Sanderson has such a workman-like way of delivering the story. There's no flourish to the prose, just delivery, very competent delivery. Despite this, there is something oddly charming about this world he has created that is compelling me to come back to it. That being said, Kaladin is dull as dishwater and the narrator compounds the issue. I am liking Shallan and her narrator though.
