Marketing Tips Around The Net: May 15th

I hope you are ready for the weekend. I will be signing copies of my book, The Samson Effect, with 12 other Texan authors at the Richardson Public Library tomorrow from 2-4 pm. Should be fun! 5 Public Speaking Venues You Can Schedule Today

5 Creative Ways To Market Your Book You Can Do Today

As authors, we look for ways to get our book in front of people to build awareness. For example, I just decided to release my award winning action/adventure novel, The Samson Effect, as a serial release. It started this week, and each Monday I will release another chapter until the book is fully serialized. I am doing this to increase awareness of the book and ultimately to increase sales. Giving away your book to increase sales? Hmmm.... We shall see.

There is a new class of authors developing today. The class is characterized by the author who can write commercially viable books and has the marketing savvy to find readers for those books. Oh yeah, they also publish their books themselves. No longer does self-publishing mean the last hope of subpar work that has been rejected.
