apple store, a tad of shopping, a nice long walk, and a movie, the one I can't pronounce -- something like Shing-La and the Ten Dwarfs -- something like that -- our last try with a Chinese movie.
What are you up to today? If nothing else, be sure to have a TACO
then get outside -- walk, skip, run in spurts, or trot in spurts -- but outside you go and breathe in the lovely fresh air -- supposed to have rain where there are fires -- a 46% chance here in Sausalito beginning tonight, late. All fingers crossed it comes about.
