Good ol' Gabe. Every action jaunt needs a "I will find you!" moment.

There is a lot of buildup going on. This temple delve best be worth it lol. Also, the pithy swordsman seems a right liability. He spends more time being healed by the priest than fighting. Too many critical fails, methinks.

Bit of a slow start, but I'm seeing how this is going. It's a world built for D&D style adventures. Very cool.

The band is back together. Time to get this show on the road!

The thing about Brandon - All the Words - Sanderson, is I know I'm gonna get a good, fun read. It might not stay with me forever, but I'll have fun reading (or listening) to it.

Somewhat amazingly, I've never read one of Ben's books before. I intend to rectify this oversight with Chasing Graves.

I really want to get this finished today. Anyone fancy babysitting a 6 month old beagle puppy. Chews everything and won't stay off the damned sofa.

I'm really hoping the plot kicks in some time soon. The narrator has made listening to this one a bit of a chore.

Finally getting some reading done. Dyrk doesn't take his foot off the gas for one page in this one.

As it's just been released on audio, I thought I give my own book a listen to. The narrator has done a very good job so far.

Book seems alright so far, but the narrator is making it hard work.

SPFBO read number 4. The description makes it sound a little cliched, but then I like my cliches. Time to see how it's handled.

Page count is off, I think. There are 824 pages in this version of the book. 100 pages to go!!! What will happen? How will they do the thing? What twists lie in store? What will I do once it's over?

Wish I could find more time to read at the moment.

Yesterday the puppy was a nightmare. I got no reading done.

Today the puppy is so tired from being a nightmare that she has slept most of the day. I have read about a hundred pages. It's been a good day. :D

This book feels very much like Chris Wooding writing a tribute to Fellowship of the Ring. It definitely feels like classical epic fantasy at its finest.

There's yet to be any actual gaming in this book about a guy in an online game.

Should have this finished today. I'm in 2 minds about whether to continue with the series.
