Sell More Books by Giving Away Your Content- By Cathy Stucker
I am excited to finally be getting back into the groove of things. Today's post is done on my brand-spanking new computer. Because the article is getting posted later than I normally like, and because I am still migrating settings and programs to my new computer, I am running this guest post for two days. On Thursday, I will get back to posting daily on the blog. One day, I am going to blog about the errors I made that led led to this disruption of my blog (errors I fully knew to protect myself

My ailing computer failed totally, right in the middle of creating a guest post and changing the scheduled posts. The results: last Tuesday was my last post. It was a great one with Phyllis Zimbler Miller, so that was the highlight of the technology meltdown.
So, for the rest of the week, I had no computer access whatsoever. I had to actually take a v

5 Top Posts For February and March
Last week, I told you that I will be on vacation this week. As you read this, I am probably on a deep sea fishing boat with my father and brother in the Gulf of Mexico or on a beach with my wife and twin three year old boys. As I approach my 40th birthday in a couple of months, I find that nothing in life thrills me more than to spend time with my family. The beach is nice, but watching my sons' wide-eyed wonderment at the beach and rolling waves, tiny crabs and darting fishes is more than I cou

Marketing Tips Around The Net: July 10th
I am excited today for a number of reasons. First, I am leaving tomorrow morning for a vacation to the gulf coast. I live in Dallas, TX and my parents and brother live in Indianapolis, IN. My family is meeting up with them for a deep sea fishing trip and some leisurely time on the beach (or as we try to explain it to my 3 year old twin boys, the biggest sand box and pool that they have ever seen).
The second reason I am excited it that I am getting closer to having my new computer. It's being bui

Running Effective Twitter Contests To Increase Followers
Contest are a very popular way of gaining subscribers. In Twitter, followers are the equivalent of subscribers. In this post, I want to discuss how to perform a successful Twitter contest. This is something that I did which primed my Twitter followers base with targeted followers. Once you gain a threshold of followers, your list can continue to grow on its own, as long as you put out good, relevant, and useful tweets.

Guest Blogging Topics to Avoid By Angela Wilson
I am excited to have Angela Wilson as our guest blogger this week. I was turned onto Angela's blog, Market My Novel, by fellow book marketers. It has quickly grown into one of my favorites to read. Angela is an author and a social networking expert who operates Ask Angela from her blog. This allows authors to submit their book marketing questions directly to her. Visit her blog today and look around. You won't be disappointed.
