ROCK & ROLL HALL OF FAMERS ANNOUNCE 18TH STUDIO ALBUM DUE EVERYWHERE FRIDAY, JUNE 16th
PRE-ORDERS AVAILABLE NOW WITH INSTANT DOWNLOAD OF ELECTRIFYING FIRST SINGLE, "LONG TIME COMING"

Cheap Trick has announced the release of their eagerly awaited new album. WE'RE ALL ALRIGHT! arrives everywhere via Big Machine Records on Friday, June 16.
WE'RE ALL ALRIGHT! - which follows last year's acclaimed BANG ZOOM CRAZY...HELLO - is available for pre-order now via Cheap Trick's PledgeMusic campaign. Exclusive bundles include Vinyl, signed guitars, personalized video messages, memorabilia from the band and more. Beginning Friday, May 5, the album will be available for pre-order through all digital retailers and will be accompanied by two instant downloads: the electrifying first single, "Long Time Coming," and album highlight, "Lolita." Additional tracks will be available in the weeks leading up to the album's release. Explore Cheap Trick's PledgeMusic campaign here:http://smarturl.it/CTPledge.  The song premiered yesterday via Billboard, which raved "'Long Time Coming,' a crunchy hard rocker driven by a Kinks-flavored riff, is a bit of a one-song tribute to Cheap Trick's influential forebears." The track is joined by a new companion visual, streaming now at www.Billboard.com.
Cheap Trick's 18th studio album, WE'RE ALL ALRIGHT! was co-produced by the band and their longtime collaborator, GRAMMY® Award winner Julian Raymond (Glen Campbell, Fastball). The album will be available in Standard and Deluxe Editions, with the latter including three additional bonus tracks, among them a kaleidoscopic cover of The Move's "Blackberry Way." The Rock & Roll Hall of Famers - whose four decade-plus career has seen them play more than 5,000 shows and counting - will celebrate WE'RE ALL ALRIGHT! with a worldwide tour. The dates - presented by Live Nation and also featuring Foreigner and Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience - begin July 11 at Syracuse, NY's Lakeview Amphitheater and then continue into September. Additional dates and support will be announced soon. For complete details and ticket availability, please visit www.CheapTrick.com.  In addition, Cheap Trick have set a number of U.S. festival performances as well as a European tour slated to get underway June 23 with a much anticipated set at Spain's Azkena Rock Festival. The trek will be highlighted by a trio of U.K. headline shows - the band's first in six years - set for London's O2 Kentish Town Forum (June 27), Manchester's Academy (June 28), and Bristol's O2 Academy (June 29).
Cheap Trick are an indisputable American institution, beloved around the globe since 1974 for their instantly identifiable, hugely influential, brand of pop rock 'n' roll. The band - Robin Zander (vocals, rhythm guitar), Rick Nielsen (lead guitar), Tom Petersson (bass guitar), and Daxx Nielsen (drums) - are true pioneers with an unparalleled streak of certifiably classic tunes, from "He's A Whore," "California Man" and "Dream Police" to "Surrender," "I Want You To Want Me" and the worldwide #1 hit single, "The Flame." 2016 saw Cheap Trick's long awaited induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The induction honored both the band and the pioneering sound that has earned them total record sales well in excess of 20 million featured appearances and more than 40 international GOLD and PLATINUM certifications. Cheap Trick closed the 2016 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony with a show-stealing performance of "Surrender," "Dream Police," and "I Want You To Want Me," prompting Rolling Stone to rave, "Their smoking three-song set (was) played to perfection, with Zander hitting all the notes he hit at Budokan back in 1978." Members of the evening's other top inductees - including longtime friend Steve Miller - then joined the band for a memorable all-star jam on Fats Domino's "Ain't That A Shame" - a song famously featured on the immortal CHEAP TRICK AT BUDOKAN BANG ZOOM CRAZY...HELLO made a spectacular chart entry following its release on April 1, 2016 - officially designated "Cheap Trick Day" in their beloved hometown of Rockford, IL. The collection arrived at No. 3 on Billboard's "Top Rock Albums" chart while also entering the overall SoundScan/Billboard 200 at No. 30. "When I Wake Up Tomorrow," the album's powerful first single/video, also proved a multi-format smash, spending more than 15 consecutive days at the top of the Classic Rock airplay chart. As if that weren't enough, Cheap Trick ruled the Classic Rock chart in the weeks preceding BANG ZOOM CRAZY...HELLO with a stunning 11 tracks in the format's top 15, including material recorded at a special iHeartRadio ICONS concert in New York City. BANG ZOOM CRAZY...HELLO was also among 2016's best-reviewed releases.Kerrang! noted how Cheap Trick's "ability to write sugar-coated riffs that stick in your head as though made of golden syrup has not diminished" while Classic Rock's Paul Lester applauded "the consistency and urgency of this, their 17th studio record." "The album "swings at the kind of big-riff, mutant-guitar rock and near-falsetto, multi-layered vocal melodies that have long been a part of the band's 40-year repertoire," raved The AV Club as Ultimate Classic Rock noted, "Really, they haven't sounded this strong in years." "A guns-blazing reinforcement of classic tropes," declared MOJO with Uncut praising the album as "the band's most consistently thrilling long-player since the Carter administration." "A rugged, uncompromising platter that will satisfy existing fans and might find new ones to add to their cultish following," exclaimed American Songwriter, further praising the album's 11 "swaggering selections, any one of which could have come off albums recorded decades ago in their prime... BANG ZOOM CRAZY...HELLO is everything anyone would want from the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers at this late stage, and likely far more than even their staunchest fans expected. Here's to another 40 years."

MIRANDA LEE RICHARDS LOS ANGELES SHOWS

MIRANDA LEE RICHARDSLOS ANGELES SHOWS:
WEDNESDAY, MAY 3 (8:00p)The Record Parlour- Hollywood6408 Selma Ave. Hollywood, CA

Record Release Party WEDNESDAY, MAY 31 (8:30p)THE BOOTLEG THEATER2220 Beverly Blvd. Los Angeles, CANEW ALBUM'EXISTENTIAL BEAST'OUT JUNE 16 ON INVISIBLE HANDS MUSIC

MIRANDA LEE RICHARDS will perform a private acoustic show in Hollywood next Wednesday, May 3 at The Record Parlour. Later next month on Wednesday, May 31 she'll perform with her full band for a record release show at the Bootleg Theater (2220 Beverly Blvd.-Los Angeles).

MIRANDA is nearing the release of her brand new album, EXISTENTIAL BEAST due out on June 16 on Invisible Hands Music. This beautifully constructed new release is characteristic of the effortless, 70's-influenced, country-tinged psychedelia evident throughout the Los Angeles native's previous work. EXISTENTIAL BEAST was recorded in Los Angeles with producer Rick Parker, best known for his work with Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and features the first single "Lucid I Would Dream," chosen by BBC 6'sLauren Laverne as a "headphone moment." Listen to "Lucid I Would Dream"on YAHOO ( here ).

EXISTENTIAL BEAST is a political album, examining the issues of our time, but with the intent of tackling these tough and often taboo subjects in a poetic and heartfelt manner. The title is also a mash-up of terms, referencing the existential crisis that has in turn arisen. MIRANDA says of EXISTENTIAL BEAST"In essence, we are all still working within those animal urges of fear, competition, survival and sexuality which are deep-seeded and manifesting in varying ways and degrees for different individuals, depending on where they are at. But like it or not, these tendencies have been revealed, within our leaders, our countries and ourselves; it is indeed a pivotal and transformational time and there is much work to be done."

Born in San Francisco after the summer of love and before the dawn of disco,MIRANDA LEE RICHARDS grew up in an artistic and bohemian environment that has informed her adult life and work. After graduating from San Francisco School Of The Arts, she began to pursue a musical career. She met Kirk Hammett from Metallica who taught her to play Mazzy Star songs on guitar. Her early demos reached Anton Newcombe and she joined his band, the Brian Jonestown MassacreMIRANDA then signed to Virgin Records and released her debut album The Herethereafter, a mix of folk, psychedelia, country and indie pop, and found fans worldwide. The critically acclaimed follow-up album Light Of X--the title of which comes from a dream about harnessing beams of light to travel in time--followed in 2009 via Nettwerk Records. In 2016, MIRANDA unveiled Echoes Of The Dreamtime on Invisible Hands Music, which received rave reviews across in the U.K. and U.S., as well as national airplay with MOJO giving the album 4 stars and hailing the first single, "The sublime 'First Light Of Winter' is the moment it all comes together, Richards transcending her influences and, no longer constrained, arriving atpsychedelia's higher plane" (1/2016). EXISTENTIAL BEAST is yet another confident and inspiring piece of work from MIRANDA, sure to excite her ever growing fan base. Known for her enchanting live performances, look forMIRANDA LEE RICHARDS to perform the new album in venues across the U.S. and U.K. later this year.

Debbie Downer Shares Debut Single "I Did It All For You"

Brooklyn's Debbie Downer Shares Debut Single
"
I Did It All For You " via  The Le Sigh

Playing Northside & Other Brooklyn Shows
Debbie Downer is a new Brooklyn-based band made up of four friends -- Jessica Downer, Nicole Downer, Emily Downer, and Jacob Downer -- whose luck seems to be consistent with their name (their very first show, scheduled for Friday the 13th, was cancelled.) Regardless, they've been playing plenty of hometown shows and just wrapped up their debut EP, You Know You're Wrong

Today, the band shares their first recorded material with EP single "I Did It All For You." The Le Sigh  sums the song up perfectly: "The echo-y harmonies give it that '60s pop softness, while twangy guitar riffs give it that Californian, surf rock edge." You can stream & share the track via  Soundcloud . Debbie Downer has a handful of local shows coming up, including some for Brooklyn's
Northside Festival in June. See below for all upcoming dates.

Upcoming Shows:
5/5: Jersey City, NJ - Monty Hall (w/ Supersnake, bigbutt)
5/19: Brooklyn, NY - Sunnyvale (w/ Les Sans Culottes)
5/20: Brooklyn, NY - Starliner (w/ Spritzer, El Dorado)
6/8: Brooklyn, NY - Northside Festival @ Bar Matchless (w/ Grim Streaker, Dead Stars, Milan to Minsk)
6/10: Brooklyn, NY - Northside Festival @ Tender Trap (w/ Friend Roulette, Spirit Plate, Grim Streaker)

Ti Amo is Phoenix's first album since 2013's critically lauded  Bankrupt! .  Produced by the band and recorded at La Gaîté Lyrique (Paris) with the help of long time collaborator Pierrick Devin, Ti Amo is - in the band's own words - "an album about simple pure emotions: love, desire, lust and innocence, it's also a record about our European, Latin roots, a fantasized version of Italy: a lost paradise made of eternal Roman summers (hyper-light, hyper-clarity, pistachio gelato), juke-boxes on the beach, Monica Vitti and Marcello Mastroiani, fearless desire and Antique marble statues."

Phoenix will be touring throughout America this spring in support of Ti Amo; dates are below. Leading into album release week, the band will play a headline set at Governor's Ball in New York City followed by stops in Toronto, Chicago, at Red Rocks and more. The band will also be playing a very special show at Los Angeles' Hollywood Bowl on June 15th with indie troubadour Mac DeMarco supporting, as well as previously-announced opener The Lemon Twigs.

Dan Auerbach Premieres Music Video For “King Of A One Horse Town” Via Pitchfork

DAN AUERBACH PREMIERES MUSIC VIDEO FOR “KING OFA ONE HORSE TOWN” VIA PITCHFORK

NEW ALBUM  WAITING   ON   A   SONG ,  JUNE 2
ON EASY EYE SOUND

MUSIC HALL OF WILLIAMSBURG SHOW WILL AIR LIVE ON SIRIUSXM’S THE SPECTRUM (CH 28) ON MAY 12TH
“Someone asked me recently who my favorite singer was, and I told them it was Dan. As a vocalist I compare him to George Jones and Ray Charles.”
-Duane Eddy

“Dan Auerbach is his own man. He goes from strength to strength. It was great to be a part of his record.”
-Mark KnopflerThis morning, Nine-time GRAMMY–winner Dan Auerbach shares the music video for “King of a One Horse Town” via Pitchfork. The poignant video was directed by Aaron Hymes, and follows a day in the life of a “king of a one horse town,” who Auerbach describes as “anyone who’s scared of the outside world. Anyone who’s afraid to go beyond their own block for fear of failure. It could be a drug dealer. A drunk. A professor. That's a feeling any of us can relate to.” Watch the music video on Pitchfork here.

Waiting   On   A   Song  is Auerbach’s follow-up to 2009’s Keep It Hid and is a love letter to Nashville. As such, he recruited some of Nashville’s most respected players to write and record his latestincluding John Prine, Duane Eddy, Jerry Douglas, Pat McLaughlin as well as Bobby Wood and Gene Chrisman of the Memphis Boys. Auerbach said about working with his musical heroes: “Living in Nashville has definitely changed the way I think about music and the way that I record it. I didn’t have all of these resources before. I am working with some of the greatest musicians that ever lived.” Waiting On A Song is available for pre-order on CD, vinyl, and digitally. The album will also be available in limited-edition bundles, including an exclusive 8 track and a vintage 8 track player signed and customized by Auerbach, a seat cushion and various autographed and colored vinyl sets. Pre-order the album on all formats here.

Dan Auerbach will partner with SiriusXM's The Spectrum (Ch 28) on May 12th for a full-band performance which will broadcast live from Brooklyn’s Music Hall of Williamsburg starting at 9PM ET (6PM PT), and will be rebroadcast at 12AM ET (9PM PT). “SiriusXM Presents Dan Auerbach at Music Hall of Williamsburg” will give listeners an exclusive preview of his second solo album,  Waiting   On   A Song ,  which will be released on June 2nd via his new label, Easy Eye Sound. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased here, with a two ticket limit per order.

Recently, NPR Music premiered the video for Waiting On A Songs first single,“Shine on Me”.

Dan Auerbach moved to Nashville from his native Akron, Ohio in 2010 and with this release, his first solo album in eight years, it is clear that he has made Music City his home. During the summer of 2016, taking a break from the non-stop touring he’d done with The Black Keys and the Arcs, he finally got acquainted with the city he loves so much, as well as the world-class musicians who live there, and subsequently collaborated with some of Nashville’s heavyweights. Of the process he reveals, “They’d come over, and we’d be in a little room in my house with the door closed, and we’d just write. Monday through Wednesday we’d write, and then Thursday through Sunday we’d record, every week.” Auerbach wrote seven songs with John Prine, one of which is the title track of the album. Mark Knopfler’s immediately identifiable guitar elevates “Shine on Me” into an anthem. Iconic guitarist Duane Eddy is featured on “Livin’ in Sin” and the cinematic “King of a One Horse Town.”

Waiting On A Song is the debut release, and marks the launch of Easy Eye Sound, Dan Auerbach’s new record label which will feature soon-to-be-announced releases from other artists and is distributed by Auerbach's longtime label Nonesuch Records. The  new label is built equally around Auerbach’s Easy Eye Studio in Nashville, where The Black Keys recorded their last two albums, as well as the collection of famous session musicians that have come to call the studio home. Auerbach says, “Sometimes I feel I created my own Field of Dreams. I built the studio because I knew something was going to happen. I built it to accommodate live musicians playing, and then all of a sudden the best musicians in Nashville show up, and it’s happening.”
