Since formation, the band has toured the world and played with The Pixies, The Hives, Black Lips, OFF!, Jeff The Brotherhood, The Orwells, Wavves, The Delta Spirit and more. SAINT AGNES New single ‘Merry Mother of God Go Round’
SAINT AGNESNew single ‘Merry Mother of God Go Round’Out December 8th via Death Or Glory Gang RecordsListen

“Saint Agnes kick out the jams with a fervour and sense of purpose that's genuinely refreshing by shoving the blues through a mangle of 70s influenced psych and metal and then spewing them out in a multi-coloured spray.” – The Quietus
“Psych-rock four-piece Saint Agnes have created a unique cinematic sound and a rock ’n’ roll Gothic image to match.” –The Telegraph
“Their raw chemistry proves as potent as ever as they dish out a grinding splurge of defiant rock n’ roll graffiti” – Q Magazine
‘Merry Mother Of God Go Round’ was recorded at the analogue Soup Studios in Limehouse on tape and engineered and mixed by Dave Holmes. It’s the second single in a series, with fans vying for new material since the tear-away success of ‘Sister Electric’, which sold out its lathe cut vinyl release on pre-order.
Merging effortlessly raw guitars with true rock n’ roll swagger, Saint Agnes are a phenomenon that simply need to be experienced live. A sense of unifying camaraderie fills the air at their shows as the atmosphere is thick with anticipation: something not often witnessed on the London live music circuit.
Churning fuzz bass reminiscent of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and bruising, Bonham style drums provide the backbone of a band that sound something like The Kills providing the soundtrack to Easy Rider. Haunting breakdowns and distant harmonica earned Saint Agnes their Ennio Morricone comparison, but dig deeper and you’ll find the influence of legendary doomsters Black Sabbath and much much more.
Saint Agnes are performing upcoming shows in support of LA Witch and Reef before performing their largest London headline yet, at Oslo, Hackney on Dec 8th.

NYC rockers Cheena recently released their debut LP Spend The Night With... this past August onSacred Bones Records. They've been playing a great deal locally, toured the West Coast with a stop at the Berserktown Festival in Los Angeles and now to top off the year the band is finally taking their gritty and undeniably catchy punk overseas this week.
Robin Pak has created a music video for the band by utilizing claymation, calling back to the videos you'd see late night on MTV in the '90s. A dog struts through various psychedelic transformative scenes. Watch the video below and catch the band on tour now!

SPEND THE NIGHT WITH... OUT NOW ON SACRED BONES RECORDS

"the true story of rock’n’roll, told by people who live it every day." - Pitchfork
