TOGETHER PANGEA SHARES NEW MUSIC VIDEO FOR "MONEY ON IT"
NEW ALBUM BULLS AND ROOSTERS AVAILABLE FOR PRE-ORDER NOW
Together Pangea - "Money On It"
Los Angeles, CA - August 11, 2017 - LA rock quartet Together Pangea have shared a new music video for track "Money On It", off their forthcoming new album Bulls and Roosters, due out August 25th via Nettwerk. Directed by FIDLAR bassist Brandon Schwartzel, the music video can be seen HERE. Consequence of Sound premiered the song last month, praising, "The rich vibes mixed with scratchy vocals show more of the continued evolution the band has been undergoing." Bulls and Roosters is available for preorder HERE. Fans who pre-order the album will receive instant downloads of "Money On It" and previously released track "Better Find Out".
Co-produced by Together Pangea and longtime collaborator Andrew Schubert, and mixed by Chris Coady (TV On The Radio, Beach House, The Black Lips), Bulls and Roosters was recorded to two-inch tape at Golden Beat studios in Los Angeles and showcases a more matured sound than prior efforts. Stereogum broke news of the release of Bulls and Roosters last month and premiered a music video for the album's infectious lead single "Better Find Out". Directed by Steele O'Neal, the video can be seen HERE.
"It's important to never make the same album twice... if there's any concerted effort from us, that's it. We wanted to try new things and experiment with making music that wasn't so aggressive or fast," said singer/guitarist William Keegan. "Rather than worrying about any expectations, we were like,'Fuck all that. Let's be as honest as we can possibly be.' Sure it's growth, but there's still a brattiness to it."
Next month, Together Pangea will embark on the Bulls and Roosters Tour in support of the album. The tour's North American Leg will kick off on September 14th in San Diego, CA and wrap on October 22nd in Santa Cruz, CA, and feature support fromTall Juan andDaddy Issues. Renowned guitarist Kaki King is announcing her first release in over two years, and once again she delivers something completely unexpected. Kaki King Live at Berklee will be released on September 22, and is available for preorder now .
The album, recorded live at the Red Room at Cafe 939 in Boston in April of 2017, features King performing new arrangements of her solo guitar compositions, reimagined with the addition of strings and woodwinds. “a shockingly gifted, stunningly complex performer who's just slightly out of place in too simple a setting." – LA Times
“Watching Kaki King perform is like seeing guitar-playing for the first time... The effect is of sculpting rather than of playing music.” – NY Mag
"bare, powerful, and propulsive." - KUTX Austin
Hailed by Rolling Stone as “a genre unto herself,” Brooklyn-based composer and guitarist Kaki King has released 8 albums over the past 13 years. She has performed on every continent over the course of multiple world tours, and has presented her work in a variety of prestigious arts centers, including the Kennedy Center, MoMA, LACMA and The Met. She has created music for numerous film and TV soundtracks, including “August Rush” and Sean Penn's “Into the Wild”, for which received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Original Score.
Her most recent work until now, “The Neck Is A Bridge To The Body,” is Kaki at her visionary best: deconstructing and redefining the role of solo instrumental artist though virtuoso technique, insatiable imagination, and boundless humanity. This groundbreaking new multi-media performance uses projection mapping to present the guitar as an ontological tabula rasa in a creation myth unlike any other, where luminous visions of genesis and death, textures and skins, are cast onto her signature Ovation Adamas guitar which has been customized specifically for this production.

One of the most successful, prolific and influential artists of her generation, Tori Amos will release her hotly-anticipated new album September 8, 2017 onDecca Records. New album track "Up The Creek" debuted with Stereogum and is available to post/share HERE .
A stand-out track featuring vocals of Amos’s daughter Tash, "Up The Creek" is about flood, foreboding - and concern for parts of our world that are changing forever. Impassioned by her questioning of the future and climate change, Amos felt it was important to have Tash’s teenage voice represented, speaking for Gaia of Mother Earth. The song’s dark electronica recalls the energy of Amos’s 1996 dance hit Professional Widow. The chorus echoes her Native American grandfather’s favourite saying, “Good Lord willin and the creek don’t rise.”
Amos’s fifteenth album is an intense feast of melody, protest, tenderness and pain. In the summer of 2016, she took a road trip through North Carolina’s Smoky Mountains. The intention was to reconnect with the stories and songlines of her mother’s family, who were from the North Carolina and Tennessee Smoky Mountain area. That winter, two seismic events knocked the plan off its axis. The fall out from the US Election. And in January her mother, Maryellen Amos, suffered a severe stroke leaving her unable to speak.
The complex influence of America’s alt-right Super PACs, lobbyists and think tanks informs much of the tension in Native Invader. “It wasn’t going to be a record of pain, blood and bone when I began,” she says. “It wasn’t going to be a record of division. But the Muses 9 insisted that I listened and watched the conflicts that were traumatizing the nation and write about those raw emotions. Hopefully people will find strength and resilience within the songs to give them the energy to survive the storms that we are currently in”. The sense of semantic distortion permeates Native Invader. Amos talks of the need to form a “militia of the mind” in the face of national lies. Hidden messages and subliminal protests lend themselves perfectly to Amos’s natural playfulness. For all its dark themes, this album is a joy to absorb, full of warmth and puzzles.
Tori Amos’ extensive North American fall concert schedule kicks off on October 24 (complete itinerary below). The North American concert dates are part of a larger world tour she begins in September in Europe.
Following 2014’s Unrepentant Geraldines – her eighth Billboard Top 10 album -- Native Invader is Tori’s fifteenth studio album and will be made available in various physical and digital configurations, as well as vinyl later this fall. The physical CD package will be available in standard as well as deluxe offerings; the latter includes a hardcover book and two bonus tracks.
A pioneer across multiple platforms, Tori was the first major label artist to offer a single for download. Nominated for multiple Grammy Awards, she has had her songs turned into graphic novels and has produced ground-breaking videos throughout her career. In late 2016 she released the title song ‘Flicker’ to the acclaimed Netflix documentary ‘Audrie and Daisy’, addressing issues of high school rape. A noted humanitarian, Tori is co-founder of RAINN (Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network), which is the United States’ largest anti-sexual assault organization.

Durant released her debut EP, Gathering, in 2011, joined the Colin L. Orchestra in 2012, and followed with the Take Your Money and Run EP in 2014, recorded at Andrija Tokic’s Nashville studio.

Liam Gallagher Releases New Song "For What It's Worth"

Debut Solo Album As You Were Available October 6th ViaWarner Bros. Records
August 10, 2017 (Burbank, CA) - Liam Gallagher's high profile return has already encompassed life-affirming live shows around the world with more than 12 million streams of the lead track 'Wall Of Glass,' and the recent 'Chinatown,' which Rolling Stone compared to the Oasis classic "Champagne Supernova." The new songs have made an instant and indelible impact: "'Chinatown' is as plucky and sweet as 'Wall Of Glass,' is brash and aggressive. Gallagher's full-length will have plenty of stylistic diversity... top notch." - Entertainment Weekly "'Chinatown' has a lovely psych vibe sparser and prettier than many Oasis songs." - Paste "Gallagher snarls over raucous power chords, pounding drums and wailing harmonica. 'Wall Of Glass' pairs a vintage Oasis attack with modern production sheen." - Rolling Stone Liam's next step towards the October 6 release of his debut solo album As You Were comes with the brand new track "For What It's Worth," which is available beginning today. Produced by Dan Grech-Marguerat, "For What It's Worth" was written by Liam with Simon Jons. Liam's iconic vocal captures the power and emotion required to deliver the kind of towering, anthemic chorus that his voice is built for. "I wanted to write an apology," says Liam. "Not to one person, but to everyone, because I'm no good at saying sorry. That song is a tune." Liam wrote or co-wrote almost every song that's featured on As You Were. In addition to Dan Grech-Marguerat, other key collaborators include Greg Kurstin, Andrew Wyatt of Miike Snow, and Michael Tighe. One of the most striking aspects of the album is that all the songs have a purpose. There's nothing unnecessary, nothing to cut. They all feel directed at something or someone, setting the record straight and reflecting his lyrical point of view. "I didn't want to be reinventing anything or going off on a space jazz odyssey," he says. "It's the Lennon 'Cold Turkey' vibe, The Stones, the classics. But done my way, now." Tracklisting for As You Were: 1. Wall Of Glass2. Bold3. Greedy Soul4. Paper Crown5. For What It's Worth6. When I'm In Need7. You Better Run8. I Get By9. Chinatown10. Come Back To Me11. A special boxset is also available from https://wbr.ec/lg-store-dlxboxset. RIOT FEST 2017 ANNOUNCES FULL SCHEDULE

Thursday, August 10, 2017Organizers behind Riot Fest (September 15-17 in Chicago’s Douglas Park) unveiled the full schedule for this year’s festival. Highlighting Friday night’s schedule is Nine Inch Nails playing on the same stage as Ministry—a band that Trent Reznor used to roadie for—and Vic Mensa sharing the Rise Stage with Action Bronson. Saturday features the heavy sounds of At the Drive In, Danzig and Dead Cross on the Roots Stage, as well as a stacked Radicals Stage featuring Wu-Tang Clan, a DJ set from the Beastie Boys’ Mike D, Bad Brains, Shabazz Palaces and Fishbone. Closing out the festival on Sunday is Jawbreaker, the highly influential punk band that is playing again after a 21 year hiatus, and Paramore, hot off the release of its fifth studio album, After Laughter, which dropped earlier this summer. On August 21st, Riot Fest will announce the winner of the “YOUR NAME HERE” Stage Naming Contest, where one lucky fan will win four passes to the festival and have a stage named after them. 2016’s Storyheart Stage was named after that year’s winner, Storyheart Ciangi-Bachtell.Riot Fest Passes are on sale now, with General Admission, VIP, and Single-Day options available via Ticketfly.Additionally, 10 artists have been confirmed to perform their seminal albums in full at Riot Fest 2017: Wu-Tang Clan, Danzig, Dinosaur Jr., The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Built to Spill, Fishbone, Bayside, Mayday Parade, The Lawrence Arms and that dog.The festival will once again feature a full-scale carnival with rides, games of chance and of course, the Hellzapoppin’ Sideshow Revue freak show, which will see a much extended footprint from prior years. "With much of their recent material, Wire continues to keep true to themselves in a way that makes old fans stick around, while still freshening up their sound enough to engage new generations with each new decade of music." - Stereogum
"Silver/Lead is another timely record from a band with an unwavering eye for the present." - Noisey

WIRE have announced its fall North American headline tour in support of its critically acclaimed studio album, Silver/Lead. The upcoming dates follow up the band’s successful West Coast tour and DRILL festivals in Los Angeles, Leeds and Berlin. WIRE will be touring the U.S. and Canada with the tour kicking off on September 16 in Chicago at The Metro and will include three shows in Brooklyn at Baby’s All Right. The band will also visit markets such as Boston, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia and Toronto. All upcoming shows are listed below.
Silver/Lead is the 15th studio album from musical pioneers Wire. It arrived on the 40th anniversary of their debut performance. Yet it’s about as far from nostalgia as you could get. This is the sound of a uniquely addictive 21st century psychedelic post-punk.On Silver/Lead, Colin Newman and Matt Simms’ guitar work is alternately jagged and luminous, while bassist Graham Lewis’s ear-catching lyrics are vivid yet oblique. Meanwhile, drummer Robert Grey provides a virtual masterclass in percussive minimalism. But it’s how the various instruments mesh together that really counts. And Newman’s production creates a sonic space in which even the smallest gesture is accorded some recognition.Highlights include the optimistic dazzle of “Diamonds In Cups,” with its almost T. Rex-style buzz and chug, and the moody swing of “This Time.” Elsewhere on the musical spectrum, there’s the menacing widescreen grandeur of "Playing Harp For The Fishes" and breakneck-paced guitar pop of "Short Elevated Period."Wire are one of the world’s most ground-breaking bands, their influence acknowledged by bands as diverse as Blur, Sonic Youth, R.E.M. and Savages. But they have never been interested in exploiting past glories. For Wire, there is only ever one possible direction: forwards. So it’s perhaps not surprising that over recent years, they’ve played strings of sold-out shows, achieved career-best record sales, and been cited as a strong influence by yet another generation of bands.Wire’s last three albums garnered nothing but rave reviews. From 2013’s strangely beautifulChange Becomes Us (“It’s fantastic.” – Pitchfork) to the crackling motorik of 2015’s Wire (“It’s all really well turned, potent and crisp.” – The Guardian), and last year’s punchy mini-album Nocturnal Koreans (“It's a cracker and sounds defiantly modern.” – The Quietus). Consequently, although it may be being released on the band’s 40th anniversary, Silver/Lead is an album which has nothing to do with the past and everything to do with the future.

Kasabian, one of the UK's most successful and beloved bands, have revealed plans for a run of North American live dates in September -including stops in New York City, DC, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles and more.
The band released their sixth studio album For Crying Out Loud in the UK on May 5th, landing them their 5th UK #1 album. For Crying Out Loud is available on all DSPs in the US now via RED. The band will release a physical version of the LP in the US via Third Man Records on September 1st. Lead singles "You're In Love With A Psycho" and "Bless This Acid House" are buoyant, spirited sing-a-longs, bursting with the band's renowned swagger and brilliant knack for rousing choruses.
Kasabian have firmly established themselves as British national treasures, with a flawless discography and legions of fans. In the space of their previous five album releases they've pocketed a UK GRAMMY-equivalent BRIT Award, seven NME awards and four Q Awards. Their euphoric live sets have taken them to the headline spots at multiple music festivals, including the world's biggest: England's legendary Glastonbury Festival. It's been three years since North American fans were treated to a tour. Watch the band perform "Bless This Acid House" live on the BBC's Later With Jools Holland.
Following the more electronic direction of 2014's acclaimed 48:13, Kasabian were keen to make a truly great guitar album. Serge Pizzorno says about For Crying Out Loud, "We wanted to make a very positive album full of hope with guitars to remind people that it's still relevant." Kasabian, one of the UK's most successful and beloved bands, have revealed plans for a run of North American live dates in September -including stops in New York City, DC, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles and more.
Serge Pizzorno says about For Crying Out Loud, "We wanted to make a very positive album full of hope with guitars to remind people that it's still relevant." The result is one of the most energetic and dynamic rock records of the year.
